We come here often. This time we brought two other couples. Service for drinks was slow. Server was not really friendly at all. Seemed maybe too few servers and the place was packed. Don’t like the $20 fee per person to reserve. Steak and frites meal has always been awesome mainly because of the peppercorn gravy which is amazing! last two times- gravy is the replacement and it’s really bland. Not worth the hefty price tag. Overall food is great here but again service tonight not great.

With only 3 servers on the floor on a busy night it shows the servers were really busy. Thankfully ours was really good but you should have more staff on friday nights.

Service staff were excellent as always, made recommendations on the wine and meal that turned out to be perfect and they kept an eye on us without bugging us. The Tomahawk Wagyu steak was incredible. Perfectly cooked, incredibly tasty. New Zealand chardonnay was dry and went surprisingly well with the steak. As usual, we will be back.

Our food took quite a while to arrive and was not really hot steak was rare and asked for medium rare, veggie burger was slimey and not appetizing. Fries were great, waitress was great

Your reservation process is very cumbersome. I tried to use open table to book 12welve Bistro and it didn’t work for a few days and multiple trys. Then I called the venue directly. Three times. Left a message, no answer. Talked to a server who said she couldn’t book without a manager and managers don’t work weekends. Did. It get a call back. Try again no body answered so didn’t leave a message. Dinner was good. Very expensive for what you get. A glass of wine for $18 is ridiculous. That is Toronto prices in Whitby ☹️ I have not been as frustrated with a server as I was last night in a long time. Took forever to come take our order. She thought we were waiting for three more people and we told the hostess we were not. Then anytime we wanted something she had to be flagged down. Never came back to see if our meals were ok. Then we waited forever to pay, got our bills and she disappeared again. Had to flag her down to process our payments. Was very disappointed and I won’t go back.

I would give above 5 star for the service and food if that was an option! Our waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable with food and drink suggestions. We enjoyed everything about our experience and will definitely be back.

Excellent food and superb service. My only complaint is that the portions are way too large! My wife and I shared the Buddha Salad and that went well (thanks to our server for recommending the share) but we should have also shared the Curry Chicken (even though we had the vegetarian option without chicken) and the dessert (white chocolate brownie). Both of these plates were excessively large. I would suggest they offer half portions as an option or warn first timers about the size of these portions. Much as I enjoyed the meal itself, the feeling of being overfull despite not touching any of the white rice on the plate and leaving more than half the desert behind frankly spoiled an otherwise lovely evening.

Overall good experience I had the steak and frites. sSteak was excellent. Cesear salad was a bit lacking on flavour. Cool venue. Was disappointed there was a private function upstairs in the lounge as we were looking forward to some live music. Had looked advance online but didn't see it blocked off as a private function.

Three people, fish tacos (2), kids burger, fish and chips, mushroom gnocchi, crème brûlée, cheesecake. Sprite, root beer and a cocktail, $167 + tip. Translated as, tortillas with slaw and a piece of deep fried fish. Kids burger with no opinion, medium piece of fish with soggy batter and burned fried. Gnocchi in Campbell’s mushroom soup. Service was great but the food is simply terrible and massively overpriced. Zero plans to return.

Our server was tremendous. She did a great job! Craig (Manager) checked on us a few times and make sure we were happy with everything. Food was great. We will be back!

Nailed the food—it was unbelievable. Portions were gigantic, thereby causing the value factor to skyrocket. Server was incredibly friendly, super knowledgeable, and the right amount of funny.

As always a terrific experience start to finish. Food is amazing, great selection and plentiful servings. The wait staff are wonderful with more than one person acknowledging us during our visit. Our server Tracy was wonderful and made several outstanding recommendations. Looking forward to a visit again in the near future.

My wife and her parents went there for Oktoberfest, specifically Jagerschnitzel. It was truly wonderful, just as I remember it from my 22 years living in Switzerland. German food without the plane ticket!!

It was our first and last visit to this establishment. The service was great, our waitress was fantastic! The food was subpar, my wife’s meal was over cooked where her chicken fingers literally crunched when see ate them. My wings were swimming in sauce, where I had to take a knife, and scrape the sauce off so I could tolerate them.

Great lunch but the fries were bland and dry. My steak and salad were excellent! The waitress was lovely and saved my meal in asking if I like Gorgonzola cheese- I hate it so it was a huge save! Beautiful presentation.

Food was great, server was friendly but perhaps not enough servers? Took 15 minutes before we the server came over which I find too long. It was chilly in there, most patrons were wearing their jackets. They finally cosed their front door about 2/3rd's of the way in. Was loud, but no louder than any other pub environment. I imagine we will be back as the food make up for the shortcomings.

We had a really wonderful time for my partners birthday. It was her first time there, and we will definitely be back. The server was fabulous as well. He made great recommendations and was very patient with us as we were taking our time between courses.

The food and service were very good. Rob was especially good. He gave us very good service and even remembered all 5 of our names. The noise level was a bit loud when we first arrived but seemed okay after awhile. I would definitely return.
