Our restaurants are upscale-casual dining destinations, designed for intimate gatherings for parties of 2 to 4. In order to seat your party comfortably, we have very limited seating accommodations for parties of 6 to 8 guests. Parties over 6 will be sat when they have completely arrived. Walk-ins are welcome for parties 8 or less. Patio space is not available for reservations.

Good place to meet friends for dinner. Nice wine selection. Planked salmon with slaw and Yukon baby spuds was very good and just the right size. A little noisy but we could still have a nice conversation without straining to hear.

If you're lucky enough to get a window seat you have a great view of the falls. The skillet biscuits are their specialty appetizer (share, they could be a meal themselves). We hade the trout & cedar plank salmon, both prepared perfectly. Staff was Polite, friendly and accommodating. Very busy night but service and kitchen were quick.

The food and service were great. Our server was nice and friendly, gave us the exact amount of attention we would want. The restaurant was very busy. We had a great table by the window, and the food was very good. The only thing that could be better is honoring the reservation. We made the reservation over a week in advance, were on time, but still had to wait with several other people whose reservations weren’t being honored on time.

Great evening. Celebrated Christmas and 2 birthdays with our Mah Jongg group🎄🎂🎂. The only negative was I indicated that I requested the birthday celebrations an our waitress was not informed. Our waitress was great👏

We came for the brunch on Sunday. The Bloody Marys were delicious and we had Eggs Benedict and the French toast both of which were delicious as well. Our server was quick and friendly. We had a table by the window and the view was lovely! We will definitely be coming back here again.

One of the best run kitchens on the East side. The food/value proposition is excellent. Dishes are generous, well prepared and tasty. Servers are knowledgeable and can provide informed pairings for wines. The deserts are all high quality and overly generous in proportions. For weekend dining I highly recommend that you plan on arriving 15-30 minutes early on a Saturday night as parking can be a challenge (even with the available valet parking.)

10/10 from being greeted by the host stand to being taken care of the moment we sat down, even the manager stopped by asking how everything was and personally thanked us for being there! Will come back again! Great atmosphere!

The food and service was outstanding first time diner at this location I had the 17 role and it was very fresh and tasty. We also tried the heavenly biscuits they were delicious.we tried the walleye dinners and the salmon salad. Everything was fantastic we will be back soon they waitress named Skyler took very good care of our party .

What a fabulous place! We were fortunate enough to get a table by the windows, overlooking the falls. It was late evening (9pm), so the restaurant was dimly lit without any natural light coming in. All the better to enjoy the Christmas lights outside around the falls. Food was DELICIOUS. The heavenly biscuits with honey butter are to die for. Highly recommend!

Definitely worth the trip -- and the area is so beautiful. Ask for a window spot, we were jealous of those folks. Most importantly, get the biscuits. They are like a dessert before dinner.

June ( I hope that is her name) was our server, she was superb. Such a great place to impress visiting guests from out of town! Food is consistently great. I love this gem in Chagrin!

We enjoy 17 River very much for lunch and dinner! The menu is extensive and well prepared and presented. The view can’t be beaten, especially at holiday time. In the evening, our favorite server is Marcie. Don’t pass up the Heavenly Biscuits!!

17 River Grille was an all-around wonderful dining experience! The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Best walleye I’ve ever had. The entire staff was pleasant and made us feel welcome and our server, Erica, was extremely delightful! She was helpful, answered our questions, made recommendations and checked on us often. We need more Ericas in customer service. Overall we totally enjoyed our visit to 17 River Grille and will definitely go again!

From the moment we walked in, we were well taken care of. Seating was prompt and comfortable. Our waiter was attentive and warm. The food was the star of the visit. Seafood was fresh and perfectly prepared. Even the fried calamari and shrimp came with veggies. The cocktail menu had some classics, but many had an inventive twist. Highly recommend!!!

For Gail's birthday, we enjoyed the view of the Falls from 17 River. It's a very nice room, and the standard is food you've seen before, seldom done as well as this.

I had the Slow Roasted Organic Amish Half Chicken whipped potatoes, natural au jus. I asked to substitute Baby Yukons with butter & parsley for the whipped potatoes but they didn't subtract the price of the whipped potatoes. I also had the Steamed Broccoli with mascarpone butter. Overall the food was excellent, the chicken moist and succulent. We had a window seat overlooking the falls that were roaring over the edge on the night we were there before a Jerry Douglas concert at the Kent Stage. I will dine there again someday.

Always a pleasure dining here. Over looking the waterfall, attentive waiter and the food is perfect every time. The braised short rib, slow roasted Amish chicken, (On Special) Chicken pot pie and sushi were all excellent. The Firer Cracker shrimp and Heavenly Biscuits are always a favorite. We will be back for sure.
