One of a handful of fine dining restaurants in El Paso with outstanding service. Food was excellent. Added bonus of the beautiful lobby bar. Interior of restaurant is beautiful, tables and booths are all intimate seating. Just all around impeccable dining experience.

The bone in rib-eye steak was perfectly cooked, tender and delicious. The bone marrow with mustard seeds was amazing as well as the truffle mac n cheese. Make sure to leave room for the baked Alaskan for dessert!

Despite the food being delicious, the service was extremely slow despite the restaurant being relatively empty. It seemed like waiters were elsewhere and we felt excluded. A table next to us was also being belligerent and rude multiple times before being escorted out. Unfortunately very doubtful that we will be returning.

Celebrate our 7th year kidney transplant Anniversary. Wife donated me a kidney, so it was a dinner for the two of us to appreciate life. Our server Andrea was spot on from the time we were seated, till complete. Thank you and we’ll be back again.

Bone in ribeye steaks were very bad. We had to return them and substitute for New York steaks. The new steaks were wonderful and much better that than the New York steaks our other companions originally ordered. This begs the question as to why we had to complain to get the quality steak we should have from the start. This is the 2nd time this has happened to us here. I truly hope the management sees this review and addresses the issues because the venue is wonderful and the service is great but if the food is subpar we’ll have to stop coming here.

I have dined here several times and have always had an incredible experience. However, last night was my anniversary with my husband and we were very disappointed. I’m not sure if they were understaffed or just having an off night. Our reservation was set for 7pm and our table wasn’t ready which was fine. They even gave us a glass of complimentary champagne to apologize. We weren’t sat until 7:25pm and then waited to order drinks until 7:40pm. The other tables in the restaurant didn’t have food and it was obvious we were going to have a bad experience. We left at 7:45pm without even having been served our first drink. We may give it another chance in a year.

Formal fine dining at its best, menu has something for everyone. Bar drinks were outstanding, calm and elegant atmosphere with no rushing whatsoever. Very unique experience, but also has a great El Paso (Southwest) flare and feel. Definitely recommended for your next (very) special occasion.

We had an excellent birthday dinner for just my wife and myself. The service is beyond compare, very attending without being overbearing. The food was amazing and the portion sizes were perfect. My wife & I decided to split the ribeye because we wanted starters and dessert. The room and architecture are beautiful, there is also an extensive wine list, sure to find something to your taste. I would highly recommend for the perfect night out downtown.

Fantastic experience! Eric (our waiter) was cordial, polished, professional and knowledgeable. The food was fabulous! The steak melted in your mouth. The biscuits were crazy good. Excellent value for what we got. I was expecting the bill to be much higher. I absolutely recommend 1700 Degrees and can't wait to go back!

Good steak. But the shrimp cocktail was awful, they lay it over sea salt and it’s just not good and presented terribly in my opinion. Baked Oysters had no taste. Should have just skipped the apps!

Very nice upscale venue with multiple settings to eat, drink, music….. definitely a place to visit for any occasion to celebrate. We ate at the 1700 restaurant then had desert at the more casual restaurant. Listened to music at the Dome Bar. Has valet parking which went very well. I will return

Service was extremely slow. Took us about 3-1/2 hours to get through dinner because service was extremely slow. Constantly asked for refills and we served our own wine. Waitress was MIA at most times. I wish we could have kept Taylor, not sure why he was switched from us.

Hands down THE BEST STEAKHOUSE in El Paso. The 1912 cocktail is delicious. The soup du jour was a miso egg drop soup that was full of flavor. We got the porterhouse and filet. Steaks perfectly seasoned and cooked correctly to our requested temperatures. Jason, our server, was the best!!

This is my second time dining at this place and it was exceptional. From the service to the food. Was with my sister and nieces who are all steak lovers and each was cooked to perfection. Will definitely make it a point to eat here when I am in town.
