Excellent vibe. Excellent quality of food & service. Excellent prices
Went to 1741 Grill for lunch. Really enjoyed it. The location is great- overlooking the golf course. Food was excellent. I had the Lyman homemade hummus, creamy and tasty with a little hint of lemon. My friend had the chicken wrap and commented about the amount and quality of chicken in it. We plan to go again soon.
Service was great - very friendly and attentive. Food was very good - we had burger, BLT and salad with chicken. The salad had a really nice cranberry dressing a goat cheese. It was all very good. I would definitely recommend for a casual meal. Yay to the staff for making our visit memorable.
We didn't know what to expect when we saw 1741 on TV. We had great burgers there!! The staff were extremely friendly and pleasant. We enjoyed our evening.
Great service and good food.
It was good, I just don’t know if 100 dollars good for brunch for 4. Yes we got drinks but I feel like 16 is too much for pancakes even if it comes with bacon and potatoes. None of us liked the potatoes. Very soggy. However service was very nice, other than potatoes everything was tasty and they accommodated rushing my 1 year olds food. Would we go back? Probably but maybe for lunch which is what I had prior to today.
Missing some items of our meals, waitress was pretty absent, food was good though.
Always good food and service. Great drinks as well!
This is a place we have ordered takeout from many times and it was always ready hot and good. Not our experience this evening for a sit down for my birthday. Had made reservation with open table and said it was birthday. showed up little early - very busy with many large parties. Was greeted about 5-10 min after arriving and told our table was not ready yet, we would need to wait for tables to be cleared. seated a little late, which with all the tables to be cleared and how busy things were was understandable. Did ask if we could be seated away from band as it was very loud, but that was not able to be accommodated, as the tables further away were for “larger parties”. Waited a while (5 min or so) for waiter to come, and ordered appetizer water and drinks and said we would like to wait until after drinks to order dinner. Waiter came back with appetizer no water or drinks and asked if we were ready to order dinner - we reiterated we wanted to wait until after we had ourdrinks. Waiter left and spent time at other tables, and went behind bar and got drinks for the other tables. we tried the app and the cheese sauce on the chips was cold - and still no water or ordered drinks. tried to get waiter’s attention - which did not happen - busy talking and working with other tables - tried to signal hostess a number of times , but it was not until 10 min later (total 20 - 25 min at table to this point still no water or drinks) until we stood up and put on our jackets and started to walk to hostess station and door did the hostess see us and came over to ask what was up - explained what happened - she asked who was our waiter and we were told “not usually this way”. Hostess left to “find him” and after a couple of minutes we left.
It was a beautiful fall day so both the golf course and the Apple Orchard were mobbed. As a result, the service was very slow. They told us up front that it would be 30-45 minutes for our lunches to come out and it was just about 45min. The staff was very friendly and I think it would have been a much better experience under normal circumstances.
A great place for a lunch with friends on a nice day outside.
I continue to come back to 1741 because of the location and the potential but there is always one or two things that go wrong that unfortunately separate it from being amazing. This time the service was great from Josh, had the brussels, chicken fingers and the chicken salad. Everything was solid, not the best I ever had but nothing to complain about…would definitely have the brussel sprouts again. The one complaint was the amount of flies and fruit flies. I understand it’s a golf course bar but there has to be something that can be done. Multiple tables were swatting at the flies…extremely distracting and disgusting. Semi ruined the special meal I was having with my son. I’m sure I will come back and hopefully next time there aren’t so many flying visitors to my food.
Had lunch with my brother in law and his wife. Our anniversary is a couple of weeks apart.
The view of the golf course and hills was beautiful.
Food was delicious.
Being a local and hearing about this restaurant my fiancé and I were excited to try it out. We arrived without reservations around 6:30pm on 10/1/21 and were greeted by the hostess Carol. Carol informed us along with the party of 5 behind us without reservations that it was reservation only. While leaving, I logged onto OpenTable and saw 4 open reservations so we booked the first available spot for 7pm. After waiting 20-25 minutes we walked back in with our reservations. Carol once again greeted us but was confused on how we made the reservations and rudely told us she would not be able to seat us. However, sitting right in front of us, being served drinks was the party of 5 that stood behind us in line without reservations. I asked Carol how she was able to seat a party of 5 without reservations but was unable to sit the party of 2 in front of them to which she immediately froze unknowing what to say. To say we left disappointed is an understatement and it is unfortunate to think we were only looked at in a monetary way.
After apple and peach picking, we were thrilled to dine at the 1741 Pub & Grill. We all agreed our meals were delicious, from the very generous and tasty portions of brussels sprouts to the huge and yummy Caesar salad and our burgers and sandwiches. I highly recommend the BLT...best one I've ever had! We will definitely return!
We came to 1741 Pub for a casual meeting and nice shared lunch for our staff. It fit the bill in every way. Food was very good- service was perfect and appropriately attentive and the setting was great. We will all be back. TY
Always excellent food and drinks. View is also stunning!
Had the pretzel with cheese dip with my toddler and we both love it, have had it multiple times. Tried the 'nachos' which are with potato chips and not normal nacho chips...not my favorite, fun change of pace but not sure I would go back.
The only other 'complaint' and I think it's more cause of the pandemic but service was slow again...hope servers can get back to work and help out these small business.
The food was amazing!! There was live music so while it was loud, we could still have a conversation without yelling. We will definitely be coming back
I received a message from open table saying that I did not show to the dinner. We went to the restaurant early and we had a great experience. I also changed the number from 4 to 2 guests . No sure why it did not go through. Please make sure this is reflected on my account.
Enjoyed lunch on the patio overlooking the golf course. Worth a visit.
Great food and atmosphere 😊 We will be going back again soon!
Great service, great food !
The view was great. We sat outside and had a great view and terrific weather. The food was delicious and the service was very attentive
It was an awesome time! The staff is SO friendly and fun! Felt very welcomed even though it was our first time going! Definitely coming back often
Great food, staff and atmosphere! Will definitely return. Wish the weather was better so we could have sat outside and watched the golfers ! Great musician playing also.
We went for a trivia night and it was a blast. Energy was great and food was perfect for family.
Should have reduced price for under 4. Paid 19.95 for granddaughter who did not eat from buffet,, then 4:99 more for an order of fries. Also dessert and coffee included. Selection was a little la king.
Mixed feelings on this one. The food was good. The inside atmosphere was loud. It took about 25 minutes before our server realized we had not ordered / no one had stopped at our table yet; our server was friendly and apologetic and got our order out fast. The hostess asked us to leave exactly at the 90-minute mark (from our reservation time) because our table was booked for an incoming party. We hadn't even gotten the check. Overall, I would not hurry to go back.
Good tavern food! Friendly staff and the waitress was personable and attentive. We had reserved a table for inside, but it was bingo night. The noice was deafening because the speakers for the miked caller were turned up so loud. I guess I would have liked to have known it was bingo night. Luckily, they had a table on the patio. The view was awesome. Desserts also great. We would like to go back for a brunch, probably eating outside. I would like to think that the Sunday brunch would not feature a bingo game if we gamble on eating inside.
Both the food and the service were very good. We sat on the patio outside with a view of the golf course near the 18th green. Great location. We would definately go back.
Great food, great view and the wait staff was super nice! I would go again and again!!
Very nice, great view, plenty of food and had a pleasant staff
Had a great seat, meal and enjoyed. Would recommend
Service was great. Emma was friendly
Music was great. Would definitely go back.
Service was terrible. Took server 9 minutes to greet us and take our drink order. Then another 7 minutes to serve our drinks. So that is almost 20 min of waiting for our drinks. When we ordered our food, she came back after 5 minutes and asked for our order again because she forgot. She may have been new but it seemed like all of the servers were a bit lost and not on top of things. The table next to us got the wrong order and had to wait a long time for it to be rectified. i felt terrible for them. The other table was complaining about things being done in a timely manner as well. Food was great, needs some work on staff. Not sure we will return.
Waitstaff never checked back to see how good was.just when time for check
First time getting together with family since Covid. The noise level was absolutely too loud for a piano brunch. We came specifically to hear the piano player and I asked to be seated next to the piano player and the hostess told us their were no spaces near him even though I’d made a reservation. We were seated as far away from piano as possible and couldn’t hear him at all. I actually felt bad for the pianist that it was that noisy. Maybe not the atmosphere for piano player? I could t even hear my Mother in law who I hadn’t seen in a year and a half and flew in to see us since Covid. Service was slow. Food took awhile to come and we finished eating and sat waiting for our check. I did like my bacon burger and the truffle fries though so the food was good and cooked how I’d asked.
Primarily a golfers spot after playing eighteen holes, but nice indoor facility and outdoor patio with beautiful views of the course. Quality pub food. Unfortunately lawn mowing and blowing during a good chunk of our meal made it very loud and even blew grass onto our table as the lawn mowers swept by. Would recommend asking about that before you decide to sit outside (which we requested and preferred). Service was great.
