   The food and service were wonderful. We enjoyed our New Year’s Eve dinner here. Highly recommend the vegetarian pasta and the ginger cake.

   Great service! Menu limited and didn't offer what you see from online menu pics. On the pricey side for amount of food. But brioche bun and pizza were tasty!

   It was fine. Menu limited. Drinks menu confusing. Only wine by the bottle, but we did see people being served glasses after we had ordered our bottle. Had to ask about beer and the server was unsure , but did bring a sample.

   First time here. Food was awesome including presentation. Peppermint cheesecake -OMG. Chef Kenny and the rest of the team made our dining experience absolutely fantastic! Weve already booked again. This restaurant is not to be missed!

   The best thing for dinner was the brioche bread. The pear salad although tasty, needed some greens to go with it, it was too heavy as a salad, half the pears with greens underneath would have been lovely. Too much for one person. The black cod was way too spicy. The duck although tasty was a bit tough because of the large pieces. Could have used some potatoes with it. The peppermint chocolate cheesecake had a super thick ganache on top that was impossible to put a fork through to get to the lovely cheesecake underneath, the peppermint was in the cookie crumble surrounding it, not actually in the cheesecake, would have been better in the cheesecake. Won’t be in a hurry to go back here.

   There was no problem with the service or ambience but when i eat out my expectation is to receive good food. It was terrible honestly sorry to say. Raviolo was like baby food, calamari was undercooked & tasteless altho sauce was ok, trout was ok but sauce was waaaay to oily and overly spicy to point of coughing when trying to eat it, truffle carbonara was undercooked and had nothing on it but the truffle oil and a couple bits of bacon? Bored after 3 bites. First and last time eating there sorry.

    David, our server, was charming, knowledgeable and responsive. Food quality, taste and presentation were 5 star, just the options were a bit limited. I didn't see any "gluten friendly" options but I didn't ask so maybe there are a few items. To find the restaurant, go down the stairs to the watersedge. The atmosphere is lovely!

    Great view. The restaurant sits right on the water. Our server Niaomi was fantastic! She remembered us from last year when we visited Tofino. Due to staffing shortage they were only doing beer and wine drinks. Niaomi offered to make us negroni cocktails which were amazing! We shared the ling cod which was super good. We also had the fungi pizza which was ok.

    We both had the ling cod dish with radishes and onions based on a recommendation from friends. A great choice. Service was excellent and table was perfect. Will be high on our list for the next time we visit Tofino.

    No pizza though there is a pizza oven. Whst? Brussels Caesar in a pool of dressing. Burger underwhelming and boring. Too bad. Used to really look forward to pizza here.

    Went for breakfast with friends. Seated quickly, received drinks quickly, took quite a while for meals to arrive. The food was very good, generous portions, served hot. Waitstaff very friendly. Nice location on the waterfront.

    My Rib - Eye was good for $50.00 however it was just meat and potatoes essentially. Overall the Menu was very limited and the waiter shared they are going in a different dIrection? Place was busy so obviously have a following but given the price and size of menu items value did not equate to price and overall it left us wanting. The venue had been nicely renovated since we were here prior to COVID.

    Beautiful restaurant with an amazing view. Unfortunately, the food was just ok. The menu is really small and expensive. We took a side cesar salad with no dressing $21, side potatoes $15 (undercooked). We were super disappointed. The waitress was super nice but she had too many tables to deal so we had to wait 1h25min to get our dinner... I will recommend this place just for a drink.

    The food tastes great, it was just richer than my husband and I would like. We had the gnocchis and the salmon and both were covered with sauce. The cauliflower was delightful. Would have loved the salmon with less sauce or more on the side, and the gnocchis would have been better with less mushroom sauce all over, just overpowering. Our waiter Charlie was outstanding, very knowledgeable about both the food and the wine list.

    We had a great evening at 1909. The food was excellent and very unique and fresh. The staff were friendly And the manager Charlie helped us get the best table on the deck with an incredible view. The deck has a great vibe especially on a sunny afternoon / early evening. Highly recommend this restaurant. Amazing location.

    Restaurant cancelled our anniversary reservation and didn't even tell us. We showed up at the restaurant and they had the band tell us that there are kitchen issues and the restaurant would be closed for the evening.

    Nice dockside setting with great views. Order 5 dishes to share for 4 people (Swimming Scallops, Halibut with squash, Prosciutto Focaccia, Fired Cauliflower and the Summer Salad). All selections were very tasty with exception of the Summer Salad. It seemed to lack much flavor. Also, the bottom crust of the Focaccia was a bit hard and difficult to cut with a regular knife. We had to ask for a steak knife to cut pieces to share. Service was good for the most part. Our only negative of our dinner was lack of utensils for sharing. If your menu consists of mostly share plate, the table needs more than the individual settings for each diner.

    Great views and service but limited gluten free options. If they had the granola marked gf on the menu it would be good and it would make a big difference if they had a separate fryer for gf items or an alternative.
