There was a rat in the restaurant so we had to take our food to go. The restaurant forgot to pack one of the dishes as well.
The menu online did not match the dinner menu that evening.
Nice dishes with friendly and effective service. Enjoyable experience here.
Enjoyed the comfortable seating outside with the heaters nearby to take the chill off the air. Our waiter was very attentive. We all enjoyed our meals, which we thought reasonably priced. Haven’t been to the bistro for a while and thought the new indoor seating was a big improvement. Glad it has also changed from cafeteria service to table service. Big improvement!
We had excellent service from our server. The food is good and the oysters are just simply fabulous.
Friendly staff who accommodated our party as the three of us arrived at different times. Delicious Food.
Lovely relaxed and excellent service and food.real hidden gem
We sat outside and there were MICE EVERYWHERE! We sat with our feet up and quickly ate an appetizer and glass of wine and then rushed out of there. I have perviously been for lunch and had a great experience, I'm not sure what happened.
The buck a shuck is awesome but try their Foie Gras as well, it's fantastic!
Love the happy hour!
The charcuterie board was fantastic!
Pretty place. I thought food was pretty tasty. A little on the pricier side but I was fine with that. Service could be better. She wasn’t friendly. She took our order and dropped by once the food was here to ask if the food was okay. Never asked if we wanted refills on drinks/water or offer us the dessert menu. No thank yous or enjoy your meal etc. Wouldn’t come back.
The only thing I would have liked was that there was more shrimp and perhaps not quite as mushy . Great flavour abd beauyptrsentation. The champagne was excellent. I look forward to the day when you possibly offer Crystal ? Bon appetit will see you again soon . Best regards.
Always the best food, service and ambience.
It is a place that never disappoints.
My only complain: they removed the delicious Duck breast from the menu! Please, bring it back!
Awesome place! We went for happy hour and it was a wonderful experience. Friendly and fast service, tasty food and an unbeatable patio.
Great Happy Hour selection. Oysters a buck a shuck and get the additional condiments, it’s worth it and it elevates your oyster eating experience. Best Chocolate Ganache dessert ever!!!
The food was amazing with amazing service. Very reasonable priced as well.
There were a lot of mice in the restaurant, we saw a few in while we were waiting for our food. When we told the staff they said they were aware about it already, needless to say we didn't even ended up eating there and just left
I enjoyed everything we had not the biggest fan of the cauliflower. Loved the bison sliders and tacos
It was a lovely afternoon to sit on the patio, the ambience was enjoyable, the wine and snacks were delicious. I’ve already booked another reservation there for next week.
The gallery restaurant music used to be so pleasant, beautifully chosen classical. The
pop/jazz choices now were occasionally ok but mostly too loud. My quiche and salad were great but my companion's bison burger was seriously undercooked and raw in the middle.
The music was very loud. That, combined with the regular restaurant noise, made it difficult to have conversation. The food and service were fine.
Great selection of cocktails and food for the perfect date, celebration or after work dining. The outdoor patio is great for eye catching views of the downtown core. Highly recommended.
We arrived for dinner with friends at 5:45. Our waitress informed us of the happy hour 1/2 price bottles of wine and discounted appetizers. We ended up just enjoying the appies and never ordered dinner! A great space. Nice service. Just a limited dinner menu of either salmon or lamb. We’ll be back!
There were mice on the patio
Place is great, food is creative and tasty. Noise from the Robson square sometimes can be too much if you stay outside.
Mice and rats all over the patio areas
Always a great, whether you sit inside or outside.
The food felt overpriced
Two of my party arrived a bit early and were told by the hostess that they could be seated at the table but the 2.5 hour booking would begin then, so they sat at the bar for a drink instead while waiting for the rest of the party. When the others arrived, it was still a bit early but we asked if we could be seated then since the offer of an early table had already been given. The hostess talked over us and interrupted before we could get a sentence out and said the table is not ready and told the others they needed to move because they were in the way of others. Everyone then sat at the bar while we waited for our table, which we could see and it was empty and was set up. Once seated, we ordered an expensive bottle of red wine, which was dripped all over the table by the server and poured unevenly into our glasses. When we ordered, we were told one of the items was unavailable and they had run out (it was 5:30 and only the start of the dinner service) so we ordered another item. 30 minutes later, the table next to us was served that exact item we had tried to order and was told they had run out. We had also booked this as a birthday event and we weren’t even offered a dessert menu.
Very disappointing experience and will not be back.
Overall the experience was great. Amazing drinks, good food, fast service, and a cozy ambiance. The only turn off being there were little mice running around everywhere and unfortunately not enough seating options to move/ change tables.
Awesome ambiance! Would definitely recommend for any occasion.
It was a nice restaurant to meet a friend and have lunch on the patio.
We had a lovely time. It was nice to dine downtown. The service was very good and our waiter was very friendly. Some vegetarian selection.
A wonderful addition to the Vancouver Art Gallery. My personal suggestion would be to have art displayed in the space to compliment the exhibitions in the gallery. D.
The pineapple poke is really good. I really enjoy it. The service was friendly and attentive. Super chill ambience to have a drink after work. Definitely coming back. :)
