   Service, as always, was outstanding. Tasting menu, not so much...Jumbo Lump crab accompaniments were tasty, but the crab lacked flavor and delicacy -- most likely not domestic. Raviolo were interesting -- the goat cheese was exceptional. Fish courses were quite nice, but...Lamb was also nice, but did not shatter the world. Desserts, as always, rocked the world.

   The three course prix fixe dinner is a good selection . It has sufficient and varied options to have a real choice. Wine options that are "house-selected' are excellent as well. The setting for this restaurant is beautiful; service and food excellent.

   Exceeded expectations! We were party of nine celebrating college graduation. Service was friendly and impeccable. Menu header had a “congratulations on your graduation” on the header and a special “rolled diploma” presentation of the menu for the graduate. Food was excellent- duck, scallops, steak tartare get special notice. Ambiance is beautiful. Wows from the whole family for the entire experience. So glad we went. Highly recommended.

   2941 has for a long time been our special occasion restaurant, as it was for my husband's 75th birthday gathering. The food was excellent, as always, and they also brought out a surprise birthday dessert for him. From prosecco toast through appetizers, main course with perfect wine pairing, to dessert, everything was delicious. The sommelier and entire wait staff were delightful. Here's to our next occasion, 2941 - cheers to this excellent restaurant!

   Poor experience from parking to food and service. Returned after more than 10 years away from the area and could not have been more surprised at the overall decline in the restaurant.

   Outstanding service. Great food and personal attention to the needs of diners. We were celebrating my daughter’s graduation and the restaurant had a typed menu that said Congratulations on your graduation, then gave us the menu to keep as a souvenir rolled up like a diploma. Also gave my daughter a dessert with congratulations written on the plate in chocolate. The outside is also amazing for pictures. Can’t wait to go back

   2941 is the place my wife and I go for special occasions or when we just want to splurge on a great meal and excellent service. The dining room is spacious but they’ve done a good job of creating an inviting and space with a feeling of intimacy.

    2941 had a perfect Mother's day special menu. My wife and I each had a different dish for each of the three courses, and all were uniformity delicious. The ambience is simply one of the best - we sat in the Bar overlooking the fish pond. Simply beautiful.

    The food was great on Mother's Day. The service was congenial and helpful. I have a severe spinal condition and the young lady who minded our table even helped me to traverse the room. We always enjoy our time at 2941.

    2941 is no longer the resultant or used to be. The food served on Pre-fez mothers day menus was all seemingly prepared ahead, many if not all entrees way too salty. Servers are tired and do not come around after taking order. Have been a long time fan to 2941, eager to some with family, friends, personal and business; but no longer. I can no longer recommend this restaurant.

    I really wanted to like this place for Mothers Day. The prix fix was high at $110 for three dishes. I was a bit underwhelmed by the chicken and lobster and the dessert. Chicken breast for instance perfectly cooked with crispy skin, but had no flavor. Ponzu hamachi was quite good. Excellent service and atmosphere. The food was just a dull in flavor, but nicely cooked.

    Been there a few times. Waitress kept reaching over to take things off the table. Our waiter didn’t know about one of the courses on the chefs tasting and had to go and ask someone else.

    A very reliable tasting experience since we’ve eaten here multiple times throughout the year that changes with the seasons. The wine parings are fun and are always a wonderful compliment to the food that also changes with the seasonality of the food.

    We had the chef's menu with the wine pairing option. The food was great, the service impeccable, and the sommelier was excellent in explaining the wines he served and the rationale for the pairing. The wine samples were surprisingly generous.

    We were there last night, celebrating my husband’s birthday. The service was fabulous and the food always incredible. 2941 is a true gem in the northern Virginia area. Thank you for always being so welcoming and consistent.

    Love the space and surrounding grounds. The dining room is loud and for a large table a little hard to hear everyone with the soaring ceilings. Decor seems a tad outdated. Food was presented beautifully, but was a little salty. Didn’t love the desert options.

    The food was beautifully served and generally delicious. the sauce and the main ingredient were at times "adventurous" in the five course tasting menu. I would not say bad, just different, and a little out of synch with the other dishes. Overall, really nice, and they tried very very hard. The wine pairings were outstanding.

    We have been in this restaurant a few times, usually for celebrations and anniversaries. This time it was a celebration of a group of 5 friends. We enjoyed our time together and the food was decent. On the plus side, the staff was super amazing. We also like the restaurant ambience. The only thing is that the food however good, did not achieve the 5 start top rating this time. I was underwhelmed by the creativity of the flavors this time around... My group agreed as we all do a lot of fine dining. Will go back one more time in the future, as this could have been a off day, but it the cuisine is does impress me the next time, it will probably be the last time I eat there.

    We had such a great experience! The setting is just beautiful and the decor inside is interesting and attractive. It was not too loud to have a conversation. The service was attentive and pleasant. Food was delicious! We would absolutely come back!

    We've dined here several times and its always a pleasure. Service is excellent. We did the tasting menu and the first three dishes (scallop, tortolloni, and halibut) were outstanding. The beef and lobster dish was good, but the lobster was drowned out by the sauce and the beef was also better on its own. The desserts were fine, but not as impressive as the other dishes.

    Came here for our 19th anniversary. Excellent food in a wonderful dining setting. Try to get a window seat if you choose to dine here. We each did the chef’s tasting menu with the wine pairing. Excellent.
