Themed after the winningest coach in NFL history, Coach Don Shula, Shula's 347 Grill is conveniently located in Downtown Tallahassee’s Hotel Duval. Shula's 347 Grill's menu features everything from gourmet salads to fresh specialty fish, and exclusively serves Premium Black Angus Beef Burgers and the best beef money can buy, the Shula Cut steaks.

    There were a total of three guests at our table including myself. We began with a shrimp cocktail. There were only 4 shrimp on the plate but good. I think 6 would have been more appropriate for the price. We ordered martinis with our appetizer. The three of us shared the 22.5 Oz dry aged tomahawk ribeye@$130, mushrooms, asparagus, baked potato, and three dinner salads. We ordered a bottle of Brunello Italian red wine@$130. The steak was very underwhelming. We ordered three desserts, coffees, and after dinner drinks. When we received our bill, there was an $89 gratuity already added to our bill. The total check was $569 and some change. Service was good but I did not appreciate the gratuity automatically added to our bill for a party of three! I would have probably tipped more but that was very tacky! I did not like that at all. The food could have been better as well. It was disappointing.

    Excellent meal as always! Greg was our waiter (we always ask for him because he's so good). We started with the New Orleans BBQ shrimp. They brought extra bread for sopping up the juices from the appetizer (yum!). We ordered the fillet medallions and a ribeye steak. Both came with sides, no need to order sides for sharing. Greg helped us navigate the extensive wine list. The wine we selected was really good.

    My wife thought her filet was as good or better than she has ever had. My pork chop was excellent, as was the “smashed” potatoes and grilled asparagus. Flan was just ok.

    Out of NY Strip steak. No specials. Steak tip appetizer over-seasoned. Service unimpressive. Definitely did not get the value for the cost. Likely will not return.

    Arrived on time for our 9:15 PM Friday night dinner reservation following my daughters graduation from FSU. Upon being escorted to our table, the hostess with a major attitude, rudely denied our request to sit at the empty booth, claiming it was reserved for another expected party (whom, of course, never showed and not long after we sat, the party that was in the other booth left). Our waiter was a “dear” and was very prompt and attentive (He is the only reason I gave 2 stars on the service). I would give the waiter a 5 BUT a big fat ZERO to the hostess. The seafood bisque was terrible (spicy with no meat). My son ordered the Cowboy Ribeye for $150 and was a bit disappointed (he’s had better for less). Anyhow, our bill was $500+. Word to the hostess- if a customer comes in and asks to be seated at a table that is empty - say “yes most certainly” and accommodate their request- They were the first to arrive. “A bird in hand is worth more than two in a bush”.

    So server was pleasant. Tried fried ravioli app which was basically mozzarella sticks of a different shape with no sauce. Scallops app was tasty but like warm at best. Ahi tartare app was excellent! We were then served 3 pieces of bread for a table of 4 people? Shula’s filet was cooked properly and very tender, but really lacked flavor or seasoning. Steak sauce on table saved it, but really should not need it at a top flight steakhouse. Fried brownie dessert was ok at best. Unfortunately a disappointment for an expensive meal.

    Jenna was an amazing server. Since I have Celiac it’s difficult to eat out. The staff is always knowledgeable about my dietary restrictions so I feel extra comfortable eating here. Their Crème Brûlée for dessert is INCREDIBLE!

    Greg our server was fantastic. He made my wife and I feel like we were the most important people in the restaurant. Very engaging and knowledgeable. The food was as good as the service. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. The crab cake appetizer is a must have. Highly recommend.

    Way overpriced for the quality of food. Ribeye was a little tough and cooked closer to medium-well than the medium that was ordered. Appetizers we decent, but not great. Taco stand chips with the spinach dip are fine for a pub restaurant. Desserts were OK as well, but again, nothing great. Carrot cake was dry, fried chocolate brownie cake was a 6 out of 10, but the key lime pie was quite good. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I would put 347 Grille in the mid-tier for steak houses.

    Outstanding restaurant for a nice meal or special occasion. Food was very good and well prepared. Service was good as well and wait staff was very attentive. The memorabilia from Coach Shula and FSU/Tallahassee made the atmosphere seem like a wonderful 1950’s high class establishment.

    Delicious food! The filet was tender and very flavorful. I was very surprised by the quality of the grouper, Brussel sprouts, and smashed potatoes! Excellent taste and service.

    The 347 Grille was an excellent dining experience. My girl and I had a pleasant afternoon accompanied by delicious, well balanced drinks and some of the best bread served. Their steaks were outstanding! Perfectly cooked with no complaints. The sides were delicious! Would go again and again. My girl was specifically excited about eating at one of Coach Shula’s restaurant and it did not disappoint! The environment was lovely and set the mood perfectly. She absolutely loved the acoustic version of ‘Smooth Operator’ played overhead. Our waiter was phenomenal and funny. He also was the bartender and kudos to his drinks!

    Our waitress Nancy was amazing! My partner and i celebrated our 18 year anniversary last night! We felt so special and were so pleased with the service! We will definitely be back! They give a complimentary dessert for anniversaries! That was a nice touch!

    We were celebrating our anniversary. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the hostess who wished us a Happy Anniversary. We were seated immediately ( our table had a Happy Anniversary plaque on the table)and a server appeared quickly, wished us happy anniversary, and took our drink and appetizer orders. He explained the specials and returned shortly with our drinks and another server brought us our appetizer, delicious calamari. We placed our orders and the ribeye and filet were delivered within a short time-cooked to the perfect temperature. For dessert we had the key lime pie and seven layer chocolate cake-both were so rich and delicious. The Manager came by to wish us a happy anniversary as did several other staff and even a number of other customers. As always, Shula's 347 Grille was excellent in all areas. The only concern was $8 for valet parking-especially since our car parked approximately 150 feet from the entrance. Not sure this is Shula's fault as there is an outside company handling the valet service. Will go again for sure, as we have in the past.

    Extremely friendly and engaging wait staff. Thank you Greg for making it special. Pricy as expected but best filet and crab cake we have had anywhere. Atmosphere was average, but it does advertise as a “grill”.

    Steak was good but the atmosphere here is awful. There are no windows and it's just weird. Very small bar. I go back every 2 years thinking it may have changed, but it doesn't. Not returning
