   We started with a microwave crawfish dip. That a 10 yr old could have made. It was cream cheese and crawfish tails. What we didn’t eat the Gnats did. They were every place. I had the lamb shank and my guy has the drum fish. The fish was the only items prepared for us. Everything else was reheated. the brussels sprouts were decent. The only thing we ate all of was the deserts. Skip this place at all coat.

   Hosted a group of 6 for dinner. We were seated promptly. There were very few in the restaurant. Our drinks were good and the appetizers delicious. Our mains were all so so to not edible. The service was a bit slow. I was very surprised because the reviews of this restaurant were so good. Our experience was very disappointing.

    This restaurant has nice decor, but the tables & chairs are a bit lackluster. Adding some table clothes would give it a more finished feel. The food was average, which is really doesn’t compete with the many restaurants that have 5-star food. My husband had the burger that was served on a cold bun. I had a salad that was good, but average. Our server was very nice. Staffing was short, so our cocktails took a long time to arrive. But, finally made it at the same time as the entrees. The drinks were very good and had a nice presentation. Although this restaurant has a lot of potential, it doesn’t quite meet the mark.

    Pretty slow service and inefficient staff yet the food and drinks were excellent. Restaurant not busy and tables weren’t cleaned or bussed after patrons left. So it looked messy.

    Our group of 4 got there on a Saturday night at 8:00. It wasn’t too busy. The place itself has a cool, modern vibe, dark, good for dinner. The cocktails were on point (the Southern Belle is surprisingly good!) and the food was quite good as well. One person got the lamb, one the gumbo, one the fish, and one a Cobb salad. All EXCELLENT. We also got the cheese plate as an appetizer. Very good as well! What was a shame was that the quality of service didn’t match the quality of food and drink. The place wasn’t that busy, but we were left for long bouts of time unattended, water glasses stayed empty and our table was NEVER cleared. We ordered another round of drinks after our appetizer only for them to arrive after our dinner. At that point we had 4 empty water glasses, 4 empty drink glasses, the cheese platter, all of our dinner plates, along with plates that housed sides of Brussels sprouts and fries (also excellent). It was difficult to find a place to put another 4 glasses and the fullness of the table was quite distracting. I do hope the wait staff gets a bit more training because once the quality of service matches the quality of food and drink, this place is going to take off!!!

    Our table was ready for us when we arrived and the host took us right to the table (he was lovely and doing a great job on crutches). Our friendly server greeted us and brought us cocktails when ordered. The sazerac was delicious! We ordered the muffaleta salad it it too was a healthy take on the traditional sandwich. The chicken gumbo was not so satisfying with potato salad instead of rice and very little chicken - maybe 2 ounces in the entire dish. The bread pudding was a nice end to the meal.

    The room was VERY noisy. Tables were not cleaned before inviting guests to sit down. Our selection of tapas-style starters was hit or miss. Some good, others less so. The boudin was particularly forgettable. Considering we ordered shotgun style, the delivery of dishes was slower than expected and some plates were already cooled off.

    My wife and I enjoyed the Legs and Eggs Sunday Brunch at 3rd Block Kitchen and Bar. Hats of to our server Chris, and the entertainment was terrific - thank you Bella! The food was amazing. Enjoyed a cool take on the classic muffuletta/ made as a salad, and the Boudin Benedict. It was out of this world. Really grateful for the experience and highly recommend.
