   Food was pretty good. Prices were great. Staff was very kind, but not very attentive. When you had their attention, outstanding. Prices are super reasonable. The Pesto Cavatappi was a hit with the kids. Burgers were above average.

   I may try once more but value wise it was very hard to justify $15 for 2 eggs, bacon, toast and potatoes when almost anywhere else nearby is between $8-11.

   5 Points Diner & BarResponded on August 8, 2022Hey Steve, I just wanted to reach out and say I'm sorry that you didn't feel the value for your meal. Which did you order? I don't have anything on the menu at $15-there's the Eastside that sounds like what you're describing, and it is, right at your price point of $11. The scrambles are $14, and they're a higher price point because of the avocado in them. My only other guess is maybe you got the Eastside and added a side of hash? Let me know how we can be better.

   It was decent but get like it should be a bit better for the money. Needs more variety and definitely more vegetarian friendly options. I know they are newish so I am sure they are working on it. Will try again.

   Excellent food, highly recommend the burger and Trio fries. The frozen Arnold Palmer was so good. The staff, so kind, friendly and welcoming!! What a great new establishment we gained.

    Food was very good . Service was friendly but slow and disjointed. Pricing was inconsistent. Highly recommend the salmon. Brussels sprouts are my favorite veggie and these were good but a little undercooked.

    Our server was super attentive and sweet, plus the bartender totally nailed it when I asked for a "light and bright" mocktail. The food was only okay — the coating on the fried pickles was a little heavy/chewy, the "potstickers" were steamed or boiled with exactly zero browning and were served with Mae Ploy (did they make any of that dish in house?? I think no), and the fries were only okay. My buddies seemed to like their meatloaf, and the pricing was pretty reasonable, but with so much tasty stuff in 5 points, the only thing that would get me back in there is the promise of a drag brunch.

We are sorry our pot stickers were not to your liking, they are traditionally steamed in a special steam oven. Our fried pickles are hand breaded and fried in house, we will share your review with the chef's. Our mozzarella wedges, goat cheese tartlets and deviled eggs are also prepared in house by our chef's and we hope you will give them a try. We do DRAG BRUNCH on the second Saturday of every month, so come on back and Brunch with us soon!

    Sadly disappointed. The food was overpriced and not original, even though the menu looked promising. The taste of the food was not fresh and the atmosphere was more of a bar than a restaurant.

We feel our menu represents one of the best values in the area and think you would be challenged to get a full, chef prepared meal with sides AND a glass of nice wine for $20 anywhere in our local area! Oh, and that glass of wine will be served in a Reidel glass at the perfect temperature! We proudly are a unique combination of a local full service restaurant with a fantastic bar experience and we get more festive as the night progresses. Come back and see us soon!

    Food was tasty and all four meals arrived hot. I ordered a salad and chicken tenders and would have preferred salad first, but it all came together. Still delicious and I'll know to specify next time. Our server was new, and brought us everything we asked for, but I love it when they notice or ask intuitively. Takes time and experience

    The house bloody mary was excellent! All the food was excellent (especially the burger). There was a DJ which was nice, and we saw tons of neighbors and friends dining when we were there. We'll definitely go back, hopefully repeatedly. Thrilled to have another great locally owned restaurant in 5 points!

    I regret to share that my first 5 Points Diner experience was a complete miss. My group was excited about the idea of a new diner in East Nashville for brunch and we even made reservations well in advance, but on our first visit we were greeted with unexplainably bad service. We sat with no drinks or empty drinks for most of brunch, and our food was late because the order was never sent back to the kitchen. In addition, the second round of drink orders were taken incorrectly by the server. To top it off, there with no visible leadership from anyone on the staff as a growing number of tables seemed restless without drinks or food. Great service and flowing drinks are a key part of the brunch experience so the search continues for a new East Nashville brunch spot.
