   Today they had a "glitch" and every order but ours made it in in a timely manner and then after over an hour our food came out. Our server lied to us about what had happened and it took a manager to be honest. In addition to the ridiculous wait and no clear communication until I sought out a manager, the menu is not accurate. They have a classic croque madame which comes with a bechamel sauce. The menu does not note that there is truffle oil in the bechamel. I don't have a severe allergy but it does turn my stomach and cause digestive issues for a few days when I eat even a small amount. I was whammied and luckily could tell in the first small bite. They said oh yeah it is in the bechamel and we can make one without the sauce, then it is just a dry sandwich and truffle in the bechamel is not classic or normal. They substituted another item and did not charge me for it which was nice. I do ask and put it here hoping it helps encourage them to do so, that they list important items like truffle oil for all items on the menu. I avoided other items because it was listed and would not have taken the chance on the croque madame if it was labeled correctly. Please update your menu immediately. Lucky I dont have a severe allergy. So not currently a fan of this place. The decor was cute but way too loud inside as well.

   The ambiance and vibe of 5Church is excellent. Loved having the option of outdoor dining and something more intimate indoors. Only drank - drinks were great, service was eh. Rooftop is amazing. Would definitely come back.

    It was shocking how expensive the food was for the quality. I ordered a charcuterie board and it had actual lunch meat on it. Do you remember that square lunch meat that had olives and fat inside of it? Pickleloaf? It was on our board. I ordered my steak medium rare and it came out medium well - well done with a side of hungry Jack instant mashed potatoes. My girlfriend ordered scallops and 4 came out with no side. Now the flat bread was really good! The drinks were strong. Overall. If I ever go back, it will be for a cocktail and I’ll walk over to politan row or Rumi’s and get a quality meal. The server was great!

    Overall- very good experience. Family went for the 1st time to celebrate Mothers day. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Small details and tweaks could easily make this a 5 star review. - We were greeted with a smile - warm and welcoming from the hostess, sat down promptly, but then waited about 10-15min for our drink order to be taken. This was a special occasion and we recognize that Mothers day is a busy day- so some grace was given for this. 5Church had a buffet style that day and overall the food was good. The Turkey and prime rib were our favorites. There was a variety of food to choose from, we just had to ask the servers to bring out more food as many items were gone. It is still within the Mother's day special hours- so I did expect to see a continuous flow of fresh food for the price. The servers and management addressed this right away and even checked back on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Again, overall- my family would go back, just maybe under normal circumstances. Mothers day is a huge day and im sure they received lots of irregular volume. I'd recommend more trained staff to meet this type of demand or maybe a special customer experience specialist to check on guest outside of the server during their visit (instead of the guest needing to seek someone for assistance.) This is not a bad review, my hope is that someone from the establishment will view it and make upgrades for next time. This is how you grow and get even better. We do recommend them. Thank you.

    I took a friend out for their birthday and it happened to fall on Mother’s Day so they had a buffet. I am not a huge fan of buffets because one you never actually eat that much and two the food being fresh can be a hit or miss. The food wasn’t the freshest but again it was a buffet so I am not going to rate them too harshly.I have only been to two places that have actually had good buffets. I will go back for a regular dinner because I do feel like the food would be excellent. Other than that the server was great and funny and the drinks were really good. Definitely recommend trying this place.

    This was my first time visiting for Mother’s Day. I was disappointed. There was not a variety of food to choose from. It was Mother’s Day!! Where was the desert! Really. fruit? What did we spend $60 dollars on? No, I can not recommend or return.

    I took my mother for their Mother's Day Brunch., which was $60 pp. It had a lot of variety to choose from and the food was mostly very good. They seasoned the meats very well. However the veggies were cold and did not have any flavor. It was a little pricey, especially if you had drinks also. They automatically charged a 20% gratuity, which added almost $30 to my bill not including taxes that were added at the end.

    I've eaten here before so I had high expectations and they were met. The food was delicious and my mother loved the brunch! We had a reservation for 1:30 but had a wait due in part to the fact that it was Mother's Day. I didn't mind and the restaurant was doing there best to keep up with such a high turnover rate. Overall would recommend!

    1) Mother’s Day buffet price per person increased twice 2) delayed 30 minutes to get a regular cup of coffee and then charged $3 in addition to the buffet. 3) mimosas were bizarre at best from a taste perspective and neither my wife’s or mine tasted correct. Colors of each were dramatically different and each tasted sour. 4) Many of the buffet dishes were empty or cold (chicken friscase, baked hash browns, fried chicken were all cold) 5) service was close to absent, no refills on water or clearing of plates regularly and we were there early for service. 6) would not recommend. Long delays until indicated done until check was received. Service was definitely not worth the automatic addition of 20% 7) definitely not worth $173 for two person LS for a buffet. Deviled egg bar was just regular deviled eggs. Grilled crudités for vegetables was less than exemplary in selection or quality. Enough said.

    Don’t go to this restaurant on a holiday or they’ll have a buffet style food ready for you and take 30 minutes to bring to your drink order. Over priced food and we can’t even get it served to us. It’s also too dark in the restaurant and the feel is that you’re there to socialize instead of actually eat good food. 0/5

    I’ve heard a lot a lot about this place so I wanted to try it out. I was invited on a lunch date so I chose 5Church. We went the Saturday prior to Mother’s Day . It was a nice atmosphere for Brunch . The food was pretty good. Everything we ordered was good. I will say my catfish was fried hard and I couldn’t really taste the meat from all the breading.I was nibbling off my cousins plate lol. I will say the seating for parties of 2 should have a little more space. It was hard to get in and out from the table w/o awkwardly having your behind in your neighbors face ,inches away from your food or waitress trying to stand in between the tables. Otherwise the ambiance was great.

    Staff and ambiance were both excellent, but the food quality left a lot to be desired. Steak was over cooked and fatty - not something you’d expect from a premium cut at steakhouse prices. Our options were limited since it was a late reservation on a Friday night, but we likely wouldn’t eat here again given other options.

    I was there to celebrate my 50th birthday and the server (black male with long nails) spent more time socializing then taking orders. We watched him chatting it up with a patron for at least 15 minutes while we were waiting to get our order taken. When we finally placed our order the food took 45 minutes!! They gave us free Flatbread but we wanted our food. My birthday celebration was RUINED!!

    My food came out cold. The fries were completely cold and limp. When brought to the managers attention he seemed bothered that I requested fresh hot fries. He didn’t apologized and acted as if I the customer inconvenienced him.

    The service was great but that was about it. I ordered shrimp on my salad and it was completely raw inside. They remade it but by the time it came out, the rest of my party was already finished with their meals. Also, it was BEYOND loud inside the restaurant. Twice the music was just blaring to the point where we could not hear each other talk. Lastly, the prices are just outrageous. $22 for a small kale salad with shrimp? $20 for 2 eggs, bacon, grits and fruit? Insane. I will probably not go back.

    You must park car and walk - being able to walk up/ down stairs is necessary unless you eat outside. They will validate your parking ticket. Great food and attentive, thoughtful service.
