Excellent service, classy decor, v good food and drinks offer, and great value. Couple of hiccups were dealt with very quickly. Hannah and the team are doing an excellent job. Please support this welcome addition to Eastbourne’s culinary trail.

Food was amazing and served quickly. Service was very good, the waiting staff were very polite and nice. However the music was too loud. I can understand it being that loud in the bar upstairs but in the restaurant area it didn’t need to be so loud. Other than that, it’s a lovely place to visit!

Went for an early dinner , even though empty and we’d booked the waitress still had to check with the kitchen but the decor was lovely and the staff very polite and helpful . My husband wanted his steak blue , and although the waitress didn’t know what that was the chef obviously did and it was very good . Portion sizes were not too big which meant we didn’t leave much which is always a bonus . Can’t comment on the bar upstairs but as a 60 plus local, Eastbourne needs places like this to drag us forward so hope people use it

Great service and lovely, friendly staff. Music was pumping when we went but I liked it although my friend thought it was too loud. Not the sort of place to go for a romantic meal. Food was good but portions maybe a bit on the small side. Our starters were forgotten but were given to us with our mains and taken off the bill for inconvenience. Overall a lively, pleasant atmosphere with the added bonus of a bar upstairs when you’ve finished your meal.

Really great meal overall would definitely recommend and come back! Setting was great, Food was faultless, service was abit slow but was busy so most probably why. A few different waitresses at our table some more attentive then others! Cocktails were really good not watered down like some other establishments do!

Very comfortable, nice ambience with a DJ mixing noughties music. Polite and on point waiting staff. Main meal was superb, dessert was ok. Would probably have starter and a main rather than main and dessert. Is a little bit pricey though.

The restaurant was really clean, good music and had a really nice vibe. The waiting staff were very attentive to needs and were always around if needed. The food was also really good and came out quickly. I have the garlic prawns, Mac and cheese bites (which were my favourite part of my meal) and lamb chops with fries. Over all everything was really tasty and filling. I didn’t have room for dessert but they had a great selection which all sounded amazing! I would definitely go there again and try some other bits. Also keen to try their cocktails

It was the first visit with my partner and my friends. We had lunch there and it didn’t disappoint. The service was amazing and the waitress was very attentive and also very good at communicating with us in a professional but fub manor. Her name is Joanne and if you are lucky to be served by her you will have an amazing experience. The food was amazing very nice Philly steak burger I had and my friends meals were amazing too. Joanne also double checked if the Diet Coke was in a bottle because I can’t have the pump Coke due to having Crohns, as it irritates my stomach. Nothing was too much trouble! We never laughed so much at a lunch. Will be definitely recommending you!

Lovely restaurant with a great DJ playing a good variety of music. Food was good but for the price think a little expensive and if I went again I would have a different meal. I had the prawns and they were ok. The cocktail menu would of been nice if it had the prices on as we ordered from the menu and the cocktails we had were £10.00 each, I know this is not really expensive for a cocktail but thought for Eastbourne abit over prices, as I would expect to pay this in Brighton. The staff though were excellent, extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful.

The service is faultless as was our food. I had a Fillet Steak that is by far the best I have had in a while. My husband had a Steak burger which was also lovely. Love the elegant interior of the restaurant and the atmosphere is fabulous with the live DJ…great touch!

More like a bar than a restaurant due to the loud music. Food was nice and good value. Our waitress needs more training. We had a wonky table which we had to sort out ourselves (she provided the napkins and left us to it), she didn’t know the drinks menu, she asked if we could have the same cutlery for our main course rather than taking them away and generally didn’t seem to know how to serve people properly. The other two waitresses were fine.

We were greeted politely and offered choice of tables. Our server was very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We shared the halloumi starter, which was lovely, with a really fresh mint dip. We both had sirloin steak with chimichurri sauce. The meat was very good quality and perfectly cooked. The salad was nicely dressed and the fries delicious. We were too full for dessert! Very good value for money and a pleasant environment.

We attended mid week as a group for dinner and drinks. The restaurant was very quiet, just us and 2 other tables. Cocktail choices, presentation and flavour were amazing! Very clean, food was great but what stood out most was the customer service. Alex is a credit to 5th Avenue, so welcoming, fun and friendly. Along with Gabbie who was also very lovely. We will definitely return again on a busier day of the week to experience more of an atmosphere!

Food was lovely but felt like we were in a nightclub. Music wayyyy too loud even the waitress couldn’t hear your order and commented it was too loud. Service wasn’t up to scratch no real welcome or even the standard how’s your food. Had to ask for sauces to go with meal. Witnessed another party query their bill with no aggression they were very polite…as soon as they started discussing it the security staff came over. Completely unnecessary and very intimidating was right by our table so we witnessed it and I felt uncomfortable…god knows how the poor chap felt who was nothing but polite to the waitress. So why the doorman had to stand there I do not know. Not a good finish. This place could be amazing but they need to listen to feedback.

My meal was cold I ordered the philly cheesesteak and it had so much of the mustard cheese you couldn't taste the steak and I managed to eat the chips and the steak even though it was cold when I told the waitress she didn't respond at all to the comment and walked away after having a lovely experience here previously this was not what I expected

Better only if they had the lobster but we were unlucky they ran out on the day we went 🙈 the king prawns were perfectly cooked and very tasty so great alternative! The place decoration is amazing and cannot fault service

Gorgeous food and lovely ambience with the music and the scenic TVs. Staff were a bit hit and miss, some were super polite and attentive and then others a bit offish in their manner. The lady we asked for the bill responded with “So you don’t want desert then?” And when we asked not to be sat near the door when we came in it was made out to be quite an imposition as they said they had a lot of bookings. They reluctantly agreed to move us and no one came to sit at the table they’d tried to put as at by the door so we’re not quite sure what the issue was. Either way, amazing food which was delicious made up for it and if it were a special occasion (as it’s not cheap) we’d go back.

While the food was nice, it was overpriced for what you get! My chicken burger was OK but the chicken was a little dry and there was far too much sauce. We really liked the starters and felt they were much better than the mains. The staff were very polite and friendly and was good to see the place busy. However, before taking my 73 year old dad I wish I had known there was going to be a DJ playing music. While I know it was a Saturday night, the music could have been a little quieter has my dad is slightly hard of hearing so had to raise my voice! The interior was really cool and modenr and really think this would be a great place for drinks and small plates of food with friends but don't think I will be taking either of my parents there again!

Wasn’t to sure what to expect after reading a mix of reviews, we had a drink whilst choosing our food, waitress was efficient and friendly, our burgers were delicious with lovely seasoned chips . We were asked if we wanted a dessert menu but then we got forgotten it wasn’t too much of a problem hence deducting a star … nice decor we will return

Main dinner was okay but starters tasted like they were straight out of the freezer and charging £3.50 for a tablespoon of peppercorn sauce is outrageous. Also the straws are not big enough to sip a daiquiri through. Inexperienced waiting staff. Sat waiting ages for table to be cleared and to get the bill. overall an underwhelming experience. Decor was the best bit about the restaurant.
