We had a lovely dinner. We enjoyed our table looking out on the city and people moving about. The Brussel sprouts starter was so fabulous, we had two of them. Our waiter was wonderful (I am sorry I don’t remember his name). Thank you!!

I’ll put our three stars down to the fact that anyplace can have an off night. We chose 75 to meet friends from out of BC for its location and a good looking menu. The September 3-salmon special was excellent. Unfortunately, all 3 orders of fish and chips (which everyone else in our party ordered) were badly overcooked, and yet served anyway. A more attentive waiter, or expediter, or both, would not have served them in the first place. To their credit, when we pointed out the problem they were replaced with well fried fish. We were given plenty of time to visit - it was not busy - but no one returned to ask whether we wanted coffee or dessert, and I had to go and ask for our cheque. Despite my excellent salmon dish, I’d be hard pressed to recommend the restaurant to friends.

Steak Frites: I sent it back because it was 'medium' instead of 'medium rare'. I had ordered it with 'grilled onions' but never received them. The steak was quite salty. My friend ordered 'vegetarian pasta' - he said it was delicious. The server, as usual, was excellent.

Ended up leaving before eating. Service was absolutely terrible. We had a reservation for 11:45 intending to have fathers day brunch. We were seated without menus and had to request them. We then waited another 15 mins before a server ran by and said she'd be with us in 2 mins. After another 10 mins we flagged her down to try to order. She reluctantly started to take our orders then complaining that she had two other tables to look after. As the weekend brunch menu started at 11am we booked our meal after 11am. Our son also wanted breakfast, but apparently the kids breakfast stops at 11am and we were told he could only order lunch. At this point we left. How does one have breakfast/brunch as a family when the menu times conflict like this? The server made no effort to save the day. We said we were leaving and she said ok. I think she was happy that she only had her two other tables to deal with now. We will never return.

This has always been my favorite place to hang out with friends and family. This time I felt a bit embarrassed as we were a bit loud. Sure we were disturbing others but felt bad to ask my table to be quiet. We stayed a bit longer even after paying the bill. Service was excellent, I should have tipped more.

The food took over an hour to prepare when the restaurant was quite dead. Maybe we arrived during the transition between Breakfast & Lunch. We were told there was no more breakfast and was only given lunch and dinner menu but ppl who arrived after us all managed to get breakfast such as Egg Benny which we came for but instead, we had to wait for over an hour for our food while other ppl had literally finished their breakfast & left even though they arrived AFTER us. It was not a pleasant experience.

We had a very good experience. There were 5 of us and we were greeted and seated promptly. The server was friendly and did her job well. The dishes were generous and tasted well. We ordered 4 dishes to share. (2 people were very light eaters) We still have enough food to pack home! Definitely will return!

My food was good, however, my guest order a tuna dish and he found it fishy. It's a business lunch and I was a bit embarrassed by it. I asked him to order another dish but he declines. Please make sure food is fresh especially seafood.

The food was so terrible we left. No one even came to check on us. Salad had way too much dressing. We left the steak and left our phone number for them to call us if they’d like us to come back to pay the horrible salad because we ate it anyhow and our ginger beer. I will never go there again and have been thinking about for ages. Our parking was $10 so we ended up having what was supposed to be a nice Valentine’s dinner at Harold’s and it was great. Should’ve gone there in the first place.

The ambience of the dining room was casual, neutral and quite brightly lit - more like a breakfast/lunch venue than fine dining. The service was similar but friendly and very prompt. The Dine Out Vancouver menu was excellent and good value for money. The menu was interesting, the food was delicious, beautifully prepared and the presentation was outstanding, very artistic.
