Our server, Colleen, was phenomenal. We were there over a month ago and she still remembered the drinks we had the last time we were there and what we ordered. Just a great person who takes care and treats my wife with respect even though she is disabled. Can't rave enough about her. Thank you

From the moment we arrived the service and experience was nothing short of exceptional. Educated and respectful staff, present and observant without being over bearing, and very professional. As someone who has history of managing hospitality businesses it is hard to not commend this team for how well they executed an exceptional experience. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a top tier dining experience in Omaha.

Straight to the point: -Lovely atmosphere -Energetic/professional/polite staff -Sharp table presentation -Beautiful food plating Ordered: -Calamari -Broccolini -Green-beans w/bacon -Pan Seared Salmon -Dry-Aged Porterhouse Steak -Crème brûlée -Peardox (Alcoholic) -Moscato (Alcoholic) More Details: Upon arrival, a well groomed valet opened my wife’s door and was extremely polite. Entering the restaurant and being walked to our table was an experience. Beautiful atmosphere with well placed decor. We were sat at a table set for 4 and before I could sit down, the unnecessary plates, cups and utensils were removed in mere seconds. Very impressive. Our waiter introduced himself and gave a brief description of the menus. Throughout the night, he walked with a purpose and was keeping ours drinks filled all night. When it came time to order, I asked about the dry-aged steak and he gave me a brief and quick description about their process. I felt like I could trust him so I asked him to order the steak in his suggested cook(rare, well, well-done, etc…). The food arrived in a timely manner and there were no complaints from us. The flavors collided with grace and nearly changed our entire taste palate. 801 Chophouse set a new standard for our tastebuds! Highly recommend!

Not their best night. It seems as if things were rushed, food lacked flavor and service was inattentive to the needs of our group. I may go elsewhere next time.

Had a reso at 8:45, sat at the bar. First bartender(brunette spiky hairish) put down 4 cocktail napkins and asked my girlfriend and I what we would like for a cocktail. I asked for a grey goose gibson. The other bartender (reddish/blonde hair with a blonde) brought me my cocktail which I saw him use Tito’s. I asked him which vodka he used and he said Tito’s, so no sweat maybe miscommunication between the two. We ordered an app and entrees and told the bartender to just send when it’s ready. At this point, still haven’t been asked if we wanted water/what kind, while the other 2 bev napkins sat there. At this point my girlfriend and I wanted to see how long it would take to get water. Our entree comes 20 minutes later, still no water. No check back on our appetizer. When entrees are dropped the bartender realized we still didn’t have water and finally offered it. Once we thought we had everything, my girlfriend went to ask for another drink but the bartender walked away before she even had the chance. No check back after a couple minutes of enjoying the food or at all until we were done as they were concerned with shutting the bar down it seemed. While the food was great, the service really damaged any thought of this dining experience and we won’t be checking this chain at their different locations because of this experience. We’re driving cross country, this was one of the spots we wanted to check out in our limited time in Omaha. We really regretted it as we wanted to spend the whole night there. We were out in a hour because we could tell the bartenders just wanted to get home and not care about us. We still tipped accordingly as the review should tell everything and not the tip. Also, don’t ask the valet where to go. After this we asked the valet “where would you recommend us to have a night cap before we get home?” To try and turn the night around. His response- -couldn’t tell you, figure it out on your own. Not my place.
