Great atmosphere, with a rustic look and tribute to the Omaha steak tradition. The server we had was attentive, but did not offer us extra bread like some high quality steakhouses. Our food was "so so," since it arrived a bit cold and the servers did not check the cooking level and temperature as we've grown to expect from top steak houses. The food was quite expensive, particularly the steak. Great desserts!

The steak, prime rib, and asparagus were all very good. However, the scalloped potatoes have not been good the last two times we ordered them. The potatoes are crunchy, not done!! We will not order them again!!

We had such a great experience! We were just driving through town and stopped for dinner. I was pleasantly surprised how wonderful they were with our small children for such a nice steak restaurant! Our server was SO good — he had great recommendations, very personable, he was very patient with our small kids and would entertain all their stories and questions. The food was outstanding. Wish there was a location closer to home!

Absolutely disappointed in this establishment. Dress code? Jeans and hoodies with ball caps. If this is how you choose your patrons, then price accordingly and don't charge over a hundred dollars for a cut of meat. Vape? yes, the table with the jeans and ball cap was doing that as well. Service? Fell short on this too. Thought maybe the waitress was short with staff, but she was just short with her temper. When it was passed 9pm and things were slow, she didn't change her mood or service. Water had stuff floating in it and did not address it with an apology and made us feel as if it was our issue. I asked if the water had lemon in it, but was told no. So what was in the water then?? BH weekend and to have the last night in Omaha at this place was a complete let down. Shame on you people for running this restaurant like you do and providing this type of service. The food, not up to par. Waste of time to get into it, but dine for yourself and good luck. OMG, that's all I can is is just OMG.

Fantastic service and amazing food. Wonderful steaks. Also a great atmosphere. We were in town for the Berkshire AGM and were lucky enough to bump into one of the senior managers who was also dining there. He was totally charming when we interrupted him in his dinner - and I am sure the guy gets a lot of people coming to say Hi - but he couldn’t have been friendlier. He so kindly suggested some selfies ! Rounded out an amazing weekend in Omaha

We were greeted quickly. It was fun that they had Happy Birthday fetti on the table and Happy Birthday on the menus. They could have been a little faster because we told them that we had flights to make, but they were totally fine with some of us leaving early and leaving the rest of us to linger over desserts. It was a lovely evening! We will return!

I’ve never had a bad experience at chophouse. Don’t miss the lobster bites appetizer. Also nothing compares to the bone marrow butter steak topper. Amazing selection of bourbons. And wine.

They were promoting their “Morel Mushrooms” as a steak topper, which were in season. Not what we were expecting. They were the tiniest morel mushrooms I’ve ever seen in my life. I’m talking microscopic. In addition, they were not washed well and were extremely gritty. Not worth the extra $40 for two steak toppers. The kids salad was a joke, basically shredded lettuce you would find on a McDonald’s hamburger. The steaks were good, bone in prime rib, filet mignon and child’s petite filet, but prefer Flemings. The sides were OK. Again, Flemings is much better. I doubt we will return to 801

Last night my wife and I went to 801 for our 5 year wedding anniversary. Let me tell you that was the best dining experience we have ever had in our lives! The service was spectacular thanks to Ricardo, he was very detailed when explaining the menu and the cuts of steak and everything pretty much! I can not tell you enough that the steaks that we had last night were the best steaks that we have ever had. The sides were phenomenal and to top it off the Grand Marnier souffle was to die for! All and all we could not be more pleased with our evening at 801 chop house and most certainly will be back there again!

Everything we ordered was very good. Our waiter was efficient and polite but showed no particular interest in us. We had reservations but were seated in a booth in the bar and not the main dining area. The atmosphere lacked energy and just seemed so outdated. This was disappointing. The food was very good but the plate presentation and choices were typical not interesting. Our total bill for a shared appetizer, side, bottle of wine and two steaks was $280. While we were expecting we would spend around that much we just weren't expecting to have the total experience feel so blah. For a great night out at that price I want fabulous not very nice.

Hendrick's martinis were excellent...dry +++ and chilled. Fried calamari & zucchini were tasty. Iceberg wedge was really good'. The dressing was smooth and creamy and not harsh and acidic as it can be at other restaurants. Good quality blue cheese pays off! The A5 Wagyu was to die for. Best steak ever and totally worth the price. Cooked to perfection. The certificate of authenticity will be a nice reminder of a fabulous dinner. Thanks to Executive Chef Eddie for the tour of the aging cooler and the information about the Morgan Ranch. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
