    Totally enjoyed this surprise in Baldwin! Great menu, delicious preparations, excellent service (yeah, Grace Kelly). Hope to return again soon. A hidden gem for those who appreciate gourmet food and drink!

    Decor is not good. If you want to be good. Lower your lights get some comfy chairs and put some Linens on your tables. Menu was strange. A very eclectic expensive fish dish and a burger on same page, with meatloaf . Good wine list

    Service seemed slow and no one picked up the dirty dishes from the table from the appetizers, my potatoes were glued to the paper and had maybe 3 beans under the walleye. We will try pizza next time. Thank you

    For Baldwin I believe 876 to be very overpriced. The food was pretty good. We had the mussels and although very tasty the portion not commensurable with the price. The Cowboy bean soup, pretty good with a smoky barbeque flavor but needed something more than beans. Also, a bit more broth. It was really thick.

    Our meals were amazing and the staff was very friendly and pleasant. Our only complaint was that it took a long time to initially get waited on and a long time for cocktails to arrive once ordered.

    Was happy to see a new and upscale option in Baldwin. Had an awesome dinner with friends and started with the sausage/pepper and brisket slider appetizers…both were very good but enjoyed the sausage a bit more…great on the small toast! For dinner we all went in different directions with the duck and flat iron steak edging out the Jambalaya and the meat pizza. What was even more surprising than the incredible food was the strong wine list. Well done and love the artwork too!

    Had the NYStrip and my husband had the duck. My husband couldn’t say enough about the duck and my steak had a lot of flavor.

    Excellent food in the little town of Baldwin. Better than I’ve had in some big city restaurants. The highlight of the meal was the tiramisu. The best I’ve ever had.

    NY strip done properly, tasty but tough. Beet salad delicious. Flat iron steak great and walleye great. Loved the cocktail napkins.

    This was our first meal at 876 but it won’t be our last. Everything from the cocktails, to the entrees and desserts was excellent. Our server was Grace and she was very welcoming and attentive. I could not decide between two entrees and after asking me a few questions, she made excellent recommendations. The chef is clearly very talented and uses local, in season ingredients. We look forward to having many delicious meals here!

    Great food every time! Chef is friendly and talented. Noise level can be high sometimes but this seems to be everywhere now days. Server was a bit short when we asked questions and when taking our order and was defensive when one in our group said the margarita was missing an ingredient or needed more orange liquor/flavor.

    The Walleye was cooked perfectly but the portions were small. Maybe if they included some slices of Baggett with dipping oil it would be even more satisfying!

    Incredible meal! Our wedding anniversary dinner was exquisite from the nachos to the tender, buttery halibut, the PERFECT med-rare burger, Georgie peach crisp and the BEST key lime pie I have ever tasted! Add the very best care by the chef himself and our fab sever Grace and we were so happy to have stumbled on this little gem:)

    We love 876! Nachos are must when we are in. I gave a higher rating for noise only because we enjoying the live music while dinning outside.

    Food was delicious. We made a reservation but still had to wait for our table for about 20 minutes as they were very busy. Our cocktails took even longer - but were also delicious. Deserts were yummy.

    This is our second time being there. We absolutely enjoy it. The food is fantastic! We’ve tried a few different things throughout our groups, and everything has been fabulous! The ladies that waited on us were pleasant, happy and did a great job checking on us and getting the food to us at a very reasonable length of time. The chef even came out and said hello to a number of the guests that were there.  Definitely a must! And we will be back very soon…

    Superb food, friendly service, and interesting decor make this a great find in Lake County. I very much enjoyed the halibut, and my father loved the roast chicken. This is a great place for excellent food.

    Understaffed. We watched our drinks sit on the bar for at least 10 minutes and that was after 10 minutes of waiting for them to be poured. Our waters were never refilled. We ordered the baked Brie and blueberries appetizer. It was small but good. Our overworked server disappeared. Three of our four entrees sat on the counter for between 10 and 15 minutes before the fourth entree appeared. All were delivered by the host who simply handed them over the table to us. The plates were hot but the food ranged from cool to lukewarm. We had to use our drink napkins to clean off our Brie/blueberry encrusted knives. Our tab was $181 before tip. We didn’t order anything fancy. If they can’t fully staff they should either limit seating or shut down. We won’t be back.

    Excellent food; flavor explosions. The barbecue night (Wednesday) is especially good. The restaurant was busy and service was a bit slow, though the wait staff were doing their best. Noise level high, which was mostly the result of general busy-ness. There was one out of control child near our table - not the 876's fault - behaving badly and largely unchecked by the parent. Fortunately they left before too long. Overall a good experience and I strongly recommend 876 to others.
