Food was excellent. Pre-show dinner and I will definitely eat here again
Very delicious food! We had several Tikka dishes, chickpea curry, and several types of Nan and it was all delicious. Highly recommend and we will eat there again on our next visit to Toronto.
Good value & delicious food. service was a little slow but on a Friday night we were in no rush at all. I would definitely go back to Aanch.
I really enjoyed the ambiance. The food was excellent, very delicious. Service was great! This place is a gem and I plan on returning soon.
Fantastic food and ambiance. Highly recommend and would return again.
Very nice food and service. Quiet enough to comfortably have good conversation. Enjoyed my visit.
Very tasty!! Butter chicken and chicken tikka masala were delicious, and the raita was a big hit with my dining companion.
The chicken tikka masala was delicious and attentive waiters and nice decor. Lots of people and nice atmosphere. We have found our Go to Indian restaurant, we will be back
The food was good quality but the chai took too long.
Good - Food quaility and taste, thali is worth.
Bad - service ( attitude n wrong dishes served)
Food was very good but unfortunately we were in the upstairs room which was practically empty and therefore lacking in atmosphere.
We were staying next door at the Residence Inn, so Aanch was very conveniently located. My husband and I enjoyed our table on the 2nd floor, with our view of the street below (watching folks walk their dogs!) We ordered an appetizer to share (Spinach Shammi Kebab) and Rosemary Naan bread. For our entrees we ordered Fish Tikka and Lamb Rogan Josh. Both of our entrees were very good, as well as the naan bread. I didn't care for the Spinach Shammi Kebab... the texture was a little dry.
We have eaten Indian food for years in the US, Canada, and the UK. I also cook Indian food at home. This was by far the best Indian food we have had dining out. The lamb was so tender, the flavors full and complex. Absolutely outstanding!
I was trying to find and India Restaurant close to the ACC for a meal prior to a friend and I seeing ELO in concert (awesome by the way!). The Indian food was a little bit different - enough to be creative but not wonder why made it Indian! Two apps., scallops and samosas both great! Curried chicken and lobster dish as well as a cauliflower dish. All three fantastic- I never seen a lobster dish at an Indian restaurant! Add three Cheetah beers total before top about $80 each.
We had a great dinner here with family. Their gobi and daal was to die for. The Manager Karan took really good care of our experience.
Large portions and good choice of specialist dishes - but rather strange seating arrangement in a soulless ground floor spot in a downtown office building.
Loved the food. Everything was cooked to perfection.
Brilliant, the portions are generous the food was a delight to see and taste. I will go back again
Very good service. Very friendly staff! Portions were good.
We met as a group of 25 international academic colleagues for a fun reunion and were kindly welcomed, courteously served and delightfully fed with a variety of flavourful and well-presented dishes. We had a long, festive table upstairs and the whole event went smoothly thanks to thoughtful hospitality and fine food.
Excellent presentation, taste, and service. The quality and quantity of the food surprised us, and the service was very friendly.
Loved it! Will definitely be back!
Thank you for a great experience
We had a great dinner. The chef even came outside to ask us how was our dinner. Loved the ambiance and the dinner.
Honestly this is the best Indian restaurant in Toronto. The food is just delicious. Love it.
The food was delicious, and portions are generous. We did have an issue with our table not being clean when we sat down, and the restaurant set up itself is unusual.
Staff are very friendly.
It was great
My main course took forever to arrive. There was a large entourage dining next to me and they seem to have gotten all the attention. I felt ignored. I had to get up and walk to the front desk to get my bill because I had difficulty getting any waiters attention.
Delicious Indian food!
Food was good. Service was so-so.
Excellent food, service and ambiance!
We were in Toronto for a short trip in April. One of our favorite cities. Always looking for interesting restaurants. Aanch Indian restaurant was outstanding, possibly the best Indian food we have ever had. The chicken tandoori, the soup, and everything else was outstanding. We would be regulars if we lived in Toronto, but we live in Florida.
Amazing overall !!
Some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had!! Lovely quiet restaurant. Friendly service, nicely presented, unstinting portions and reasonable prices.
Highly recommend !!
Name has changed but the chef from Host 259 is now the owner and as fabulous as ever. Best Indian food in Canada!
can't fault this restaurant. friendly and timely service. food is great and sometimes unusual. even spoke to the chef. visit. you won't regret it.
Excellent selection of northern india foods. Clean, quiet and not very expensive :)
