I was the only one in the dining room when I arrived. The young lady who waited on me was very pleasant and brought me a lovely meal.
Great Shannon was very helpful and the place is very nice.
Excellent way to spend our New Year’s Eve! Fireworks concluded this magical evening! Thank you!
Such an adorable inn with amazing food and ambiance!!
The setting is quintessential New England and the staff are friendly
Cozy inn, friendly service, good food. We all enjoyed our evening.
Beautiful Inn...great service...food well prepared with a thoughtful and well balanced menu!
We had an amazing dining experience at the Adiar Inn. First time for us and we will return again soon. Everything was top of the line, food, drinks, service, atmosphere. Can't wait to go again!
Beautifully decorated for the holidays. Cozy dining room. Great service.
We had a lovely dinner. It felt safe and distanced from other dinners, the food was great. It was wonderful for a special occasion. Will definitely come back!
Our first dining experience in Bethlehem and everything we could have hoped for. Diana, Cassidy and our sever Shannon were the perfect example of hospitality! The food, service, and atmosphere were all spectacular. And we felt very comfortable despite Covid restrictions as their protocol was spot on. Can’t recommend this establishment high enough and we look forward to returning again either when travel restrictions will allow - or even better, when the virus is gone.
Dinners were excellent with a good mix if creative appetizers and entrees balanced by familiar New England fare, all expertly cooked and plated. The menu was complemented by a sufficient but not extensive wine list. Desserts were exceptionally good. The ambience was everything you'd expect from a New England country inn. We'll definitely return for dinner, seeing Adair as a destination worth the 45-minute drive for special occasions.
We had a decent visit to the Adair. Service was excellent, prices were very high, the dinners were OK but not equivalent to the price charged, portions were smaller than expected, ambience was very nice, CoVid protocols appear to have been followed. Unlikely that we'll return.
The food and service here was amazing. I was brought my best friend there for the first time and she ended up loving it just as much as I did. The hostess Bobby-Sue greeted us with a smile and was very friendly. The waitress Cassie was very attentive to our needs and made our visit feel special. The food made by the chef was perfect in every way, even when we asked for some alterations on the entrees.
Adair is a gem, a gorgeous old home turned B&B, perfect atmosphere for a lovely meal or stay. We had a delicious dinner there, and have dined and stayed there a number of times over the years, when we're in the area for vacations. It hasn't ever disappointed. Charming ambience, attentive staff, and delicious food carefully prepared. We're always happy to return!
Great atmosphere and service is wonderful. Great food. Have been 3 times in three weeks. Will go again soon!!!
The atmosphere was a bit "sterile" due to Covid-19 restrictions - so we were a bit taken aback by this. Martha was attentive and her service was good. But, when the innkeeper acknowledged our reservation time change and I noted we were celebrating our long-term milestone wedding anniversary she spoke to this event in her reply - so I had sort of hoped there would be some mention of this during our dinner.
The service and meal were excellent. Tables were well spaced in the dining room - great place to celebrate our anniversary!
Lovely property. Great food and ambience. Great place for a special occasion!
My husband and I enjoyed The dining experience at Adair. The Dining room is very nice and we dined by a fire. Food was very good and service was as well.
The food was amazing and the setting is beautiful and historic. Very romantic. When we arrived at our assigned time, the hostess was very cold and non-welcoming. The small room we were sitting in was marred by one of those guests who’s voice dominates the room. We could hear their entire conversation and nothing else. For the cost of the meal, servers should have been a bit more refined and knowledgeable.
We always enjoy dining at Adair; the food is always amazing and fresh. They're taking the pandemic seriously, and paying attention to customer needs. Fantastic!
Great place for a cozy, romantic meal. The Apple crumb dessert was delicious
This Inn has a wonderful ambiance & delicious food. Definitely a good choice for a special occasion
Lovely experience. Good food. Great service
Lovely country setting. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Plan to go again next week!
Dining in the days of COVID is challenging, but Adair does a good job of using their sitting room as well as the dining room to space out tables.
While we only wanted a glass of wine apiece, we were only given the bottled wine list for white wines. Thought that was a bit odd.
Overall, we've always enjoyed eating at the Adair, and we enjoyed this seating as well. My husband especially enjoys their mashed potatoes, and his pork chop was huge!
Nice service.
We enjoyed our visit for dinner, but the stuffed chicken breast my husband ordered was not what he envisioned - he thought boneless breast with actual stuffing - Maybe a better description would be better, or a comment from the server that it had a bone in it. My rib eye special was terrific, but the brussel sprouts need to be done more -they were too crunchy and I did not eat them. We'll keep this on our "short list" of restaurants when we visit again from Mass.

We took some neighbors here to experience what we consider the nicest inn in the White Mountains. The ambiance is upscale casual and the grounds are beautiful as is the food. Each dish is carefully prepared and the waitstaff is professional and Covid compliant. Adair makes dining special whether outdoors or inside.
First choice venue. Warm and engaging staff plus an outstanding meal. Great value.
From the minute we walked in we felt very welcome and at home. The ambience was exactly what we were looking for in a nice country in. Cassidy and Savannah took excellent care of us throughout the evening. Vegetable Fritters were delicious with perfect amount of spice. The New England Shellfish Stew and Prime Steak entrees were phenomenal. And though we don’t usually get dessert we couldn’t pass up the mixed berry tart which was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. We felt welcome and will definitely be back.
We went there for dinner during our honeymoon and it was amazing. The food, the location, ambience, was spectacular and we both said we would like to come back for our wedding anniversary every year. The food was some of the best I’ve had in quite a while. I would recommend this place to anyone that was traveling up to Franconia.
Not sure of how Adair would handle an intimate dining experience in these times of Covid, we were very impressed. It was all conducted with respect and courtesy. The setting in the "living room" was not too close to the fireplace, comfortable and just a lovely place to celebrate our 45th Wedding Anniversary.
The food was excellent and the service was impeccable and friendly. Any request was promptly addressed.
Thank you for a memorable evening of celebration.
Was disappointed in the food we ordered. I had steak which was way overdone... I ordered medium. My wife’s haddock was tasteless and appeared old. The food appeared about 40 minutes after ordering and it wasn’t that busy. On the other hand the waitress was terrific and outside dining area very nice in ambience with memorable music playing in the background.
Great food and Martha was extremely attentive! Very relaxing evening!
Excellent atmosphere, service and food. A really wonderful evening.
Great food and very good service - and the location is amazing! We had dinner in the outside patio - highly recommended!
20th Anniversary - would have been extra special had they acknowledged it.
We always enjoy our dinner at Adair. Chef is very creative, and the food is excellent!
This was a pleasant surprise. We were looking for a nice restaurant that would be relaxing and quiet. This delivered. The food and service was top-notch.
