Tried the Butter Chicken for the first time last night, another awesome dish, I can't go anywhere else for Indian food now. I still think Tikka Masala is my favorite though.

Fantastic dining experience. Loved the Murgh Makhani and tandoori chicken. Joker is definitely the best mocktail there. Service was super good. Will definitely be coming back

We celebrated my husband’s birthday, as his favourite food is Indian. Service was excellent the food was excellent especially the dessert and the establishment is beautiful ! My only critique would be the noise level we could hardly hear each other and the tables were a little too close to the next guests. Not conducive for a romantic night! (It was a Friday night) Would definitely recommend.

A wonderful place that reminds you of restaurants back in Bombay. Amazing food, the most authentic we have found in Toronto to date. The spice level is just right as well as their flavour combinations produce real art. Service was excellent which accentuated the whole experience. A special shout out to Jayesh who made the evening extra special.

We found the way to go was order 3 signature appetizers. The Indian cheese and herb rounds, the spicy cauliflower (so good) and the lamb chops.

This is one of the most creative and flavour-rich Indian restaurants I've dined in the world! Each plate was delicious, not overwhelming in size and perfectly presented. The wait staff and managers were very professional, attentive and very pleasant. I'll be back soon too. Fantastic food ( but not inexpensive). JMR

After a bit of a mishap with our table, Adrak stepped up and showed what wonderful service and management can do. The food was delicious and unique. The cocktails were tasty too. We will definitely come back.

It was one of the finest experience we had in Toronto so far. The staff was exceptional, food was great too. Though price is on higher side, but the ambience and hospitality compensates it. Rarely seen any Indian restaurant catering to the needs which are essential for an Indian cusinie, like the hotel towel at the end of your dinner. It’s well thought and almost a perfect place to get a fine dine.

It was the very first time I visited a Michelin star restaurant expecting the food to be immaculate and yes they did live up to the expectations. It is quite difficult to make reservations at this restaurant especially when it’s so close to Diwali. The food takes you into a complete nostalgia of some of the favourites that you might have visited in India. The menu was a good mix of the contemporary and traditional North Indian dishes with excellent service. The favourite of the evening was the Awadh lamb shank served with an assortment of Naan breads. Ofcourse their butter chicken and daal Makhani were absolutely delicious. Surely do not hesitate to try this place out if you would like to gorge on some North Indian food specialities.

They have a weird policy of cancellation at 60 $ per person if you miss the appointment which they don't tell on when they recommended having the credit card details while booking. Their butter rotis are not soft, and need improvement. I would also suggest the same thing on their paneer items. Thier daal Makhni is good though. I also feel that the food is expensive and it is not a value.

Tbh overall it was not great as expected from Michelin star restaurant. Though food and ambience were okay but service was seriously bad. Server (I think he was the manager) was very rude. He kept us pushing to order food quickly. We didn’t even get a chance to read through the whole menu properly to decide what we want to eat. When we asked questions to clarify he gave one/ two words answers without ensuring our questions were answered satisfactorily. I hope in future you would pay attention on offering a better customer service too. Thank you!

This restaurant represents everything I love about fine dinning. The ambiance, the service and great food. Would recommend to anyone new in the city looking for an immersive Indian experience. Ask for Sunny as your server he is amazing !

Food was great. Service was poor. They were slow and took a long time to take our drink order and make our drinks. The worst part of the night is that they turned the lights on at 1055 then turned the music off shortly after. It felt very uncomfortable. We also had a bottle of wine so felt forced to finish it very quickly. They were cleaning and obviously waiting for us to leave.

Hi, We went there for our anniversary- the food, ambience and service was amazing. The tables are placed pretty close to each other, it was a little too close for my comfort zone but we had a good time overall.

Was not impressed that they asked us to leave after 1 hour and 20 minutes of dining. They said the next guests were ready for our table!! We had booked this via OpenTable so it wasn’t a last minute walk in.

Service is subpar. They serve the food directly on your plate and reaches all over the table. Food is hot but just ok. Very loud inside. Would not go back again even though it’s a Michelin star restaurant.

Disappointing experience. Portions tiny and very pricey. Big menu but hard to know how small portions are because prices high. For example, the skewers are not enough to share around for more than a couple of people not a lot of guidance from staff. Although some of our dishes were tasty and we liked the spices, we felt we would not return.

I booked this restaurant in advance for my sister’s 25th birthday. When we arrived, we were made to wait extra time and eventually we were seated at a booth. I previously sent a message to the restaurant letting them know it’s my sister’s birthday and we really wanted something special to be done for her and they sent me a message saying they agreed. They did bring out a candle on the dessert, but the entire experience felt very underwhelming. As a Michelin star restaurant, I expected better treatment and service from the staff but I can honestly say I’m simply disappointed but not surprised. The food was good, their greatest strength is their decor and their cocktails. I personally think they should convert this place into a cocktail bar instead… Overall, food was good, cocktails were great, ambience is nice and the decor is beautiful, however this is definitely not a 5 star experience. I’ve been to other restaurants in Yorkville and I must say this is one of the less enjoyable ones.

This was my second time at this location, and the food experience was much better than the first. Even though my first time was 10/10, this tops it. Each dish is full of flavors and spices that leave you wanting more. The Rani Kachori was my favorite dish of the night, but each plate we ordered was amazing. I highly recommend breaking your meal down into 3 courses so you are able to try everything and not get too full. The only issues I have is that the service can be a bit better as the waiters are not very attentive of your needs unless you wave them down. Also, we were told we’d have a time limit on our table which we did not follow since I find that ridiculous for the amount we spent. Also, where you’re out, you want to enjoy your time, not be rushed out. Aside from that, we food was 11/10.

Food was very good but service was disappointingly rude for such a high end experience. We were told when we arrived that they had another reservation coming in two hours, something they hadn’t told us beforehand. One of our dishes never came, server disappeared on us never offering to refill our waters (we actually had to go grab the jug ourselves) and we were rushed out of there without being asked if we wanted dessert. The server just brought us the bill and told us there was a huge line outside. Won’t be going back.

Food was good. Patrani macchi and thecha paneer was good. Onion bhajia were onion rings! Huge difference ! Only soutj asian will know. Taste was good ut cant make a bhajia wrong? Can you? Hence low rating. This restaurant has a serious problem with service staff being too personal to a point to make my guests uncomfortable. The staff is annoyingly condescending to force you in to buying something you dont want. We had ordered jhinga and we eat it with naan . Even the curry. But this wait staff kept coercing us into steamed rice and mist of it got wasted. Some privacy and boundry should be good. One good thing though was that the staff coukd speak my guests native indian language which was seperate from hindi. So the elderly visitors with low english were able to express themselves. Please work on your service. Dont make it chaotic or too much personal question. Understand the clients. We dont come to restairants to give out personal details to wait staff or to soend the evening chatting with wait staff. We need to be able to chat with our group!
