Served wine in a cracked wine glass; well done filet mignon was mostly charcoal.
We were seated very quickly. Our server Arnoud was very nice, and attentive. He gave us complimentary soup & a dessert for my cousins birthday. It was our first time trying lamb we ordered the lamb special medium. My cousins was cooked closer to a medium rare and mine was a medium well, aside from the temperature differences the taste was still very good. I could not afford to come here regularly , but I will definitely consider it for my next special occasion.
Wonderful food & unique menu! Surprised it wasn't packed! Friendly wait staff, valet, reception, etc. All around great customer service. And the food was amazing.
Overall a great place to have a business meeting or hang with a friend at the bar.
The service was great. The server provided great food and drink suggestions.
So glad we happened upon this place on-line. Had been turned down at a few restaurants near our hotel and needed something nice but also close as on foot. We had invited friends to join us and no-one was disappointed!
Dry good overall. A bit high in price, but overall quality was very good.
Think it should be clear on their menu that dinner doesn’t start till 6. I enjoyed their brunch menu. The food was great, the service was just ok.
Best dining and custom service I have ever had. I will return.
In general, just underwhelming. Food was not seasoned well, presentation was sloppy, and service was well below average. I expected more from the Ritz.
Just had lunch which was on a brunch menu. I found the menu limited. My burger was good but pricey and did not compensate for lack of service. The value of my brunch wasn't there given price, taste, and lack of service. When back in Atlanta I will try dinner there to see if it is better than lunch because they have a great rating.
Fabulous steak, melt in your mouth tender. Attentive wait staff.
My husband and I booked AG for a Valentine's dinner on a Friday evening. Given the high reviews, it was interesting to see that the restaurant was not very busy. By Thursday evening when we booked our reservation, there were still MANY slots open. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our time there. It was nice to not feel rushed, and our server, Phillip, was very kind and attentive. We ordered the pate, the she crab soup and the french onion soup to start. The pate was pretty decent, but there was hardly enough bread to match the little jar of pate. The she crab soup was very good--creamy with lovely chunks of crab. The french onion soup was a little sweet--sweeter than I'd prefer. For our entrees, my husband went with the boneless ribeye (14oz), and I had the filet (8oz). Both were cooked perfectly. For sides, we ordered the truffle fries and the creamy spinach, and both were very good. Honestly, AG is a simple steakhouse--no fancy crusts or marinades on their steaks. There are a few sauce options, but the bearnaise (which is decent) comes standard. Thus, the food was not incredibly memorable. The ambiance, care and attentiveness of the staff is what made it a better and more memorable experience.
Daniel was excellent. The food and atmosphere was great!!
Nice place but vastly overpriced and limited entrée selections even though the night we were there they offered two additional items not usually included on the menu. Shop around, much better offerings mere steps away.
Great food, great service and great staff! We will dine there again.
Visit there for the first time and I must say I was very impressed with everything from getting out the car in valet to valet walking me and my wife to the door being greeted by the nice Jennifer who was the host that night and the experience got even better after we sit at table Matt was our sever great job he give me and my wife wonderful experience the food was amazing I had New York Prime my wife had lamb chops
I absolutely love this restaurant. Even on the most crowded day, they make you feel incredibly special. Food is always great and priced just right. I make it a frequent stop each week. It helps to rebalance my life. Great food and people can certainly help cope with life's stresses. Thank you AG.
Great food and service. Definitely not a cheap dinner, but worth the price
The ambiance. The service. The best restaurant in the city!! And the food is amazing!!
Excellent restaurant! The food and personnel were awesome. My wife and I will definitely be going back on our next visit to Atlanta. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Upon being seated, it took 20+ minutes for us to have drinks besides water. We alerted our waiter that we needed to leave within an hour and forty-five minutes to make it to a show. Unfortunately, our meal came after this timeframe and we never even got our salads. To top it off, the pasta dish was not very good. While the waiter did comp some of our meal and drinks, the cost wasn't worth the service and the manager chose to disappear without ever stopping by to apologize or acknowledge our issues. This was the first and last time I will ever visit AG.
Very nice but on the pricey side
Très bon service
Nourriture bonne mais rien d’exceptionnel
Prices are a little steep but I wanna say that’s par for the course around here. Food was great as was server. Been here multiple times and will continue to be a patron
Everything was beautiful and everyone we came into contact with were extremely nice. Thank you for making it a special night to remember.
The rest of a restaurant is how they perform at full capacity. I don’t give them a break for being busy. I still expect good food and good service. We were very disappointed. Our waiter spoke very few words, did not greet us with a welcome he simply said, what do you want to drink. I had to flag hi down to order food and get refills on my drink. The entire time we were made to feel like it was a real bother to have us dining there. There was a manager type person who was making sure things were set well and moving a long as they needed to turn tables but no one was noticing that lack of service.
Fabulous dining experience. Server was awesome, food delicious. Noise was louder than it probably is on a daily basis (Super Bowl weekend). Will definitely return.
Great food and ambience, but Matt, our waiter, made the difference. He's been w the Ritz for about 8 years - 7 in Amelia Island and 1 in ATL. The difference in high-end food establishments is relatively small in my opinion. It is the service the differentiates it for us. Matt was spot-on in every regard...especially patience...we were w friends we hadn't seen in twenty years. Go the AG for something slightly different than the stuffy steakhouse and ask for Matt.
Very basic dishes with little sophistication. A lot of salt added with overdrenched salads.
A fantastic spot for a special occasion. Steaks were perfect and the ambiance is cozy and quiet, which is all too rare these days!
Anniversary.... they gave special attention and focus for our occasion. They went over the top to make it memorable and special. Food is delicious and presentation was perfect. Service was top notch.
Waited a long time for entrees to be served, even though the restaurantwas not full. Chive cheese biscuits served as a bread basket were delicious. Entree portions small and lacked flavor. Parmesan cheese missing from parmesan, truffle fries that had a bitter, oily flavor (inedible). Not a creative or quality experience.
Unfortunately both the food and the service were truly not good during a late night solo dinner at AG. Things started off well but quickly deteriorated as servers and runners both attended almost exclusively to setting up the dining room for the next day’s breakfast. The salmon was very dry and cut into circular cutlets (?) and the food took a long time to arrive. They seem to need new management overall.
Fantastic food, and even better service. Matt Audet the waiter is fantastic. Brian the somolier had wonderful recommendations and tableside manner as usual.
Dinner started poorly as bartender Janna/Yanna (not sure of spelling) missed the glass in pouring the bottle of WillaKenzie pinot noir we ordered.
Experience worsened as wrong potato came out with my salmon.
She obviously needs more training.
Not my expectations for dining and staying at the Ritz-Carlton.
My wife’s burger was way oversalted with some seasoning. Her salad was fresh and tasty.
Waiter was good, food good. Thank you!
