    Great food. Wonderful service. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful in selecting a meal from the menu as it was our first time eating at a Mexican restaurant. Many different dishes to choose from The interior of the restaurant was clean , modern and inviting. Great ambience. Great drink list if you are looking for margaritas. Recommend making reservations especially on a Friday. Appeared to have many regular repeat customers.

    Seated right away as we had a reservation (highly recommended for a weekend visit). Server was attentive but not intrusive; gave us enough time to decide on our choices, and eat them. Drinks were good, food was average - we expected a little more of the unique flavors of a specialty Mexican restaurant. Pricy, too. Maybe it's post-covid costs. Would recommend the restaurant, but for us it's a one-and-done.

    This was my second time attending in two weeks, and I must comment on the lack of consistency. I went for a lunch date two Saturdays ago with my husband and son. The three tacos we each ordered were fulfilling and delicious. The serving of meat per taco was moderate and satisfying. My girlfriends and I meet up monthly for dinner, supporting our locally owned business in the downtown core. They had suggested we go to La Hacienda, but since we've been there often, I suggested we cancel that reservation and go to Agave instead. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a disappointment, to say the least. The tacos we ordered had maybe a tablespoon of meat per taco and were smothered in sauce. All in all, we were in and out within 40 minutes of sitting down, with no offer of refills for the cocktails we ordered. It was a very rushed experience overall. I can't say I'll ever suggest going here again. Consistency is what keeps the locals coming back!

    Diablo Shrimp was good but didn't expect them with "shells on" in a sauce. Very messy & would not order again. I'm hoping the Chef forgot to remove them & they are not always served this way.

    Our server was amazing. Fish tacos are great. Any of the tequila based martini’s are so good! My wife had a pumpkin spice one, she loved it.

    Overall it was great experience. The vegan empanadas were amazing and both of us enjoyed our dinners. Although it was a little pricey, I also understand that location and overage must be difficult to contend with, and so the price can be overlooked in favour of the experience.

    Very good authentic Mexican food. I found there to be a lot of up charges on things. For different choice of tacos etc. I will be going back again to try some other menu items. The Tres leche cake was to die for !!

    Good food, great music and service. We had the appetizer plate and chorizo tacos. Everything was good, but Martin has more authentic tacos at la Mesita. Definitely ask for the house made hot sauce- the hot habanero is great!

    The guacamole was great. The tacos were good but a side would have been nice. The margaritas were just okay. The decor was really nice, as were the dishes and glassware. We would go back.
