Our bread is baked in a wood fired oven from our own stone milled red fife wheat.
We choose local farms and use only sustainable fisheries.
We work closely with our friends at farm + field butchers.
Delicious food, beautiful space. Those Benny’s definitely need to be served with a steak knife to get through the baguette, but I think I’d be happy to just get my hands in there if it had come down to it... yum.
My favourite place for brunch in Victoria - new items of the menu keeps it fresh.
Wonderful food elegantly plated. Wine information helpful, good service
We started with Oysters that were less than tasty. Everything else was tasty and well presented.
Amazing food, everything felt thought out and for a purpose. Very knowledgeable staff that knew every part of the menu they provide!
We had an amazing experience at Agrius Restaurant. Wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable staff who attended to our every need at a relaxed leisurely pace.
Love this place. Exquisite food, gorgeous presentation, impeccable service! We took my mother-in-law to dinner. She's from Montreal and loves fine dining. She was impressed! We'll definitely be back (this was our second visit) and we always recommend Agrius to people who ask for the best place to dine in Victoria.
Food at Agrius is excellent. Always enjoy having a meal there with family and friends
This place is awesome! So charming and quaint! Our waitress, Nicki, was excellent and very informative. You could taste the quality of ingredients in every bite. We had the albacore tuna tartar, the octopus, and the hanger steak. All were outstanding. It’s the best restaurant I’ve been to in Victoria.
Excellent service and the food was wonderful. We enjoyed the sharing concept.
Always a great experience at Agrius. Their standards for the food are high and the serving staff is always attentive. We'll be back again and again.
Still my favorite restuarant in any city for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Our Sunday brunch was good but not as great as our previous Sunday brunch. We both ordered the scrambled eggs with morel mushrooms that came with a leafy side salad and 2 slices of toast. The price was $18 each. The eggs were not flavorful. The leafy salad just lettuce with no taste. I am not sure if a dressing was added. The toast was excellent. We each ordered a tea with our meal. The total bill with tip was over $50. Given the portions and blandness, it should have been much better. The service was excellent and we like the feel of the place. It is an easy walk from our church and makes a great post-service place to visit. I am not sure if it is value for the money.
Innovative, delicious, and fresh food. The herb salad , spaghetti with morels, and the lentil tempe were fantastic. The eggplant dish was a disappointment: greasy and lacking in flavor. Our sever was inattentive and a bit crabby but not enough to ruin a very fine meal.
Wonderful dinner. Great variety on the menu. Excellent house made charcuterie, great seasonal veggies, great drink list. Super friendly and helpful staff.
Tried the sauerkraut pancakes, which was delicious and beautifully plated. Didn’t love having to pay for each cup of tea, but otherwise it was a wonderful meal. Would definitely go back again!
I have brunch at Agrius quite regularly, both on my own and with friends. It's consistently excellent on all fronts. The few times something isn't quite right they make it right, no questions. The staff is particularly noteworthy: efficient yet always friendly. Love it, and I recommend it to others all the time.
This restaurant had been recommended by more than a few people while we were staying in town. Wow! Everything tasted fresh and just oh-so-good! Will be back next tine we’re in town.
Delicious for brunch. Beautiful baked goods.
Food was great. Our server Gale was awesome. We had a dog and a table of kids next to us, which is normally not a big deal, just we were expecting a different environment, so took away from our experience. Also there were other spots, so would have been nice of them to put us further away. We did the 12 meal prix fixe menu with wine pairing. Food was great, the wine pairing was ok. The wine was good but for 75 a head you really only get four glasses each.
Probably the best restaurant Victoria. Don't miss this place
Absolutely amazing! At first I wasn't entirely sure as some of the menu items I saw online were a bit more "exotic" than my pallett cares for, but was so happy at the updated choices offered the night we dined there! Service was fabulous, the food was crazy good: hangar steak, pork belly, endive salad, Halibut cheeks. Portions are perfect for sharing and not overly priced. The bread was so yummy! The only thing I wish is that they had a chocolate option in their dessert selection (first world problems). Would definitely go back!!!
Empty restaurant and we are seated first. A second 2-top is seated directly beside us (tables are very close) which seemed unnecessary - they could stagger the reservation times and seats better.
Food was okay but not as good as it used to be. Won't be back.
19 yr anniversary
This was hands down one of the best and most interesting dining experiences we have had in a while. The chef offers an menu that is inventive and delicious. Definitely select the “try them all” small plate option. The service was professional and very warm. Highly recommend it!
While I would recommend Agrius, it would be with provisos. For someone who is gluten-intolerant,
the choices are limited. The quality of ingredients and the flavours of what we did order, were excellent and it is on this basis that I would recommend Agrius. The restaurant is very noisy and while it was not that busy, it was difficult to get the server's attention.
Food was great, the Seaside Caesar was amazing! It’s a beautiful space, and the smell of cinnamon buns wafting though the restaurant was a nice touch!
I loved the KimChi pancakes with Roasted Pork Belly. Delicious. My guest thoroughly enjoyed the Classic Benny. She asked for the eggs to be scrambled and they did. The service was excellent. We purchased a dozen pastries to go. They were amazing.
We had the charcuterie plate which was ample for 2 people and had quality meats, but not cheese. We also had a dozen fresh oysters which were very fresh.
We were rushed cause we had theater tickets, but had we had more time we would have had dessert.
Fabulous dinner. Kitchen tasting menu - 12 dishes: appetizers, salads, mains, and desserts. Shared tapas style. Every dish and wine pairing was a flavour and texture experience. Perfect service and great atmosphere.
I never been disappointed. .
Delicious food and great space!
Food was 10/10. Coffee was not great.
As always - fantastic food, inspired cocktails and a great atmosphere. Definitely at the very top of restaurants in Victoria.
Unique food. Great service. Great cocktails.
The service was pretty good for the main part except that the patrons who were seated next to us, received bread way before we did, and I wasn't sure if we were going to even get some and so I asked. Also, it was extremely warm in the restaurant, and I did mention it to the server who opened the door, which I really appreciated.
Fantastic experience ...the food is some of the best you’ll find in Victoria. And that is high praise.
Petit séjour sur l’Île de Vancouver en amoureux!
Their steak Tartare is incredible!
We had a fabulous meal aand will be back ASAP!
Love the creative and organic approach to food. While descriptions may sound complicated, our meal was still approachable and above all delicious!!!
