   The food was phenomenal. However, this is an establishment that's very well lit up, lights everywhere, besides us, there were two other guests sat at the far end of our table because we went on a tuesday and it was close to empty, as I was taking pictures of my meal, not even up to a minute, this security guy that had been watching us from when we got in rushes up to me and tells me my flash is too bright and disturbing even though it had only being five seconds of the video and the guests at the far right to us didn't even look cos they didn't notice. I asked for a recommendation of anything sweet as we looked at the wine menu, and the waiter automatically assumed we wanted cocktails even though I didn't even have a cocktail menu in my hands, I'm very sure there are sweet wines.

   Our third dinner experience! Definitely one of my favourite Ottawa restaurants! As a world traveller and international self proclaimed foodie this resto is a Ten! Service, ambience, FOOD, cocktails! It’s a gem and Ottawa is lucky to have it!!

   Beautiful space, elegant design, comfortable banquettes. Very quiet on a Friday night. Service is professional and attentive. Food is well prepared, but falls short of the expectations set by the ambiance of the room. Bannock was very tough and extremely greasy. Pork Belly was a healthy sized portion but lack the crispiness you would expect, sauce to meat ratio was unbalanced. It was also tough and good have been more tender. The desserts were very good.

    Beautiful atmosphere. Very professional and kind staff. Stunning food presentation. And most of the food was delightful. My only negative comment is about the wagyu beef that we had last night. It wasn't horrible, but if I had not ordered it myself, there's no way I would have guessed it was wagyu. It tasted and had the texture of an inexpensive cut of beef. The truffle soup and the mushroom ice cream definitely stood out as the stars of our meal. Innovative and delicious. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

    Great atmosphere, overall professional dining etiquette, plating was exceptional, menu had a great selection, we had 2 appetizers & 4 entrees. The entrees had a ton of creativity but for the price point they did not blend well together on a plate. Seemed more like a performance of skill than a collaboration of flavors. The wagyu was also more along the lines of a quality filet. Very nice, but didn't take our breath away. Lobster was the best item on the menu.
