The price of the Tasting Menu is $225 per person (plus taxes) and the deposit secures your booking and is fully applied to your bill. This service is available per table only. Please allow us to accommodate any allergies by notifying us in the reservation notes. Reservations must be made at least a day in advance. This experience is available from Tuesday to Saturday only at 6.30PM seating. This reservation can be canceled for full refund by calling Aiāna at least 3 business days in advance.

I had the wagyu beef burger. The burger was very nice but the croissant was practically burnt. I didn’t expect that for a restaurant at this level. The mushroom toast was nice and my colleague’s salmon was good.

The menu failed to convey the dish and the server had to explain what it actually was. An upscale restaurant serving a battered cod and oysters is just an easy way out. Don’t call something a salad if it’s a mousse and is served in a martini glass. Both the appetizer crab “salad” and 2 orders of scallops were over salted. The accompanying veggies t and little touches were excellent. The staff attentive and highly professional. This restaurant has potential, but needs development.

Aiana was an excellent experience with some fantastic food. The ambiance was classy, yet modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was some of the best we have had with Chefs course meals, and the cocktails were on point. We would highly recommend as long as you understand the price point. It was very convenient knowing the gratuity was included and the staff makes a living wage.

This restaurant has made strides in the last couple of years. When I first visited in 2021, it appeared to be a work in progress. At the time, the wine list looked as though it had been assembled and priced by someone with no experience in fine dining. However, the list now has a more interesting selection with better vintages and it has been priced in a manner more akin to other fine dining restaurants (eg. in 2021, they charged a +/- 400% mark-up on everything, including more expensive bottles, such that Sassicaia, for example, was marked-up from $250.00 to $1,000.00 for the latest vintage at the time; they have now lowered the percentage mark-up on more expensive bottles while keep the higher percentage mark-up on less expensive bottles, as it typical). Credit where due here. The food is also now more inspired and generally just better than I recall. Only down side was the temperature at our table (it is late November and it felt as though a vent was blowing cold air).

This was an amazing night to spend our last night in Ottawa. The space is gorgeous and the food’s presentation and flavour was exceptional. Thankyou Ellie for looking after us so well. Everything was really good and perfectly presented. My husband had the wags steak which he thought could have been more tender and it was only Luke warm. We had a B52 coffee which was served in a regular coffee cup. We have always had them served in larger glass mugs for a fancier drink. This was our second time and although it is a beautiful, quiet restaurant with pretty amazing service, we like our food hot. I think the food should be served on hot plates. Lynda

First lunch experience at Aiana: the food was exquisite (we had duck and salmon), and the waitress knowledgeable, professional and attentive. Every dish had a special touch, was cooked to perfection, fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The sommelier concocted an amazing whiskey sour. The cooking team’s skills and attention to detail could be observed in the open back kitchen: they are clearly there to please the palate. For dessert, we indulged in the Nanaimo bar reinvented, wishing I could go home with a bucket of the special mushroom ice cream (to die for!). Mignardises wrapped up the experience nicely. Loved the contemporary style and vibe of Aiana. Fantastic venue for a business lunch or tête-à-tête, after work drink going into dinner. Thankful to have Ainana downtown (bonus for being open for lunch).

Excellent service and food. Presentation of the food was amazing and the taste was also fantastic. The service is one of a kind. My server for the night was Sean and he was excellent. Would recommend anyone to go here.

Overall a fantastic experience with particularly outstanding service and nice touches (chefs amuses bouches). Only disappointment was the Cod main dish which was underwhelming for the price, and not much more than a fancy fish n chips without the chips. Thanks a lot for a memorable experience!

Aiāna is an incredible overall experience. We did the 10 course tasting menu and every course was absolutely delicious. Every course was unique and definitely stood out on it’s own. But not only is the food amazing, the ambiance is exquisite. The decor is stylish, the music is perfect and at the perfect volume. The staff take their roles very seriously and deliver an outstanding dining experience. We’ve travelled the world and dined in many fine dining restaurants and this is one of, if not THE, best! And we’ve dined here several times, once for New Years Eve, and they have delivered every time!

Mains were the fagottini and Wagyu beef. The fagottini was stuffed with prosciutto, zucchini, ricotta and Boursin cheese plus chives. They were incredibly rich and tasty. Fabulous! It was American Wagyu cooked absolutely perfectly as ordered. It came with mushroom filled puff pastry, carrot and leak. What a great combination. We ordered a 2017 Tangram by Durbanhills Hills. It went delightfully well with our meals. The sommelier did a nice job in assisting us with options. Clearly our mains were opposites in terms of match a single wine. I do want to remind people that the prices for food and wine are inclusive of service so it is not really as expensive as you initially think. I wish more restaurants would go this route. The service from start to finish was absolutely outstanding. The restaurant interior is amazing with good spacing between tables. Definitely highly recommended.

Our choice of the set menu at 18:30 provided a singular dining option, albeit a bit early for my taste. The cuisine showcased delightful flavors with exquisite presentation, though I found it a tad overpriced given current market rates. Considering the inclusive service charge and escalating food costs, it seemed fair. However, the service left much to be desired. Despite a professional demeanor, our server lacked the expected expertise and attentiveness. Descriptions of the dishes were scant, often accompanied by generic comments like "this one is one of the best," leaving us yearning for a more immersive experience. An unfortunate incident occurred when our server, who also served as the host, seated another couple mere inches away from us in an almost empty dining room. This decision significantly impacted the ambiance, as our group of three celebrating a friend's departure was suddenly sharing space with a couple on a first date. The oversight reached its peak when our server mistakenly cleared a partially filled wine bottle, leaving us unable to serve ourselves. Regrettably, he never returned to refill our glasses. In contrast to previous chef's tasting menus I've experienced, the chef remained elusive and failed to make a customary introduction. In essence, while the food was commendable, the overall experience fell short of the expected 5-star standard. Investing over $1000 for three people should guarantee an exceptional evening, yet our encounter was disappointingly average. The establishment could greatly enhance its appeal by refining the service and creating a more personalized, enjoyable atmosphere.
