   We made a reservation for dinner and we were turned away at the door due to a private party being held. Would have appreciated an email or text message cancellation rather than showing up and having to find another place to eat. Absolutely terrible customer service, will not be back.

   Food was amazing, drinks were below average, was charged for a “large party tip” for having a group of 4 and was not notified of this. Only noticed after I asked for a printed receipt after where I was then notified there was a one card policy after we asked for the check. Only to see the waitress was tipped twice.

   The food was mostly cold. The items on their menu, that we had to scan with our phones to access, were unavailable and we had to purchase items individually, which costs more. After about half an hour, a deejay started playing music at club levels. It was 10:30 in the morning.

   I’ve never written a review of a restaurant in my life, but I felt like this was necessary. I’m not sure what is going on at the moment with this restaurant, but the food options were limited, the table was sticky, the bathroom was a complete mess and the service was horrible. I’ve been to Ainsworth before in the past, and it was NOT the same. I took a few visitors who were in town to the Ainsworth thinking it would be a wonderful experience. The photos portrayed on Social Media & their website are not realistic. I would recommend choosing any other restaurant over Ainsworth. I felt embarrassed that I suggested this restaurant to visitors. I sincerely hope they get out of the “funk” they’re currently in and return back to what was once amazing!

   I was so excited for brunch at the Ainsworth… just to leave SO disappointed. We arrived for our reservation on time and waiting 15 minutes just to be seated. There were plenty of tables open just no one to assist us. When we arrived inside we noticed signs that they were remodeling, this is completely understandable but was not mentioned any where else. We booked this specific location for all the photo opportunities as we were on a bachelorette trip. They no longer had their Nashville sign on the wall, the greenery portion of the wall, the picture frames… nothing! I would have liked to been made aware of this before arriving for our reservation. It was not included anywhere on the website. After waiting forever to be seated we were finally taken to a DIRTY table. We had to brush food off of the seat before we could even sit down. The worst part is once we were sat we waited 30 minutes to even be greeted by a server! For a highly recommended brunch spot I expected more. By the the time a server came over we were starving. We had to ask her to wipe off our dirty table and her response was “yeah I’m not sure why they sat you here because someone was just here”. Our server was not knowledgeable of the menu at all. She even asked us what came on certain items!! The food was good but did not make up for all the other issues we had. For the price, I do not recommend.

   We made a reservation for 5:30pm. We received a text the day before to confirm the reservation. When we arrived, there was a sign on the door stating they would not open until 8pm. Very poor communication.

    We came to Nashville for a bachelorette party, and wanted to have a nice dinner before going out to Broadway. When we got there we were taken to a room where the tables and chairs were scattered and no where to sit. When someone finally came to check on us and put the tables together we ordered drinks. We then did not receive our drinks until an hour later. There was also a private party going on and the music was so loud that we could not hear the person next to us talk. This is all very disappointing because I made reservations 2 weeks in advance. The service was horrible, and the food was not good enough to wait 2 hours and pay $400 for. I would not recommend this restaurant. I would rather eat at McDonalds.

    We had reservations for the Ainsworth in Nashville for 8 on a Bachelorette trip this past weekend. I'm not even sure I can confidently give it 1 star. We were seated as soon as we walked in the door at 11 (1 hour after opening at 10). After we were seated within 5/10 minutes we were brought a jug of water, but no glasses. About 10 minutes later we finally saw our waitress who brought us glasses that were clearly dirty (I'm talking sticky, stuff stuck to the glass, not just water marks). To which we asked for new cups and got more 5/10 minutes later and about half were still dirty apparently they didn’t have staff to do dishes, cups or silverware. She finally brought us enough clean cups and any sodas that had been ordered. When some of the group members tried their sprite it tasted like chemicals and was flat, the same with the Cokes ordered. When we brought this to their attention we were never brought replacements so we finally ordered some mimosas and other drinks to try to have something to drink with our meals. Six of our meals were brought out warm, 1 cold, and 1 not brought out. When we asked about the last meal it was finally brought out 10 minutes later. When we went to pay they brought out a small square like machine that only showed the total, not itemization, not tax, not included tip. We went ahead and paid, tipped and asked for the itemized bill twice so that we could venmo and settle up with each other. When she brought the bill it showed that we were being charged for the chemically sodas and a 20% tip was already included prior to what we had added because it didn't show. I finally asked to talk to a manager to get things resolved. She ended up removing drinks and the additional tip we had added that was no where near deserving. Horrible experience, especially for the level of service you would expect given the cost. The table behind us was also a Bachelorette party that had even worse issues.

    Food was overpriced, lacked flavor. Not much for your money. Got our appetizer before our drinks. Took the waitress 20 minutes to come back for sauce for the sliders. Music was way too loud couldn’t even hear the person next to me. Then they made it dark in there while we were still eating. Added 20% gratuity automatically which I don’t think was deserved. Was $250 for 5 people. Would not recommend.

    The best part about yesterday was Johnny and Zinn. We were there for brunch, first issue — I made 1:15pm reservations, sit there about 20 minutes, employees just walked and stared, NOBODY ever said hello or assisted, so we decided to move to the bar. Johnny immediately greeted us and did his best to assist us as he advised it was his 2nd day, you couldn’t tell it was at all! Very helpful and apologetic for the lack of assistance. He assisted until the end of his shift and Zinn jumped right in and he was awesome too. Second issue— for it to be an earlier brunch, there was nothing on the menu besides chicken and waffles. We were not offered a discount, and an apology (besides Johnny and bar staff) no management moving around to check in on your customers, etc. We received no attention about this and the food we received was not even hot (we just decided not to complain at this point). I would never expect this from your establishment, it was a horrible experience. The Mimosas, music, Johnny and Zinn were the best thing about this visit. Lastly the male restroom needed much attention.

    My visit was not great. The service was decent; however, the food was not good. First, I would like to start by saying that the menu was very limited. Despite this initial hurdle, I managed to choose the hangover cure. The meal was called the hangover cure and described as “ Eggs Fried Hard, Sausage, Cheddar, Served on a Buttermilk Biscuit.” First, it was not what expected. The “sausage” looked more like bacon bits, and the cheddar cheese was some sort of white cheddar quest sauce which severely overpowered the sandwich in the worst way. Second, the meal arrived COLD. Our waiter was great and took the meal back, but the temperature still wasn’t great. The brunch cocktails were just as disappointing.the champagne had a terrible after taste. Finally, the music was so loud that you couldn’t engage in conversation. Overall, it really was not the experience I’ve had in the past with Ainsworth.

    I came here for brunch based off pictures I seen on yelp of the nashville location. A lady posted a picture of French toast which was my main reason for coming. I get there and French toast isn’t on the menu so I got steak and eggs instead. I didn’t eat the eggs. We had to ask for silverware which should’ve already been on the table. My friend ordered the hangover cure which clearly states it comes with fried egg and sausage. Her biscuits had bacon and scrambled eggs on it (the menu didn’t say anything about bacon and scrambled eggs on it) so she asked for it to be made like the menu stated. The steak and potatoes were good though! The server stated we had to pay with one card or split the check in half between the 3 of us. I’ve never heard of this. On top of that we had to sit right under a speaker. Which made the music so loud we could barely hear each other talk. I will not be returning unless it’s for dinner. But brunch is a no for me and my girls.

    Booked the Ainsworth for my friend’s bachelorette party and was very disappointed. Had to walk out with the whole party of seven because no one came to greet us at our table for over 20 minutes. The only server interaction we had was a server thinking we ordered fries and we mentioned that order wasn’t ours and how we haven’t gotten a server and she didn’t even mention she would go get one.     With an already limited menu, we were then told at the point of ordering, after already deciding, that they were out of items from this already limited menu. Not only were food items out but bar items as well. We had to go get the waitress multiple times as she was too busy posting selfies and talking at the bar.

    There were seemingly no servers on the floor. The bartenders (who were fantastic) were basically our servers. The food came out cold and soggy, like it had been sitting on the plate for some time. the silverware and glasses were dirty and were asked to be replaced a few times, when we could get some help. We were only a party of four for brunch on a day that was not too busy or packed. The whole place has done a revamp/remodel and it looks to be under new management, which is fine but it shows.

    We made reservations and had to put a credit card on file which I haven’t ever have to do. This was a birthday celebration, we get seated and order drinks, I had to order 3 different before they brought me a drink we didn’t order dinner. After the let down we got our ticket and left.     As someone who works in restaurant marketing, I would suggest updating your Yelp! Our server immediately complained of people trying to order things they see on Yelp that aren’t on the menu and “have never served”. Of course, it’s common to update and change menus, however if your Yelp has pictures of food, uploaded by the business owner, that is not served anymore, do not complain about people trying to order it. Not sure if this establishment has new ownership, but obviously your reputation has gone down hill in the past few months. Being the only table in there on a Sunday night and still have terrible service is not the greatest sign. But the least you can do is update your listings on Yelp, google, etc. to not mislead customers as much as I was.

    We came here for a birthday after a mix-up with another restaurant. The food is fine but it's pricey. We ordered the surprise fries ($17) and they forgot the surprise part... they brought it 10 minutes after we ate the fries. They don't split checks here, so prepare for someone to pay for it all.
