Food was lovely. Especially the Miso Cod was absolutely fantastic. However, the service was extremely poor. The server never checked on our table, never asked if we needed anything, took away the plates without asking, and basically just abandoned our table. Our experience at Akira Back would have been more pleasing if we were assigned with a different server.

Amazing experience from the beginning to end! Sean our server made sure to give us the full Akita back experience and we sampled great food and great drinks! Amazing knowledge of the menu! What can I say? Incredible! I didn’t know Akira was international now I know why! Michelin star with a full belly!

Our experience was great, our server was kind and informative. His voice was deep tho so it was a bit hard to hear him. The food was great, the wagyu tacos were delicious, the wagyu main was incredibly soft, the carpaccio was really good too, and salmon tataki was also very good. The dessert was a unique flavour, we got the lychee mousse and the slush was interesting, we were less inti the dessert but still interesting flavours. overall a great dinner and we will definitely come back again

The service was not great! Our watress was hardly to be seen last night. Whenever we needed st , we had to call out for it. The food was very good Except the fried rice which was very dry .I had better here before. Definitely needs to work on customer service department. I was not impressed when I booked the table either. The host sounded snobby .

This was my second time back at Akira Bak this month. The first visit, I took my new work colleagues from L.A., and they absolutely loved it, and are still raving about it. Last night I took my husband and son for my husbands birthday. We all could not stop commenting on how amazing the food, service and ambience were. The food is just something else. From the flavours to the presentation to the freshness, it was just a plethora of pleasure sensations. I am a big Japanese foodie and I don't think anything has compared. The chef is literally award winning. It is not cheap, but it was all well worth it. I think we ordered almost everything on the menu mind you! We will definitely be back! A must see and experience. 10/10!

Where to start? From the time we were welcomed into Akira Back to our last bite - the experience was nothing less than 5star. As an Italian, we eat with our eyes first. The food was plated beautifully and tasted deliciously. Mama Mia!! The service was excellent. Staff were very polite and extremely knowledgeable with the menus offerings. A memorable evening with a special someone enjoying the cities finest food. Well done Akira Back. I’ll be back soon.
