   We had a delicious meal. Two of us had the lunch time special menu and two had a meal from the a la carte menu. The staff were courteous and the chef cooked spinach without garlic just for me. That was much appreciated and we all felt very pleased with the excellent food. Thank you so much.

   I really enjoyed my visit to Al Molo. The restaurant has a very welcoming feel , my meal was excellent and the waitress was so pleasant and friendly. It was possible to have a really good three course meal at a very reasonable price. I will certainly take friends & family there.

   An Italian restaurant with little classic Italian food on the menu and a lot of fish is unusual. The menu covers a wide range, is friendly to gluten intolerant people and vegans. The wine list is interesting and reasonably varied, an excellent Prosecco. Our chosen dishes were well cooked and presented, the discrete accompaniment to the scallops worth a mention. Excellent service by young but knowledgeable staff. The historic building should however be a museum rather than a restaurant. Highly recommended.

   We arrived quite early in the evening so the restaurant was quite quiet but the atmosphere picked up as our evening went on. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the food was lovely. Not the normal pasta pizza combo you get in most Italian restaurants, can recommend if you’re looking for something a bit different.. Would recommend checking Al Milo out for sure…

    Normally this would be a very easy 5 star but the wait for our mains was very long and when we received them you could tell they had been under a hot plate for a while . We had guests with us who loved the atmosphere and history of the building . We will definitely be back and hopefully it was just a blip.

    Food prices expensive for portion sizes I had two small pieces of Monk fish and small portion of spinach £24. Strangely the Diner had Monk fish and had three pieces of fish!!! Wine by the glass very expensive for mediocre wine £10.95 for 175 measure

The monkfish is sold by weight so sometimes the piece is longer rather than fatter which is why there were three pieces on another diners plate also the price of Monkfish (like most fish) has gone through the roof so the price needs to reflect this. In addition you chose Verdicchio which is one of our more expensive wines by the glass. There are 3 other options before this one to choose from which may have suited you better

    As locals, it was our first visit to Al Molo in Dorchester. The lunch set menu was fabulous..lots of fish and seafood, and great selection. We were very happy with the standard and lovely wine. Really good value at under £20 for 2 courses. Our waitress was personable and efficient. The tables were spacious and comfortable. I highly recommend you go ! It was a real treat, and the historical building is beautiful.

    I booked this restaurant based on the reviews so I was hoping it would be great. I have never been to Dorchester, it was a meeting place for my family between Devon & Tunbridge Wells. As soon as we arrived we had the most fantastic experience, our waitress was delightful and couldn’t be more helpful. We chose a variety of dishes, all were beautifully cooked and presented. My seafood tagliatelle was outstanding. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Al Molo and look forward to our return visit.

    We went for my husbands birthday treat. Although the pricing is a little more expensive than the restaurants at brewery square , the quality and quantity of the dishes served was fantastic.     WOW! Fabulous dishes, that Guiseppe the Chef must feel very proud to serve. We had the scallops to start with which were sweet, fresh and delicious. The Seafood linguine was masterful, tasty, filling and a sauce to die for…OUTSTANDING! The Staff were friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Thank you to Anna who was our wonderful waitress.     Pleasantly surprised, lovely food nice atmosphere and surroundings Good to see Judge Jeffreys being looked after again The food was reasonably priced but perhaps single drinks were a little overpriced , perfectly cooked fish and some nice non fish options , the waiting staff were nice and efficient Would definitely recommend this restaurant

    We booked a table for three - my husband, myself and student-aged daughter. We found the service to be polite and attentive, without being intrusive. The A La Carte menu offered a good deal of choice, and our starters and main courses were all delicious and arrived promptly. We were too full to have puddings but managed a cheeseboard which we really enjoyed. Good wine list based on Italian wines, and the ambience of this recently renovated Grade I listed building was elegant but relaxed, within very characterful rooms. Highly recommended.
