   Went for outdoor late afternoon light food and drinks - greeted and seated immediately. No shade, no umbrellas (not windy) so very warm. Not busy and there were multiple waitstaff, yet they seemed indifferent to actually waiting on patrons - waited over 15 minutes before approached re drinks, unable to flag someone down for refill later...decided not to stay when we were ignored again despite waving and calling out. We were not the only ones ignored. Went indoors to settle tab as couldn't get anyone to bring check either...staff too busy talking to each other. Staff needs to step up their professionalism and respond to patrons

   Location, food and drinks are good for a meal prior to a game at the Garden. I will probably return for other events. However, my issue is that my party was put at a table outside and I'm certain that I didnt request that...it was very windy and wish they wouldve let me know in advance

   I had made a reservation for the outdoor patio for 6 - we had an additional family member join us but when we got to the restaurant I was told they could not accommodate us outside even though my OT requested and I called to confirm in advance. They said they cannot seat more than 6 outside. They gave us an indoor table but it was in the very back by the kitchen which was noisy and the service was very slow with apps and drinks coming out with the meal. I would have appreciated knowing on the website the limit for outdoor (as well as decent indoor) dining limit so I could choose another venue when I learned the seating would be what it was once we were 7 and not 6. Never thought it would be a problem. Will never go back with a party bigger than 6.

   We enjoyed our meal. The food was good and the ambiance was enjoyable. We would have liked a larger selection of menu items. The draft beer selection was varied , but could have been larger.

   The hostess was extremely rude. I booked an outdoor reservation and she told me it was for inside. Waitstaff was nice but extremely slow.

    Very good food and service. Interesting location right smack at the Zakim bridge which can be either exciting or bothersome if you eat outside and do not like the constant fairly loud hum of traffic. The inside is modern, chic and buzzing but not charming and the noise quite overwhelming so if that atmosphere is what you are looking for you will be happy, otherwise take notice.

    I always recommend Alcove to people. I've been here many times and I enjoy it every time. The aesthetic is very peaceful, even if the place is packed. I never feel rushed and the food and drinks are delicious. The menu changes often and they just really care about presentation.

    Great view and ambiance in Alcove. My family and I were a large party and we’re able to accommodate us earlier than our reservation which was helpful and appreciated! Staff was very friendly as well

    I went to Alcove for their Sunday Brunchwith a friend. The Bloody Mary was okey, I wouldn’t go out of my way to get it again. I ordered the French Toast and it was superb. I ordered at side of Home Fries and received French Fries. Our server didn’t return to the table after he took our order until he came and asked if we wanted the check. I informed him of my Home Fries order and he dismissed my comment. My friend ordered the scrambled eggs. It was a huge portion and she had leftovers for dinner. Overall the food was great, atmosphere was beautiful, we sat on the patio. Service could be better, I will be back for some Home Fries, they looked amazing Ms

    I wish I’d asked for everyone’s names, because we were without exception sooooo pleased with each individual we had the pleasure of encountering— from the gentleman who greeted us at the door, to the bar man who knows his cocktails & wine (Greek rosé to start and Basque region wine with dinner), to all the servers. Not to forget the kitchen: the steak was perfection, 1/2 chicken juicy with yummy marinade, potatoes to die for, terrific mousse. And the view! I love the perspective of the Zakim bridge (which reminds me—the Zakim cocktail was sublime). We were eight people celebrating two Northeastern graduates and were pleasantly surprised by the final tab, including cocktails, wine, appetizers, mains, and dessert—about $600. We’ll be back.

    The waiter was very sensitive to an allergy and was attentive without being intrusive. Very nice vibe for a Saturday brunch! Shrimp tacos were excellent!

    A group of us had dinner at Alcove after the Boston marathon. All of the food was excellent! The service was just a bit wonky: forgetting items, not listening to requests, slow as the meal went on. We had a great time though, lovely views, and everyone was friendly.

    I wouldn't be excited to eat here before or after a Celtics or Bruins game or a big concert, but on a Sunday night with no event at TD Garden, Alcove was perfect -- wonderful food, excellent service, music at exactly the right volume. The weather was too uncertain for the outdoor seating (which was open and not very busy), but I'll be back to enjoy the patio.

    This is our "go to" place before Celtics or Bruins games at the Garden. It is a favorite with excellent and creative foos, the best possible service, and a feeling of being in your neighborhood or a great friend's house. We can't recommend it enough!

    Like so many restaurants the ambient music was too load. We had great service and since it wasn’t busy we’re impressed by the manager ( perhaps his name was DJ?) introducing himself.

    The time from seating to food delivery was 45 mins. We were sat on time in an empty restaurant. We ordered 4 salads w/ a protein & soft drinks. Every other table that was seated after us received their meals first. There was no communication on the delays. Really dissatisfied

    Best dining experience we've had since the pandemic started. In this age of not being able to find help they had an abundance of staff who were all professional acting and in appearance, we haven't had that combination in a long time. There were at least five different people who touched our table, from hostess and manager through bus-staff and they were all great. On top of that, the food was outstanding, the best littlenecks we've had ever, perfectly cooked burgers, everything was delicious. Add in excellent cocktails and it was a perfect evening.

    We were celebrating a birthday at Alcove last night for my daughter and from the warm welcome to the attentive staff to the surprise dessert w candle, my daughter, who is in her twenties- said it was the ‘best birthday dinner ever!’ and I would like to think I have cooked some yummy birthday dinners for her in the past but last night at Alcove was her favorite! We will be back! Thank you to Tom the owner and all the team. Extraordinary.

    Nice and close to TD garden and the Museum of Science. Everything about this place is good but the menu is limited. Staff is friendly & accommodating. We had 3 meals and 2 rounds of drinks for around $200. Bolognese, Salmon and crab cake were tasty and just the right amount.
