   Really appreciated our server, he was very helpful, funny and kind. Roasted veggies, pizza and sugar/cinnamon coated doughnuts with custard were so yummy.

   We were situated at the front portion of the room which was somewhat separated from the rest of the space. This was perfect as it reduced the noise level slightly. Our server was attentive but also gave our family enough time to enjoy our meals without feeling rushed. We had the calamari and Caesar salad to start and they were both delicious. My son and I shared the porterhouse and it was amazing! the beef was so tender and the potatoes were nice and crispy. Wonderful experience all around.

   We were really impressed with our server! He mentioned he was newer, but he was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and when it came time for recommendations & answering our questions, he supplied some great info. The food was also all fantastic, especially the feature steak that was on special. The portions were generous, the ambiance was better than we had anticipated , and as first-time diners at Alena we will most definitely be back!

    We had a very lovely dining experience. The service, food and ambiance were wonderful. My husband and I both ordered pasta dishes and they were to die for. Our server Andrew was very attentive and professional. Aside from the noise level, there is nothing that we would have changed about our experience! 😊

    It was our first time at Alena and we weren’t sure what to expect due to some conflicting reviews. We had a party of four, our table location and noise level was good. Our waiter was very friendly and provided us with great service. We all agreed that our drinks, appetizers, main course and desert were superb! We had a wonderful experience over all and highly recommend Alena Rustic Italian!

    Service was slow, food items served out if typical sequence. Waiter was not well informed about specials. Food was bland, required more seasoning. We made the best of the evening in spite not a result of the food and service.

    We chose Alena for a date night and was disappointed considering we’ve ate there before. Service in particular was sub-par. They forgot about us at times. Had to ask was the specials were. Server forgot to bring back the wine list. Also a transformer blew in the neighborhood so they were flustered. On a positive note we and others still got our meals.

    Alena never disappoints, the food is expertly prepared, good value for the higher end ingredients, hearty portions and served hot. I’m glad to see restaurants have rebounded and it was busy, therefore it took a bit longer than usual for our food to arrive. But all the staff were working nonstop, kudos to the Chef, sous chef, kitchen staff, waiting staff and hostess.

    I specifically sought a ‘high top table’ because I have back issues and need to stand. I was disappointed to not see any high top tables when I arrived for my reservation. Food was average.

    Birthday dinner - 6 of us sat at front of the restaurant in that little nook. Was intimate and perfect for 6 people. We had many appetizers and mainly pizza but also the steak and the amazing wild boar which was incredibly tasty! Lots of great cab sav wines too! Always a great place and the servers were excellent!

    We were seated in the “other side”, not the nice dining area. Ordered stuffed olives, they were very dry and bland. Ordered the Alena pizza thinking it would be the signature most popular pizza and it had no taste. Was quite disappointed as I heard amazing things about this restaurant

    Great food. Table in back near kitchen had lots of servers etc going back and forth and around the corner. This made it a less pleasant experience than we’ve had before. Our server was not friendly or attentive.

    Lights are too bright. What happened to candles? Setting is terrible. In the lounge you sit side by side or the corner which isn’t as good as it could be. Food was average.

    Brian was a fabulous waiter and made our dining experience fantastic. Good food and atmosphere. The talented Chef created a vegan pasta for me. Would appreciate to see Vegan options on your menu as many people are eating plant based for health, for the planet, for the animals. Thank you!

    Had to wait 15 mins after our reservation time to get seated. Seated in the breakfast area. Ripped upholstery, not clean, cafeteria-like atmosphere. Portions were small. Food was bland and not fresh. The wait for the food was insane. We were there over 2 hours. Waiter was unapologetic and inattentive. So many better Italian restaurants in the city and in the area.
