Service was very slow. We were seated for 20 min and no once came to wait on us, finally we tracked someone down. The waitress was very kind and said she didn't know we were here or who was supposed to wait on us, and kindly took care of us. I felt like the food was overpriced and the menu was kind of odd. The food was just okay. We were seated on the "enclosed for winter" patio, there were a lot of heaters for the size and it was like a sauna.

Food and service was fantastic!! A little on the pricier side, but the food was worth it. They have about 94 beer taps so that is very impressive. The music was hit or miss… more of a young pop sound sometimes I would say. We were right under the speaker so kind of loud. We were sitting on the open patio by the fireplace and that was really nice. Great ambiance. We will definitely go there again.

So many unexpected pleasantries. I found this place on Facebook and the food is what caught my attention. However upon arriving there is a gas station, a beautiful market with a large variety of unique wines, speciality cheeses and meat, flowers, etc. Then upstairs is the restaurant/ bar; it was surprisingly quiet on a Saturday afternoon considering the college games were on. The food was good and fast. Over 90 taps available. There is a bowling alley there as well and we played an hour worth of games. Overall it was a great experience and fun and I will return soon.

I have never given a poor rating to any place but due to the very poor service given by one waitress in particular we will not be returning. Behavior like that from an adult is unacceptable and we felt like we were inconveniencing her for an error she chose not to clarify. She also only checked on us once while the other two waitresses serving the other tables around us were pleasant and constantly checking up on their tables. Everyone else from the people who seated us to greeting us was pleasant. But this one waitress completely ruined this experience for us. She needs to change her attitude before deciding to pursue a career in the service industry as we’ve never received such poor treatment despite us being polite and patient.

Alex’s Taproom Bistro was a surprise find that we will continue to enjoy on our date nights. The Mediterranean nachos were something completely new to us, fresh ingredients bursting with flavor! We will definitely be back for more. We enjoyed flight of mimosa’s before dinner, so beautiful in presentation and fun! The champagne berry salad with shawarma was flavorful, as were the kabobs. Staff were all pleasant and contributed in making our night out wonderful.

The drinks were very weak. Returned a drink because it was not what I order, but was still charge for it - not good! Fatoudsh (sp- sorry) salad was bland, need more seasoning. Chicken wings were meaty. would recommend the sauce on the side. The daily special of 4 shrimp with sauce was just so -so. Too much coating. The sauce dips were average. The atmosphere was nice outside. Unfortunately, will probably not return for the quality,, pricing and drinks. Wishing you the best.................

Brunch was absolutely incredible there were 5 of us and we ordered a variety of brunch items and everyone at the table was extremely happy! Service was excellent - make sure you go check out the market below - wow!!! Overall a really cool place for brunch would definitely go again!!

Service was great but food was average at best. In addition, make sure you read the fine print when you make a reservation you have to call for bowling. It is not automatically included in the 1 1/2 hour timeslot they give you to rent.

Took the family and we loved it! Food was delicious and service was great! The Mediterranean nachos were a big hit, as were the burgers, salad and wings. Kids menu has plenty of options and the drink menu was loaded with lots of great varieties from beer to cocktails and more, great spot!

Quality of food and drinks was better than most. The menu has something for everyone, even vegetarians like us! Our server was attentive, friendly, and found out answers to our questions that she wasn’t sure of, which is appreciated. Our only complaint was we went for a Sunday dinner and the bar music was blasting music that would be better after say 8:30. We love music, but this was what we considered club music rather than upbeat dinner music since the bar area was empty and the restaurant was full of families and gatherings for dinner. We will definitely go back though - the zouk sauce is worth listening to bad music!

The restaurant was very understaffed - the poor bartender was doing everything- Brendon (I think that was his name) was very apologetic but the poor young man was working his tail off - bartending, serving & cleaning tables. The food was good, but came out in stages. Atmosphere is really nice. But the wait was excessive. Hopefully they can hire more staff soon.

Despite reserving a table inside we were seated in the covered patio where it was quite chilly despite the overhead heating lamps due to the inability to turn off the overhead fans. Food took a long time to to get to the table. It appeared our server was responsible for around 15 tables.

Went for dinner on Mothers Day. Lots of families there and they had the nasty club music at full volume. I know it’s a bar and grill but adjust for the crowd. The kitchen was slow but our food was really good when it arrived. Need more service training-my wine glass had lipstick on it, a quick check would have avoided that. Very little interaction, no attempts to share advice on best menu items or any of that.

We like Alex’s. We have been several times and get Carryout often. On our most recent visit though the music was VERY loud….like club level loud. Made it difficult to talk and seemed inappropriate for a 3 pm dinner on Mothers Day.

The mason jar margarita special was huge, although the taco special was a bit small. Needed at least 3 or 4 for dinner. Nice seating on the porch. Waitress was very helpful an attentive.

We arrived early on a Friday night and were able to get a booth in the bar. The weather was not good for patio but the patio looks very nice. Waitress was very attentive. The cocktails were not super and the one wine I tried was the Alex brand and did not like it at all. Dinner was good. I ordered the Fish and Chips and it was one big piece of fish in an ale batter. A bit too much batter for me but the fish itself was very good.

The food and service were both wonderful. The biggest complaint was the loud music playing; with the high ceilings the acoustics aren’t good making it difficult to carry on a conversation with a table of people.

A group of us went here to celebrate a couple of Birthdays. The table was set in a covered outdoor area with heaters that did not keep you warm. Cold and loud. The service was very slow and she spent most of her time talking at the bar. They were out of the first three beers ordered, which is not good for a tap room! We ordered nachos and bang bang shrimp, both were very good. The fish and chips were very good, the Salmon was good, and the Greek salad is served with no greens the true Middle Eastern style. We waited a very long time for the bill, again she was just talking at the bar. Then we waited while she tried to split the bill, we told her who was with who at the beginning, she made this hard on herself. I will go back for the food, but if I get the same server I will move sections.

We have had an awesome experience and plan to go back for brunch soon. We missed the brunch experience but enjoyed our food, margarita flight and the atmosphere. The wine flight was good too. We only had appetizers but they were very filling and great.

Menu options are what you'd expect for a fun brunch. The food was very good. Drinks were delicious also. Not a lot of wiggle room for things off the menu but they did accommodate a request I made for a liquor switch. :) There is an amazing deli as well- you could probably spend an hour looking at everything. I want to go back for bowling/golf. Such a fun place. Super friendly staff.

I was very disappointed. After seeing the restaurant, on the morning news show I was very excited to make a visit to Alex’s. Although the server was very friendly, service was very slow, the food was subpar and took an hour to arrive. The biggest shock was the price was extremely high for the level of the restaurant. I am glad we tried it. However, we will not be going back.

We were seated in an area that is open air in the summer but enclosed during winter. Unfortunately on a cold windy day as it was yesterday, it was drafty. I would not choose to sit there in the winter again. Food was good but slow to the table. Our server was very nice and made it a point to make sure we were on our way on time to our next commitment. We would definitely eat there again.

Our visit got off to a rocky start, they could not find the wine I ordered. After some delay, Emma, our server and later the bartender visited our table, separately to say they were searching for the wine , they new they had it. Emma showed up with the wine and a smile. Emma was a real treasure, it was obvious that she was there to serve our meal and drinks, but most of all to make sure we were happy. The Boom Boom Shrimp, as always, was tasty and a great value. The rest of our meal was also quite good. The only complaint was the awful music and how loud it was. Last week I had dinner with a client and hos wife. They both enjoyed the food and both said, because of the music they would never be back.
