   The restaurant was very understaffed - the poor bartender was doing everything- Brendon (I think that was his name) was very apologetic but the poor young man was working his tail off - bartending, serving & cleaning tables. The food was good, but came out in stages. Atmosphere is really nice. But the wait was excessive. Hopefully they can hire more staff soon.

   Despite reserving a table inside we were seated in the covered patio where it was quite chilly despite the overhead heating lamps due to the inability to turn off the overhead fans. Food took a long time to to get to the table. It appeared our server was responsible for around 15 tables.

   Went for dinner on Mothers Day. Lots of families there and they had the nasty club music at full volume. I know it’s a bar and grill but adjust for the crowd. The kitchen was slow but our food was really good when it arrived. Need more service training-my wine glass had lipstick on it, a quick check would have avoided that. Very little interaction, no attempts to share advice on best menu items or any of that.

   We like Alex’s. We have been several times and get Carryout often. On our most recent visit though the music was VERY loud….like club level loud. Made it difficult to talk and seemed inappropriate for a 3 pm dinner on Mothers Day.

   The mason jar margarita special was huge, although the taco special was a bit small. Needed at least 3 or 4 for dinner. Nice seating on the porch. Waitress was very helpful an attentive.

    We arrived early on a Friday night and were able to get a booth in the bar. The weather was not good for patio but the patio looks very nice. Waitress was very attentive. The cocktails were not super and the one wine I tried was the Alex brand and did not like it at all. Dinner was good. I ordered the Fish and Chips and it was one big piece of fish in an ale batter. A bit too much batter for me but the fish itself was very good.

    The food and service were both wonderful. The biggest complaint was the loud music playing; with the high ceilings the acoustics aren’t good making it difficult to carry on a conversation with a table of people.

    A group of us went here to celebrate a couple of Birthdays. The table was set in a covered outdoor area with heaters that did not keep you warm. Cold and loud. The service was very slow and she spent most of her time talking at the bar. They were out of the first three beers ordered, which is not good for a tap room! We ordered nachos and bang bang shrimp, both were very good. The fish and chips were very good, the Salmon was good, and the Greek salad is served with no greens the true Middle Eastern style. We waited a very long time for the bill, again she was just talking at the bar. Then we waited while she tried to split the bill, we told her who was with who at the beginning, she made this hard on herself. I will go back for the food, but if I get the same server I will move sections.

    We have had an awesome experience and plan to go back for brunch soon. We missed the brunch experience but enjoyed our food, margarita flight and the atmosphere. The wine flight was good too. We only had appetizers but they were very filling and great.

    The meat in our burgers were not cooked as requested. Not enough help to service the taproom and patio. Everything is overpriced in the store and on the menu.

    Menu options are what you'd expect for a fun brunch. The food was very good. Drinks were delicious also. Not a lot of wiggle room for things off the menu but they did accommodate a request I made for a liquor switch. :) There is an amazing deli as well- you could probably spend an hour looking at everything. I want to go back for bowling/golf. Such a fun place. Super friendly staff.

    I was very disappointed. After seeing the restaurant, on the morning news show I was very excited to make a visit to Alex’s. Although the server was very friendly, service was very slow, the food was subpar and took an hour to arrive. The biggest shock was the price was extremely high for the level of the restaurant. I am glad we tried it. However, we will not be going back.

    We were seated in an area that is open air in the summer but enclosed during winter. Unfortunately on a cold windy day as it was yesterday, it was drafty. I would not choose to sit there in the winter again. Food was good but slow to the table. Our server was very nice and made it a point to make sure we were on our way on time to our next commitment. We would definitely eat there again.

    Our visit got off to a rocky start, they could not find the wine I ordered. After some delay, Emma, our server and later the bartender visited our table, separately to say they were searching for the wine , they new they had it. Emma showed up with the wine and a smile. Emma was a real treasure, it was obvious that she was there to serve our meal and drinks, but most of all to make sure we were happy. The Boom Boom Shrimp, as always, was tasty and a great value. The rest of our meal was also quite good. The only complaint was the awful music and how loud it was. Last week I had dinner with a client and hos wife. They both enjoyed the food and both said, because of the music they would never be back.

    Went for brunch. 3/4 of us ordered eggs Benedict and the eggs were over cooked on all of them while the dish itself was cold. Hollandaise sauce was pretty salty. The potatoes were really good. The flights were meh. Very small cups so you’re essentially paying $12 for a singular drink. The service was okay. Nothing special. The flights were cute but taste was nothing special. Bloody Mary mix is VERY pickly. Overall I probably won’t be back.

    The hummus was very good. Enjoyed the bottle of Alex cab. We ordered the chicken kabob which we had before and it was delicious. This time it was undercooked and the rice had a chemical taste. They politely remade it but it wasn’t very good even the second time around.

    My husband always enjoys the pork shank. He says it’s the best he’s ever had I always get the salmon and it’s amazing as well. I love the fresh vegetables. Last night we also had coconut shrimp, which was a special. It was delicious. We sat out on the balcony, and it was warm and very nice. We always enjoy our dinners at Alex’s.

    The venue was great, we only had beers while bowling, little slow on the service but very attentive when they were around. The market on the 1st floor was very impressive. If we lived closer to Clarkston, we would go there for everything. Amazing

    Christmas Eve dinner, so not expecting much - made reservation several weeks ahead of time and were seated next to the bowling lanes, which were being used. Food quality was good, service was ok, but value for price paid was not good - nice place for a group to enjoy the activities, but not for a nice family dinner!     Food was delicious. Ordered chicken shawarma and it was so flavorful. Wait staff is very friendly. We loved the ambiance however, when bowlers are active, it’s a little noisy even though they are down the hall.

    It was a fun, interesting venue. It was a gas station outside...full on market, coffee / gelato shop on the bottom floor with a nice stock of wines and liquor for sale. Upstairs was a 4 lane bowling alley, virtual reality room, a golf room, a bar area as well as outside seating. The food was amazing, wine list was good along with a brewery listing of beers to choose from. Go have a great time!!! We did and hubby even went back the next day with his friend.

    This is like the best place. It has so much going on but it’s just fantastic at so much. The best thing on the menu is the lamb sliders! I’m obsessed! And they do a very good job with the salmon and sea bass. Also the salads are so worth it!
