   Had reservation for breakfast. Waited over an hour for our food, no communication about status of our meal except kitchen was backed up, yet 3 other parties came in later than us and were served timely. Served French fries instead of breakfast potato’s as offered. No apologies from staff or management.

   Staying in the area to celebrate a friends 40th and this was the perfect gem for a celebratory dinner out. Staff was amazing and knowledgeable. Food was absolutely delicious.

   I have always enjoyed the lunch at Allie's but never thought about dinner. It will be at the top of mind going forward. My wife and I enjoyed a fine meal with excellent service throughout. Can't wait to sample some more of the menu!

   I've walked by this restaurant many times and finally made a reservation to check it out. Many reviews said the food was salty, but we didn't experience that, and that the service took a long time, we did experience that. We sat by the window and enjoyed the people watching and the quant town vibes, the food was delicious and our wait staff was really great. I'd recommend this restaurant for the experience of being in downtown Manchester and being around nice people to eat some good food.

   Apps were good but my meal, the Caribbean Bouillabaisse, was so salty it was inedible. I didn’t ask for a discount or anything but our very nice waitress volunteered that she couldn’t take the price of it off because her manager wasn’t there, which seemed odd. I tipped over 20% on the whole meal regardless.

    First time dining here. They seemed a little short staffed and the service was very slow but we weren’t in a rush. Our server was friendly. The food and drink were fantastic. We will definitely go back.

    My family and I had so much fun at Allie's Beach Street Cafe! We booked it last minute for a spur of the moment birthday get-together, and the staff really made it a great experience. There is a great variety of drinks, apps, and meals. I personally got a hibiscus-flavored champagne, a mule, and a French dip sandwich with fries. Everything was delicious, and I would love to go back. Our table had a lovely view of the harbor, which was a bonus. Our waitress was super nice and accommodating for what I'm sure was our somewhat rambunctious party. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone who is considering going!

    It’s always a culinary adventure when we visit Allie’s Beach Street Cafe, but that’s not to say that diners can’t find the tried and true items such as delicious burgers and roasted chicken. Wine pairing suggestions are always spot-on, and special menu entrees lead to memorable meals!

    Extended stay in Manchester. Allie & her team were great! We were there for Breakfast, lunch & dinner most of the week. Recommend the Eggs Benedict, smoothies and Salmon!

    Ate at Allie’s two of the three days that we were visiting the area. Salmon, swordfish, short ribs, quinoa bowl the first night: all excellent. Breakfast burrito, Champignon Croissant (mushrooms, goat cheese and egg on a croissant), French toast and a la crate items (including fruit salad) the next morning. Everything was fresh, perfectly cooked and served piping hot. Excellent service for dinner (Shea was wonderful!) but breakfast was a little slower. To be fair, it was much busier in the morning. But both times our food came out very quickly. The owners clearly take pride in their space and their product, and we were happy to have a very positive experience with both. Wil definitely visit again!! Plenty of parking on the street and in the Lot out back.

    Maybe it was an omen that we had to ask the server to remove a dead fly from the window our table abutted. Next we had to wait an hour for our meals with the waitress coming by once to say dinner would be out shortly. Of the 4 meals none were acceptable. My steak came bloody rare when asked for medium rare. The paella was skimpy on the seafood. The lobster “roll” came open faced on toasted French bread The salmon came with a saffron rice that was over seasoned. The meal was an embarrassment for the guests we were entertaining.

    We had a wonderful and delicious dinner the other day at allies beach street café. Allie was our server and she was funny and gave great attention and service. The dinner was AMAZING! And we died over the peanut butter chocolate cake and fruit torte. A little tucked away gem in Manchester-by-the-Sea. It’s a must! We’ll be back again and again!

    Somehow we missed the change in ownership and expansion of hours to include dinners Wed-Sat. We very much enjoyed our dinner consisting of innovative seafood dishes. A very nice wine selection with many French selections. The old house provides an intimate environment that is close to the harbor and train. We will definitely go back
