Thanks was a beautiful evening, food was great, service was great!
Appetizers were really good. The mains were a bit disappointing. The lobster ravioli didn’t taste like lobster? It didn’t look like it either. Maybe we just picked the wrong mains. But the mussels were so amazing! And the beef carpaccio sooo yummy. Great service too.
Always excellent :)
Jordie was the best!!! When we go back, we will request him !!
Food was excellent !!!!!
Thank you Allora , very happy with it all
Most of the menu items I’ve had before at other Italian restaurants but the 4 things we tried all had a unique twist on the typical flavours we were expecting. We’d definitely go back and try other things. A taste adventure.
Lovely restaurant with great food. Staff were very nice. It was so pleasant to be in a restaurant where the noise level didn’t drown out the ability to carry on a conversation!
Our server told us it was half priced bottles (not glass pours). Shame on us for ordering an $88 bottle of wine for the table. She didn’t even seem apologetic. We had appies. From previous experience I would say their appies are not their strength. Go for the pasta dinner! We love the ambience of the place, especially the lounge :)
We came to celebrate our sons 7th birthday and had a great evening and meal!!! Our server was very aware of us having 4 kids and our food came out quickly (also helped that we were dining at 5:30). The braised beef gnocchi was soooo amazing but so rich! The kids devoured the gelato and sorbet. My only suggestion was to have a kids meal option with some meat instead of just carbs. We will certainly be back!
We enjoyed the atmosphere however weren’t overly happy with food or server. I did let him know that we would not be returning... I had been there before in the past and the food and service was great.. but one bad experience can really ruin it.
The food was pretty good, however the service was very poor. Our server was very arrogant and kept talking us out of everything we wanted to order, very heavily pushing his opinions on us to the point of making us uncomfortable. He forgot to ring in our appetizers, so we were brought our mains straightaway. They gave us complimentary desserts to make up for the mix up, but didn’t let us see a dessert menu and never offered us coffee or after dinner drinks, which we all were interested in ordering. Overall it was a very disappointing experience.
Service was Excellent.
Ricotta Gnochi also excellent (server recommended). My son had the kids cheese pizza which was quite large for him
and he ate a lot of it! For a kid that eats like a bird, very impressive.
My daughter loves salmon but the risotto it was served with tasted way too strongly of lemon. Also, my wife had the new feature, Squid Ink Pasta, but it was under sauced and also tasted too strongly of lemon.
Also, I would not recommend the house red wine.
Music was abstract and high in volume. Menus lacked daily special. Everything else was VG.
Conveniently located casual Italian dining. Great for a comfortable dinner with conversation over food and wine. Will go back again.
I ordered an 8 Oz glass of wine, my friend ordered a 5 Oz and size by side, they had Almost the same amount of wine In both glasses. Otherwise, everything was great.
It’s good. They have nice selection of items on the menu. The focaccia bread is delicious and served with oil and balsamic vinegar. Pizzas are yummy - i prefer the mushroom pizza and add arugula. Chicken parm is also very good and a large portion size so plan on sharing it taking some home. The restaurant has a Lovely atmosphere with all different clientele. I sat in the lounge where the music was a bit too loud so if you’re there for a meeting or just like to talk without raising your voice, sit in the dining area. Wine selection is good.
It was great! We stoped by for late meal and there were several things I truly appreciated. The Manger himself came and served us and advised about specials and wines. Plus we stayed chatting being almost last in the entire restaurant and he did not show a smallest sign of impatience or rush, quit opposite in fact. It is really great when a Manger creates such a lovely and welcoming atmosphere. I unfortunately do not recall his name - tall young man with tattoos. He is always there when we come for late bite (we live nearby) and he always makes us feel at home and welcome. We truly appreciate that as not all places nowadays keep this standard. Very professional. Thank you! Svetlana
Allora was amazing! It’s a stunning room that overlooks the water in Aspen. The food was absolutely delicious. We went with four other friends and all ordered a bunch of dishes to try and share. There was not one thing that we didn’t like. The service was quick and friendly, it was a great experience. We will definitely be back.
This is our second attempt at dining at Allora. Previously we enjoyed the ambiance the the food was good. The service was horrible.
This second visit saw more service issue. Our server appeared moments after our food arrived to check on everything and then we didn't see her again. I had to wave her down 3 times to remind her of the drink I ordered with the meal. Finally, with the meal almost over she appeared with the drink saying the bar lost the ticket and then had issues getting it done. Our water glasses were emptied and never refilled. We are searching for a regular restaurant to enjoy in our neighbourhood. Sadly, I don't think this is it. We gave it two tries. Terrible service.
First time at Alorra restaurant and it was great. I am celiac and when my pasta arrived it looked exactly like my husbands non gluten free version. I confirmed with the waiter that it was in fact GF. It was delicious. The best GF pasta I’ve had. I was also able to enjoy a Caesar salad including GF croutons which was also amazing. I’ll be back forsure.
Delish! Great food, great time..Can't wait to return!
My husband and I had a delicious meal and the service was just perfect. Our server was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. His recommendation for desert was honest and delicious. The restaurant decor is upscale enough to make the dinner feel special without being stuffy. It was relaxed and fun. I only have one suggestion. The playlist of music was rather odd and could be quite intrusive. It did not reflect the style or tempo required for this great neighborhood restaurant.
Unfortunately the food here is just not very good. Why would you put some sort of seasoning on the cheese in a caprese salad? Sauces are Smokey...lasagna doesn’t have any (all meat). The staff are excellent, drinks fun...food not so much :(
Food is very good the only thing was that nobody told us about the Sunday special which we would have ordered if we knew. 2pasta dishes and wine for $40
Super cute place in Aspen to enjoy a nice night out for a date. Great for families as I saw quite a few kids. The pasta was fresh and taste was amazing! The portion sizes were super great and had enough for leftovers. Would definitely be back to try other menu items!
Food could be better. The arancini balls were too small and did not appear to be fresh. The pasta with mussels and clams didn’t have a lot of flavour and was not all dente.
We liked everything but the service. Waitress was not friendly, seemed to be upset by our (very normal) requests and made her displeasure known. Service was in general very slow (but we were not in a hurry)
Six of us came on a cold Wednesday night for my son's birthday dinner. Our server was extremely friendly and very helpful without being overbearing. It was half price wine bottle night...a welcome surprise! The food was fantastic. We were comped a dessert by our server. We had a fun time! Loved the changes to the décor from the old Redwater Grille!
Great place with good service. Applies we're a bit pricey for the amount you get. Food was good, I would recommend the calamari and the lasagna. Very tasty. Service was good and friendly. They did not hover over you but were available when needed. Would recommend this place for a touch of Italian!
I booked a table for 2- off to the side- specifically in an area not in the open, where we could sit side by side and hear each other. The hostess brought us to a table for two- in a main traffic area, and would not allow us the table next to it where we could sit side by side, away from the main walk area. She was incredibly rude when I asked (it was for my birthday), she refused the table that was sitting there which we preferred. We ended up sitting across from each other in front of the window which was very cold.
The food was excellent- the sitting was not comfortable- it was reserved for a birthday dinner ahead of time. The attitude of the hostess was horrible, in spite of my very patient response (and even though I was very specific in my booking). Her smug look throughout the night and when we left- was the only thing that made me consider not returning.
Music was loud and more suited to children
Food flavor was average, prices above average
Service was very good.
Four of us went out to celebrate a friends birthday and had a great time. We requested a table in the lounge with the nice ambiance and comfortable chairs. We were seated in the main dining room however found the wooden chairs very uncomfortable to sit on. The staff accommodated is by giving us chairs that we more comfortable. A table
Opened up in the lounge and they gladly moved us in there. Food was great, service excellent, wine was appropriately priced and desert was delicious. Will be back again!!
Atmosphere and service were great. Food quality was good but “ok” in relation to cost per plate. Have had higher quality Italian food at other authentic places at similar or lower prices.
Maybe it is what we ordered, but the pasta with Clams and Mussels had no flavor and was just watery spaghetti with some clams and mussel thrown in. Other dishes were better so not a complete disaster.
Allora was a fantastic experience. One of our guests had many difficult allergies and our waiter and the chefs bent over backwards to ensure the meal was superb. And it was! Highly recommended!
I rate Allora as a 5 star restaurant in all categories.
The food is wonderful, the staff are very friendly and accommodating, the dining room is spotless with a wonderful view of the pond. It is very cozy and unpretentious.
This was our first visit to Allora since it changed over from Red Water Grill. We decided to try if for New Years Eve. They did a lovely job with the interior. The homemade focaccia is outstanding! We started with the olives and bruschetta. We then had the margherita pizza, caprese salad, chicken ravioli and the salmon. Everything was very tasty and the service was great! We will definitely be back
Great service, friendly staff, good food and good value.
I would have to say that the service from Cody is the best server experience i have ever received. He was on from the get go and made the dining experience very memorable.
Great experience. Would go again. Especially liked the Rosotto. Waiter was very friendly and efficient even though it was busy.
