Really enjoyed the pre-fix menu as it was the Calgary Food and Drink experience. The food choices were excellent on the pre-fix menu. It was also 1/2 price wine (Wednesday), which I didn't know. So, we had great value for our group of 3. Our waiter was great as well, providing covid updates (NBA suspended) as they progressed through the evening. We will be back!
We’ve been there twice (just to give it a chance as the first time wasn’t great) and were disappointed in the quality of food. Pizza was too much crust and not enough topping and lacked flavour, and pasta were also lacking flavour and qual
Service was quite slow, but it was a pretty restaurant! Food could have used a bit more flavour. Overall yummy, just won't rush back.
My 1st time visited. Very nice experience, food and service are super.
We will be back for sure and with my friends. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for the 5 stars Danny! Hope to see you soon!!
The service was great and the food was delicious. We did go at 5:30 to beat the dinner rush and it was worth it for the incredible service we had. Very knowledgeable and attentive waitress. The food came out quick and had amazing flavour. Would definitely go back.
Thanks for the kind comments! Hopefully, we can make this a 5 star experience on your next visit.
Thank you so much for this dining experience. It was my father-in-laws 65th birthday and we were seated at the chef table in the quiet little room. We liked it a lot. The food was great too and my kids (4 and 2) were very happy. My only "complaint" would be that they didn't offer my father-in-law a free dessert or cake slice for his birthday (knowing we were there for a birthday).
Great server and food
Thank you for the 5 star review!
Great dinner, best caesar salad and pizza and half price wine.
Service was very good,
Thanks for your 5 star review. We can't wait to serve you again soon!
Fantastic service. Had the YYC tasting menu for lunch an it was excellent and very tasty! Good value for money!
Thanks for your review. We agree...great value for lunch!
The three course prix fixe menu with wine pairings were outstanding. Wine was amazing. Definitely returning
Thank you for the 5 stars Harry! Looking forward to your next visit!
We have been here before a few time’s. Enjoy sitting in the lounge. It’s a nice place for dinner and conversation. The service has been slow before but not bad. Tonight was very slow. Sat down at 7:15. We had a salad they came out quick but then was over and hour for a pasta and the salmon. My pasta was cold so I am sure it sat there for a while. I can understand when the staff are busy but tonight they were not. The waitress even made a comment about how slow it was and how she was trying to fill he time. Maybe she should have filled it but being more attentive to the table.
We loved the calamari, it was cooked perfectly, we then ordered the clam and mussels pasta dish, we were disappointed with the dish, it lacked spice and was very bland and scarce in clams and mussels.
Great selection of dishes, love the salami section.
Our server Cody was fabulous! Funny, knowledgeable and a great time! We will be back!!
Food and service was excellent. Would definitely go again.
Loved the restaurant/lounge space. Pizza was very good. Service was excellent. We will return again and try the dining room. I look forward to trying the west facing patio in the summer.
Everything was awesome our waiter and waitress were the best!!
Good service and nice environment. Arancini lacked taste but pear gargonzola pizza was great.
Noisy and very family oriented. Difficulty for 2 people to chat
We really appreciate your gluten free menu! Don’t be afraid to keep adding to it! We would also love to see more gluten free beers, beverages and desserts as well.
Tables for two are very small and we felt cramped. Not enough room for our shared appys and drinks. No place to hang jackets and they just fell off the club style chairs at our small table. Our server was excellent and make some very good suggestions.
This was our third visit, and the service seems to get a little slower each time. While the servers are very cheerful and polite, they seem overworked. The bartender in the lounge should not be asked to serve tables as well. One thing which I find very tacky and well below what I expect from a restaurant of this calbre is the practice (it has been done twice) of removing the dirty cutlery from the appetizer plate, putting it on the table, and then expecting us to use it for the main course. This borders on disgusting. Clean cutlery should be provided. That aside the food has always bee very good.
Thanks was a beautiful evening, food was great, service was great!
Appetizers were really good. The mains were a bit disappointing. The lobster ravioli didn’t taste like lobster? It didn’t look like it either. Maybe we just picked the wrong mains. But the mussels were so amazing! And the beef carpaccio sooo yummy. Great service too.
Always excellent :)
Jordie was the best!!! When we go back, we will request him !!
Food was excellent !!!!!
Thank you Allora , very happy with it all
The food was delicious, just a little bit pricey. Would recommend going there!
Most of the menu items I’ve had before at other Italian restaurants but the 4 things we tried all had a unique twist on the typical flavours we were expecting. We’d definitely go back and try other things. A taste adventure.
Lovely restaurant with great food. Staff were very nice. It was so pleasant to be in a restaurant where the noise level didn’t drown out the ability to carry on a conversation!
Our server told us it was half priced bottles (not glass pours). Shame on us for ordering an $88 bottle of wine for the table. She didn’t even seem apologetic. We had appies. From previous experience I would say their appies are not their strength. Go for the pasta dinner! We love the ambience of the place, especially the lounge :)
We came to celebrate our sons 7th birthday and had a great evening and meal!!! Our server was very aware of us having 4 kids and our food came out quickly (also helped that we were dining at 5:30). The braised beef gnocchi was soooo amazing but so rich! The kids devoured the gelato and sorbet. My only suggestion was to have a kids meal option with some meat instead of just carbs. We will certainly be back!
We enjoyed the atmosphere however weren’t overly happy with food or server. I did let him know that we would not be returning... I had been there before in the past and the food and service was great.. but one bad experience can really ruin it.
The food was pretty good, however the service was very poor. Our server was very arrogant and kept talking us out of everything we wanted to order, very heavily pushing his opinions on us to the point of making us uncomfortable. He forgot to ring in our appetizers, so we were brought our mains straightaway. They gave us complimentary desserts to make up for the mix up, but didn’t let us see a dessert menu and never offered us coffee or after dinner drinks, which we all were interested in ordering. Overall it was a very disappointing experience.
Service was Excellent.
Ricotta Gnochi also excellent (server recommended). My son had the kids cheese pizza which was quite large for him
and he ate a lot of it! For a kid that eats like a bird, very impressive.
My daughter loves salmon but the risotto it was served with tasted way too strongly of lemon. Also, my wife had the new feature, Squid Ink Pasta, but it was under sauced and also tasted too strongly of lemon.
Also, I would not recommend the house red wine.
Music was abstract and high in volume. Menus lacked daily special. Everything else was VG.
Conveniently located casual Italian dining. Great for a comfortable dinner with conversation over food and wine. Will go back again.
I ordered an 8 Oz glass of wine, my friend ordered a 5 Oz and size by side, they had Almost the same amount of wine In both glasses. Otherwise, everything was great.
It’s good. They have nice selection of items on the menu. The focaccia bread is delicious and served with oil and balsamic vinegar. Pizzas are yummy - i prefer the mushroom pizza and add arugula. Chicken parm is also very good and a large portion size so plan on sharing it taking some home. The restaurant has a Lovely atmosphere with all different clientele. I sat in the lounge where the music was a bit too loud so if you’re there for a meeting or just like to talk without raising your voice, sit in the dining area. Wine selection is good.
It was great! We stoped by for late meal and there were several things I truly appreciated. The Manger himself came and served us and advised about specials and wines. Plus we stayed chatting being almost last in the entire restaurant and he did not show a smallest sign of impatience or rush, quit opposite in fact. It is really great when a Manger creates such a lovely and welcoming atmosphere. I unfortunately do not recall his name - tall young man with tattoos. He is always there when we come for late bite (we live nearby) and he always makes us feel at home and welcome. We truly appreciate that as not all places nowadays keep this standard. Very professional. Thank you! Svetlana
