Food is very good the only thing was that nobody told us about the Sunday special which we would have ordered if we knew. 2pasta dishes and wine for $40
Super cute place in Aspen to enjoy a nice night out for a date. Great for families as I saw quite a few kids. The pasta was fresh and taste was amazing! The portion sizes were super great and had enough for leftovers. Would definitely be back to try other menu items!
Food could be better. The arancini balls were too small and did not appear to be fresh. The pasta with mussels and clams didn’t have a lot of flavour and was not all dente.
We liked everything but the service. Waitress was not friendly, seemed to be upset by our (very normal) requests and made her displeasure known. Service was in general very slow (but we were not in a hurry)
Six of us came on a cold Wednesday night for my son's birthday dinner. Our server was extremely friendly and very helpful without being overbearing. It was half price wine bottle night...a welcome surprise! The food was fantastic. We were comped a dessert by our server. We had a fun time! Loved the changes to the décor from the old Redwater Grille!
Great place with good service. Applies we're a bit pricey for the amount you get. Food was good, I would recommend the calamari and the lasagna. Very tasty. Service was good and friendly. They did not hover over you but were available when needed. Would recommend this place for a touch of Italian!
I booked a table for 2- off to the side- specifically in an area not in the open, where we could sit side by side and hear each other. The hostess brought us to a table for two- in a main traffic area, and would not allow us the table next to it where we could sit side by side, away from the main walk area. She was incredibly rude when I asked (it was for my birthday), she refused the table that was sitting there which we preferred. We ended up sitting across from each other in front of the window which was very cold.
The food was excellent- the sitting was not comfortable- it was reserved for a birthday dinner ahead of time. The attitude of the hostess was horrible, in spite of my very patient response (and even though I was very specific in my booking). Her smug look throughout the night and when we left- was the only thing that made me consider not returning.
Music was loud and more suited to children
Food flavor was average, prices above average
Service was very good.
Four of us went out to celebrate a friends birthday and had a great time. We requested a table in the lounge with the nice ambiance and comfortable chairs. We were seated in the main dining room however found the wooden chairs very uncomfortable to sit on. The staff accommodated is by giving us chairs that we more comfortable. A table
Opened up in the lounge and they gladly moved us in there. Food was great, service excellent, wine was appropriately priced and desert was delicious. Will be back again!!
Atmosphere and service were great. Food quality was good but “ok” in relation to cost per plate. Have had higher quality Italian food at other authentic places at similar or lower prices.
Maybe it is what we ordered, but the pasta with Clams and Mussels had no flavor and was just watery spaghetti with some clams and mussel thrown in. Other dishes were better so not a complete disaster.
Allora was a fantastic experience. One of our guests had many difficult allergies and our waiter and the chefs bent over backwards to ensure the meal was superb. And it was! Highly recommended!
I rate Allora as a 5 star restaurant in all categories.
The food is wonderful, the staff are very friendly and accommodating, the dining room is spotless with a wonderful view of the pond. It is very cozy and unpretentious.
This was our first visit to Allora since it changed over from Red Water Grill. We decided to try if for New Years Eve. They did a lovely job with the interior. The homemade focaccia is outstanding! We started with the olives and bruschetta. We then had the margherita pizza, caprese salad, chicken ravioli and the salmon. Everything was very tasty and the service was great! We will definitely be back
Great service, friendly staff, good food and good value.
I would have to say that the service from Cody is the best server experience i have ever received. He was on from the get go and made the dining experience very memorable.
Great experience. Would go again. Especially liked the Rosotto. Waiter was very friendly and efficient even though it was busy.
This dinner was a birthday celebration for my daughter-in-law who is gluten sensitive. She had heard Allora has several options for those who are gluten sensitive but was even more excited when she was handed a separate menu. Nice touch! We all (4 of us) enjoyed our meals and would go again.
This is my second time visiting Allora, and both times each person at the table felt the food was not good and that they would not be interested in returning...
Food is delicious and overall it was a great experience but the server was very inattentive
The pizza is excellent! I had the basic Margherita and looks like they puree the basil which tastes even better.
The Arancini balls tasted as if they had been microwaved.
Loved the half size pasta option. The two pasta dishes my husband I chose were outstanding - and I am very picky! We had a reservation in the dining room but decided the lounge was appealing. Live music was very nice. It will be a regular for us now.
Our family loves Allora! Consistently great food and service, careful attention to our son’s allergy, fun setting, great drinks! Their homemade pasta is fabulous! What more can you ask for?
It was fine. Simply menu with just ok food.
Service was very pleasant and efficient.
The food was delicious and fresh. The service was just ok, but this was not our server's fault. She was the only server and had to manage the entire dining room alone. 6pm on a Sunday night when they have a special pasta promotion, so the place was busy. She was doing the best she could. Our mains came out before the appetizers which was strange so we ended up cancelling one of the appetizers. Their loss I guess!
Great service from Liz our server. The food was good, not spectacular but good. The appies were my favourite, prosciutto and figs as well as beef carpaccio! If we lived closer I’d go back but it was worth checking out. I enjoyed their lounge section as well.
Food was really not good. Tastes like Boston Pizza pasta. The lobster ravioli I had was separate and lumpy. The tomato sauce for the lasagna tasted like it was out of a can. Mussels were cold and the sauce was tomato, same as the pasta. The atmosphere is very pizza/pasta and lots of kids. Wouldn’t recommend for a nice night out or occasion.
This was the first time in this restaurant and after a very busy week it was a wonderful dinner indeed.
Thanks for the stars! Glad we could make a great night for you.
Food was good especially the aranchino, the ricotta gnocchi and the semi freddo dessert.
I had requested a booth on my reservation as well called ahead to confirm a booth. But we were not given a booth. It was a Friday night so noisy.
The service and food was great.
Chef Thipp and crew have created a phenomenal menu. The ambiance and staff create a wonderful atmosphere conducive to enjoying an intimate evening. 10/10 would recommend.
Wonderful food-delicious, fresh, interesting combinations thoughtfully prepared. Very attentive but discreet service, server made excellent recommendations. And they were so careful with an allergy which was truly appreciated.
Good food - limited menu. Would be nice to see them add some more traditional italian items to the menu....I call it nouveau Italian cuisine.
Great place for a good gathering. I like your lunch time as it's not too busy! We have a good experience.
This restaurant seems to be getting better and better. We all enjoyed the food and ambiance. The service could be a bit warmer, but good overall. I hope it continues to improve. Nice neighbourhood addition.
The service was really excellent. Great family place. The food was generally very good. Except the Cacio e Pepe was pretty mediocre.
Outstanding service, exceptional food, great value!
Great food. Greet location. Will be back!!
Had a business lunch and servers had a great sense of when to approach and when to stY back. Great food. Great service. Parking not so good
The food was a little hit and miss. A Caesar salad that was a head of romaine cut in half drizzled with not enough dressing and an unappealing presentation. A limoncello salad with very faint lemon flavour. The expensive lobster ravioli had no lobster flavour - could have been easily convinced there was no lobster. The bruschetta was really delicious and the porchetta pizza flavourful. The soup was good and the lasagne was tasty. But the food was not consistent enough to make us want to return nor recommend.
