we just walked through the restaurant and sat in the back open area. It wasn’t completed and needed plants& the ceiling above were glass panels and looked dirty. Because There were no plantings it looked bleak. The food was good, but the service was bad!! the maître d’, and waiter were rude and mumbled. I would never go back there. Christine Yadgaroff

Server was extremely off putting and was clearly just trying to make our check as high as possible to get a higher tip. Had no care about what we wanted and was extremely pushy. Then once we ordered food took over an hour and we never saw him again

This is a neighborhood gem. I went there for Winter Restaurant week. The staff is warm and welcoming. The specials for the day all sounded delicious. My beef carpaccio was excellent. I decided on the red snapper for main course and it was cooked to perfection. I tried my friend's pasta and that was good as well. I will definitely be going back there. The service is impeccable. It appears that a few of the tables had regular customers, which is a great sign.

Great lobster bisque! Table side prepped Caesar Salad was a nice touch and delicious. One of the specials was crab ravioli which was as good as it sounds. A wonderful dinner!

Some of the most flavorful Italian entrees we've ever had! Excellent black coat - white coat service and notable wine list. On this evening, they had a private party in the back and the dining room was in chaos with black coat waiters screaming at white coat staff. It was hard to have a conversation and the constant yelling took away from what would have been, our best meal experience this weekend.

Worse experience in New York in the last 20 years. Had a reservation for 4 at 7.30. At 8.15 still standing with my 2 young kids. They had accommodated 2 large parties that came after us before us. They were barely apologetic and rude. We ended up walking away. I hope they close soon. I think they will, the host was avoiding everyone. Probably the most pathetic restaurant I've seen in my life.

Went here for brunch with a group of 7. Ordered a seafood appetizer dish to share with the table and the waiter brought 7 individual plates for each of us and charged us $30 for each plate. The drinks were completely overpriced and some of the food was nearly inedible. I don’t like to leave bad reviews but I really was not happy with this experience.

I’ve never been so such a chaotic restaurant in my life. The line was 20 people deep when we arrived even though we had a reservation. Super crowded. The waiters were so stressed out we saw two of them almost get in a fist fight. So much yelling amongst the staff you would have thought it was a diner. Not with the high price for such a crazy environment $400 tab for two adults and a child and our server basically forgot about us the last hour we were there.

We had hoped for a great meal unfortunately they missed the mark. We were a party of 7. We (6 out of 7) arrived 10 minutes early. We went to order a drink at the bar & the bartender told us that we can’t order a drink because 20 people had reserved the bar area (which is a tight space to begin with) & it would be too crowed. We had to immediately sit down although everyone was not there yet. The dining area is small & “cozy” … cozy to the point where my colleagues chair was continually hit by another patron at a different table. We had to move the table back by a few feet as the waiter could barely walk by without bumping into someone. From the minute we sat down we were rushed. The waiter was nice however it was clear that they wanted to turn the table over soon. He questioned 3 of us - When a few people ordered pasta for dinner. (We had ordered a pasta dish to share as an appetizer). - When she asked for shaved Parmesan to go on her meal. After we finished our dinner we were getting ready to order dessert (it was also someone’s bday we were hoping to have a candle in his dessert) when the maître d’ came over and asked us to move to the bar because he needed the table. We were surprised by the but gladly moved to the bar area (which was not crowded as the table of 20 had sat down). They ended up buying us a drink for the inconvenience. One thing to note is that the bathroom situation is not ideal. It’s downs a steep staircase. There were boxes of produce that you had to maneuver around to get to the bathrooms. You also had to make sure that a waiter or staff member wasn’t running up/down the stair with food etc. The noise level was loud but we chalked it up to the holidays season and everyone was in a jovial good mood. All of ended up having a nice time because of the company. We agreed that if any of us were to go back it we’d go with 1 other person early in the week during a “quieter month”

Food portion for my chicken was fine, my friends however ordered the pasta and were dissatisfied with the portion:price ratio. I enjoyed my food, very nice ambiance, service was top tier, very fancy. A guy comes around with a basket of bread in the beginning, it wasn’t warm though. There were two complementary appetizers which were salami and cheese, and jalapeños. They asked my friend if she wanted chicken in her salad, she said yes, but they ended up charging 16 extra dollars for it, without telling us

We ate here twice because the pasta is some of the best we have ever had...steak was phenomenal...cocktails and wine are good also...creamed spinach was incredible...service is very attentive...however, it like going to your grandma's house and they are going to keep the food coming (and upselling you)...definitely will be on our list to return but probably with a more concise selection

As in the past it was a very nice dinner with varied specials. Even though we received and was charged the wrong bill the service was outstanding. Server and support personnel we're always aware of what needed to be done at our table.

Amazing find! Food selection, presentation and taste were all fabulous. Wait staff is attentive, knowledgable and efficient. They went above and beyond! Starting with mini appetizers (at no charge) and ending with lemonchello dessert shots. AND they overheard my son say it was his birthday and surprised as all with a cake and signing of Happy Birthday (without any of us asking). LOVELY and will definitely go back!
