We are built around food that uses fresh, simple, quality ingredients and our focus is to create a unique dining experience.
We hope to see you soon!
Food was underwhelming for me. Best dishes were the flat bread and sesame ice cream. Everything else was okay for me - ordered the mustard & pickles (good snack), mackerel fish (cabbage addition was good and tasty, but fish wasn’t anything special), and bean sprout salad (too sour and too much dressing). My boyfriend ordered the pork dumplings, which he thought was nice.
Overall atmosphere was really nice and cosy. Limited wine selection, but good options available to try (beer also worth trying). Great staff too, just wish food was as great.
Delicious, larger than expected portions, and really nice ambiance. Great date spot.
Great selection & excellent service!
Love this place! The food is delicious, and the staff is excellent!
Handsome place with a very small menu. Lovely hot flatbreads and stracciatella and very good wonton with noodles. Fried chicken also very tasty. Worth a visit.
Fantastic meal, service and ambiance! Was looking forward to trying this spot for a while and it blew away my expectations.
It’s rare for a restaurant to be this reliable
The food is consistently prepared with top notch ingredients and with the upmost care
What can I say, it’s become my go to place
Very delicious and interesting food. Presentation was thoughtful and the chef came and made an appearance which was nice.
Delicious food. Attentive and friendly service. I look forward to my next visit.
It is one of the few restaurants that I have gone to several times. The food is consistently reliable, tasty, well-prepared and well presented. It’s a nice casual place with refined well prepared food.
Such a amazing place to have in my neighborhood. Loved the kitchen bringing out the plates,
Could never say enough about the food and service.
Will definitely be back.
Service was very friendly. Food was delicious. No complaints. Would go back.
Been 3 times. Never disappoints. Truly delectable.
Phenomenal. One of those meals where, with each bite, you feel more melancholy over the fact that it's all going to be over soon. Everything was great and very reasonably priced. One of the best meals I've had in Toronto.
I have now been to this restaurant three times
It’s hard to find a reliable place that offers innovative and tasty food. This place is better than all the places that I’ve tried on king street—cause everyone raves about them
great place for special occasion or if you're just looking for a new favorite spot.
Awesome in every way
Alma has definitely become one of my favourite restaurants. Lots of dishes remind of my grandma food - home. Staff are always friendly and making sure we are having a good time. Look forward to coming back again soon.
Fantastic all around. Every dish was excellent.
Really great dining experience. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Quiet, cozy retaurant, great for a date or special occasion. Start with the homemade bread, the eggplant spread and a pork plate, cured in house. Perfect. Highly recommend
This is my second time at this restaurant. And, unlike many restaurants in Toronto there was consistency across the board. The food was carefully and tastefully prepared. It wasn’t overworked, And the staff were pleasant and helpful. A real nice change from all the chains in Toronto.
The chef is amazing and very friendly. Great experience
Been twice and the food and service is amazing. Cocktails are great too!
A Sunday afternoon well spent enhoting good food and excellent service
The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was impeccable. A complete delight. Go.
Great food and service. Smart, out of the ordinary new restaurant.
Very enjoyable night out. Imaginative dishes and competent (not too fussy) service. We will return to try the dishes we missed.
Server was fantastic, and flatbread delicious but took at least half hour or more to come out...(7 other people in resto)
Wine pour was small for the price.
And other dishes were tasty enough but just not very interesting...certainly not compared to all the glowing reviews I read.
Loved the restaurant and the staff and service.
Thought the food was unremarkable. Fish was very salty due to soya sauce and bavette had little flavour. Cabbage accompaniment was delicious.
So sorry wanted to love it.
Had some good wine. And a lovely cocktail made by the server.
The food and service was amazing. I will be back again! Thank you.
This understated Bloorcourt restaurant serves delicious food which can be shared. Our group of 3 shared all the appetizers and 2 mains. There was plenty of food.
The flavors were light and savory.
Beautifully prepared steamed sea bass was the highlight as well as the scallion pancake appetizer.
Absolutely delicious dinner. We tried everything on the menu except for two items and it was all superb. Had an awesome biologic wine. Service fantastic. Under the radar and fabulous place
Outstanding food and great place to talk over dinner.
Delicious food, clean atmosphere, personal staff. Worth recommending.
Everything was great! Service was friendly and professional, a clean casual environment with great/interesting food. The portions were small but reasonable for the quality and price.
The food was unique and delicious, and the chef was so friendly. She came out at the end to ask us if we had liked the meal. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes unusual and delicious food.
We ate at Alma on a Friday evening after a very busy week. It was the perfect place to relax, have great food and excellent service. The menu of small and large plates is well thought out with enough choices to mix and max well. The pomello salad was a great shared starter with the citrus taste enhanced by chiles and salt. The lobster spaghettini was equally good. The wine list is small but again well selected - we enjoyed a refreshing Spanish white which went well with everything. We hope to be back soon.
The food was very good! Flatbread and maitake mushroom were the highlights. Service was excellent, very friendly, fun, and attentive.
Fabulous waitress, but the food didn’t blow me away. The entrees were on the pricey side of Toronto hipster spots and were quite low on substance. Flavours were reasonably good. Highlights were the pomelo salad and pork dumplings. Don’t bother with flatbread. It’s literally just hot flat bread. A little literal.
Our waitress was fantastic and handled the delay in our order brilliantly.
