   Impeccable services, very professional staff who managed to make you very welcome, as if you are the guests of a house party. The foods, come and experience yourself, get a bank loan if you must, its worth it.

   Excellent meal, unlike any others I've had. Loved sitting at the bar and watching the chefs work away. The service was impeccable - kind, authentic and attentive.

   In Toronto, I think this is as close to fine dining as you can get in downtown. The service is on point - everyone seemed to be passionate about the work. Shawn (apologies for the spelling), the sommelier, was particularly amazing as he was really very good at telling stories behind the wines in the pairing. The food is very well-presented; however, I must say there were a couple that would benefit from a bit more seasoning. There's a lot of inspiration from different cuisines, which I did appreciate, especially in a city as diverse as Toronto. Very minor - but the temperature of the room was weird - it got quite cold then it got a bit too warm at some point, then cold again. This is my first time in the dining room, but I did visit the bar previously. I would highly recommend Alo to everyone.

   Always a delightful experience with superior service, amazing food and wine. It is our go to place for a total food and wine experience. All of the servers are very knowledgeable about the food that they are servicing. The martinis were as good as ever. Chef Patrick and the team do an amazing job from start to finish. The bread course is to die for.

   We had a delightful evening at Alo - certainly overdue for us to try. The food was inventive and surprising (in a good way!) to us. We loved every course and continue to discuss them today. The room is beautiful. But the star is the welcome and service. To a person, everyone was lovely and genuine and it was a truly special evening. Thanks to Monica, Cheyenne and Jonas (sorry about spelling/sorry for missing the names of so many others). See you soon!

   Had the best service my boyfriend and I have ever experienced. Marcus and Jonah deserve all their flowers they were impeccable. Would love to come back in the future. Simply outstanding from start to finish!

   Quite simply the most captivating dining experience ever. This was a birthday dinner for my twin sister and I and we won't forget the attentive house and wait staff, the excellent wine chosen for us, and the unbelievable, fresh and confident tasting menu. The dining room atmosphere is exquisite. Absolutely sublime evening.

   The chefs and staff at Alo did not miss one beat! All were in concert with one another taking care of us as if we were the only patrons they had! The food -spectacular! And the Chef did an amazing job managing a my food allergy! It was a perfect dining experience to celebrate our 30th. Thank you Chef!!

    We had the chef’s table which gave a nice view into the kitchen area. It was quite warm so if you do feel the heat it may not be the best place for you. Great service, shout out to Michael who was our main server, lovely guy. Good fusion of French and Asian ingredients with an interesting menu. Very enjoyable. My only comment was the behaviour of the head chef on our visit, was a bit Gordon Ramsay from the 80s/90s in the way he spoke to the team. We are from the UK where this kind of communicating is pretty much all gone. If you’ve seen The Bear series then you may recall the chef Bear had that wasn’t very nice - was not as bad as this but sometimes we overheard and sorry for the chef being berated.
