We came here for a special occasion full course dinner with a bottle of champagne. Server was friendly and attentive, food (appetizers, steak and bouillabaisse) was delicious. Dessert (crepe with peach compote) was outstanding. Only blip of the evening was when the bill came, it caught us by surprised that bubbly water costed $10 (we didn’t get the whole bottle, was only poured whenever server came by), we were charged for bread we didn’t get, and $14 for truffle shaving that wasn’t informed. That part didn’t feel right.
From the moment we walked in, we were surrounded by gracious servers, memorable cocktails, wonderful music and glorious food.
Highly recommend. We will be back!
Came in for a date night with hubby on a Saturday night and were seated upstairs. Our server was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. We had the beef tartare, ribeye with foie gras and Coquille St Jacques. The beef tartare was prepared tableside and did not disappoint. It's a must try. Steak was perfectly cooked and the foie gras was a great addition. Great wine list too. Overall an enjoyable dining experience and would recommend checking this place out.
Loved the table side tartar. Good value for French cuisine.
Good wine selection
Wasn’t a great dining experience. The seating arrangement was poorly laid out. We were sat in the back of the restaurant, behind a large pillar and between two large parties who were very loud all night. It was almost impossible to talk amongst ourselves. We ordered a few drinks and appetizers before our entrees, and the only highlight of the night was the beef tartare. The oysters with the torched foie gras was such a disappointment. It first arrived without the foie gras and had to be brought back. Then when we finally ate them, almost all the oysters had broken pieces of shell in it. The wait for our entrees took about an hour to arrive due to the restaurant prioritizing a large group. The staff didn’t offer us anything in between the long wait and no compensation was given in the end either. They just kept coming back to our table saying the food will be here soon multiple times throughout. When the food finally arrived, it was just alright. The duck confit was overly salty and the filet steak was not medium rare. However, one member of our party did enjoy their scallops. Overall, the experience was mediocre and we would probably not visit again.
Stopped in for desert and a nightcap. Service was amazing and the food did not disappoint. Even the cheese plate was creative. Highly recommend checking out Alouette!
The food was excellent and the service was even better!
A beautiful place to wine and dine.
Super cute, great great service!
Southern French food, good service and beautiful decor all made for an excellent dining experience.
From having a cocktail at the bar before being seated, to dessert, our experience was 5-stars all around. My only recommendations would be to keep the music French (it veered quite a bit off course at times) and keep more bottles of wine in stock that are on the list. Of course, getting them might be related to the trouble everyone has keeping things in stock, but this was a great little gem of a restaurant.
Newly opened and room for improvement.
Excellent beef tartare and would return just for this. Overall not worth the price.
Took 2hrs+ before main entrees were served and one needed to be sent back as it was severely undercooked. Whole meal for two took 3.25hrs for 3 courses. Service was too green and restaurant was too packed for them to keep up. Would avoid for groups, business meals and special occasions given service issues.
Friendly greeting on arrival and a great staff member serving us. Ordered a large selection of the menu for our table. Everything was good with the exception of the steaks. They do not have a sear and came to the table slightly cold. About an hour into our dinning, the waitress stopped coming to the table, but they did become very busy in that time. Took awhile to get offered dessert or the check, but we where in no rush.
The picture of boulibasse looked better than the actual one
They never chatted the scallops etc it was just okay
First time dining here and it will not be our last. Great service and a wonderful ambiance. Food was delicious!
Very very noisy & crowded, so servers could not provide the best service.
We had a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back! The mussels were fantastic and the ambiance was beautiful.
Soft opening, needs a little polish to make the bar.
Lamb was fantastic, fillet was cooked perfectly blue as requested. Oysters were not good, but perfectly presented.
Give them a month and I'm sure will be 5 star.
