We were seated for 20 minutes without anyone coming to our table. We asked a bus boy to get someone for us. The waitress said she didn’t see us. She provided our carafe of wine at no cost to us. That was nice and she provided good service the rest of our meal.

We came to Al's to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. We received excellent service from Brandon, he was very attentive. The food was excellent as were the drinks. I would highly recommend Happy Hour, they have some great specials. This was my boyfriend's first time here and won't be his last!!! Thank You :)

I had a really great time at Al’s! The service was great and there were lots of options on the menu. My only suggestion would be to have a bigger assortment of side dishes to accompany the steaks. Everything was potato/fries/rice (kind of heavy) and the only vegetable option was deep fried Brussels sprouts. Otherwise - amazing!

Amazing evening at Al’s Steakhouse! A great restaurant for a special occasion with a very great atmosphere. We enjoyed some nice appetizers and the steak tartare was great! We also indulged in some steaks and the butter is an amazing add on. I also highly recommande the peppercorn sauce. Fantastic night!

I have been going to Al's for over 40 years. The steaks are usually outstanding. However, last night I ordered steak frites, and while the steak was cooked properly and flavourful, it was not as tender as I expected. The price has also gone up significantly, at $40. The Caesar salad, while tasty and an Al's staple, was a bit extravagant at $12.00. All in all I will think twice before I go back.

The atmosphere was amazing, slightly loud but it was Valentine's Day so it was very busy. Our steaks were very underdone (ordered medium rare, received literally blue rare) but the server noticed immediately and offered to fix it for us. The FoH manager also came to check on us and apologize and both of them made sure we were happy with our food once fixed. While it's slightly disappointing to receive underdone food, I appreciate the efforts they went to to make it right and the food was delicious in the end :)

2ieme visite a ce restaurant, première en 2021 , pour cette 2ieme visite (29 janvier 2023) = déception, mon premier steak mal cuit ( médium/bien cuit au lieu medium rare ) et 2ieme steak refait mais avec beaucoup de gras et de ''tirailles'', pour le prix exigé c'est innaceptable! De plus aucun êrsonnel ne parlait francais , dans une ville bilingue = innaceptable aussi!

This is our “go to” restaurant. My husband likes they continue to have no fuss appetizers eg French onion soup, escargots and the best zucchini sticks. Cocktails are a little on the pricey side but in-line with other restaurants

We were greeted and seated immediately. Host and Server tended to all our needs , ensured we had lots of food and drink throughout the night and checked us out quickly so we could catch the show at NAC. Food was excellent and the service was very attentive and fast! Will be heading back to Al’s again!

It was our first time there. We had no trouble parking. Note, they do have parking in the back although it isn't advertised too well. The ambience is very chic and nice inside but it is very dark. Your eyes may actually start hurting, as it did for 2 of our guests. The food was good - I enjoyed my lambchops. We did see a mouse in the restaurant scurrying at the table beside us and walking around - when we notified the staff about it, he seemingly didn't care. Not sure if they were used to it or not. The restaurant was going to close, so that was our cue to leave.
