We went in for two of my triplets 17th birthday the food (very good) and service (excellent). Furthermore they immediately recognized my kids birthday upon arrival and also wished them happy birthday.

From a Covid perspective they also had great table spacing and all staff wearing masks and gloves that I saw. I'd definitely go back!

The service was excellent and the staff was incredibly friendly. The food was to die for and the gelato was orgasmic. The baked ziti was Magnificent and so was the salmon. Spaghetti sauce was spectacular. Overall, my experience was remarkable and I would definitely return. I cannot wait for my next experience at Alta Strada. I could bathe daily in the gelato.

This used to be my favorite restaurant, but the menu has changed taking off two of my favorites, the tagliatelle pasta and the ricotta appetizer. We were told complimentary bread was no longer provide due to sanitary reasons but we could buy garlic bread if we wanted it. Service was the worst I’ve experienced in three years there. Had to ask for our water to be filled up and then the waiter forgot. Desserts were also substandard.

The food was great. Mushroom Pasta and the giant Chicken Parm (I ate off it for three meals!) . Under these surreal conditions, it was nice to get out and have a meal. The staff took all precautions and I felt safe dining there and felt I respected the server and staff's safety. The service was fantastic. Please safely support our local restaurants and the restaurant industry!

The service is very sub par. We used to come here all the time but since the pandemic it’s seriously gone down hill, like they just don’t care. They should work to improve this, especially now. Waited a while for the host to greet us and she seemed bothered and looked unprofessional. Server also had an attitude. Asked me if I wanted anything besides water three times. I had informed her the first time that I was sticking with water. Food was good, it used to be better. Did not see the tagliatelle on the menu either.

The food is very good here. Their cacio e pepe is awesome. Our waitress was super friendly and efficient. My only complaint is that we had to wait quite a while for someone to come to our table. It became obvious that our waitress was busy, but the hostess or one of the other staff (there were a couple of them milling about) could have come to our table earlier and given us water and taken our drink order.

The food was good, although the menu somewhat limited. We had to rush through our dinner because of an approaching thunderstorm, which obviously the restaurant had no control over. The general outdoor area was quite busy with passersby. Hope to try this restaurant again in the future.

We love Alta Strada, so we were very excited to visit once they re-opened their outdoor patio after previously being closed due to COVID. Not only was the food as delicious as we remembered, but we were incredibly impressed at how well they adhered to social distancing guidelines: tables 6ft apart, all employees wearing masks & gloves, plus they required sanitizing our hands and wiping down of our table prior to dining. Outstanding service, delicious food, and a care for their patrons - what isn't to like?

We sat outside and the manager was very gracious. There were no tables in the shade and he was kind enough to move us when a table became available even though our food had already come to the table.

He was very hospitable and had a good suggestion for wine. Food came out in a timely manner and was delicious very fresh. We will definitely be back for dinner.

Ate dinner here with a friend the other night. I had the Giant Chicken Parm which was perfectly cooked (chicken was juicy and not too much breading) and accompanied by spaghetti squash. I think if you wanted a very low carb option, you may be able to request it cooked without the breading.

I really appreciated the service - our server was very knowledgeable about the options and what was popular. He was very attentive and helpful in selecting both drink/cocktails and our entrees. Will definitely come back.

The food was good, the service quite good, but the noise level (from 6:00 - about 8:00 p.m. was too loud. We were in a booth, four of us, and could barely hear each other talk. Finally, the 3% add on to pay for health care was unexpected and not appreciated.

So disappointed tonight. We’ve been here so many times and it’s always been fabulous. Tonight we had a disengaged frustrating server. The food took a long tim to come out and my husband’s pizza was overpowered with chili flakes making it inedible and we sent it back. My steak was overpowered with pepper and I left more than 1/2 of it. The server was unfriendly and almost seemed to avoid us. Overall, really poor experience and very disappointed.

We ate lunch at 11:30 so there were only two tables occupied when we began and five when we left. We were celebrating my friend's birthday and she especially enjoyed the ahi tuna salad. I had the margareta pizza slices with a caesar salad. The salad was very tasty; the crust on the pizza was a bit tough. What I didn't like was the piece of 'waxed' (?) paper under both the pizza and the salad. Every time I tried to slice a bite of pizza, the paper got in the way and usually ended up sticking to the fork/pizza.
Observation: While it was quiet for us, I would imagine that when busy, the closeness of the tables might make conversations difficult. Also the size of the tables (small) for the size of the plates (large) made it feel crowded. Glad they did not seat others on either side of us. The waiter was most solicitous - pleasant change from a lot of restaurants.

Thank you for your kind and thoughtful review! After discussion with the management team we have decided to change the way we plate the Two-Slice lunch combo. No one has ever really brought it up before but we all agree the presentation and ease would be better without the deli paper. Thanks again for the suggestion, we hope to see you soon!

We chose Alta Strada based on its' reviews as a good Italian restaurant. The food was very good, especially the pasta dishes, but I found the menu to be a bit limited. Our waiter was very nice but a bit rushed. The plates did not come out all together and because someone different brought out the food, there was a mix up between the dishes but we sorted it out ourselves at the table. The waiter did a nice job explaining the different menu options and answering any questions that we had. Two of our parties members were celebrating birthdays that evening. I made note of it on the reservation and called ahead to see if the restaurant did anything special to celebrate. They told me they would bring out ice cream for the two guests, but nothing was offered or provided and I decided not to make an issue of it. I would not make a special trip to go back to Alta Strada, but if I were in the area I would probably go back again.

Our group of three shared a pizza which we all loved. I prefer a little more sauce and cheese but the crust tasted superb, although too thin to hold the weight of the toppings. It was flacid when picked up and the toppings fell off, but the big chunks of fennel sausage were so good it could have been an appetizer by itself. We had two meats on the pizza so can't say if lighter toppings would have stayed on better. My chicken parm was giant as described on the menu, easily enough for two. The chicken cutlet was an inch thick, but very moist and tender. I liked having the less fattening spaghetti squash with it instead of real spaghetti. Again I prefer more sauce, but what I had was very good. The chicken was wonderfully crisp and crunchy. One companion found her rack of lamb prepared just to her liking and her husband was very happy with his pasta and fennel sausage dish. I took a taste of it and would happily order it myself on another visit.

We sat near the window which was also near the door. Every time someone came into the restaurant we got a very cold burst of wind. This location could really stand to have an added on entry way with another set of doors into the restaurant to prevent this. Unfortunate because the food was tasty otherwise.
