Experience an enchanting New Year's Eve at Amal! Indulge in exquisite Lebanese cuisine, mesmerizing entertainment featuring belly dancers and a live DJ, and an unforgettable countdown to 2024. MENU: Enjoy our signature à la carte menu as well as special features for the night. LATE SEATING: All reservations starting from 8pm require a minimum spend of $125 per person, in addition to tax and 20% gratuity. All Late Seating guests are welcome ring in the New Year at Amal. ENTERTAINMENT: DJ begins at 8pm. Belly Dance performances take place at 9:30, 10:30 & 11:30pm. CANCELLATION POLICY: Amal requires 72hrs notice to cancel NYE reservations. All cancellations made with less than 72hrs notice will be subject to a $125 charge (per person).

Service was very slow. Drinks took over 30mins to arrive. Drinks, 1 appetizer and 3 meals took 2 1/2 hours in total.

We recently dined at Amal Yorkville and we ordered the dips sampler platter which was mediocre at best, the pita was cold and tasted like store bought pita - I mean for a Lebanese restaurant to serve pita like that, no words! The falafel was hard, the mocktails were decent, the crispy eggplant with the dip was good, the cauliflower was nothing to rave for, simply boiled cauliflower served with some yogurt based sauce on top, the Lebanese rice was fine nothing spectacular, plain boiled rice with vermicelli and nuts. I am a vegetarian and I have had way better Lebanese food in restaurants around the GTA. Service was fine and the best thing about this restaurant is the decor and ambiance! Portions are small and overpriced. So, if you’re looking for true Lebanese cuisine then this is definitely not the one! Definitely had higher expectations from Amal located in Yorkville, but it certainly did not impress.

Amal never disappoints. This is my go to whenever I have people visiting for out of town. Visited recently for a business dinner and it was a great experience. Food was amazing as always and the service was first class

I returned back to Amal for my birthday to be really disappointed with the service and standards. For a Michelin star restaurant the level of service was not good . I was left waiting for my water to be filled for ages trying to get someone's attention. The toilets were dusty and dirty . I had spoken so highly of the restaurant to my fiancé as this was his first time and he was amazed at how bad the service was . Dressing the waitresses too in skirts so short they are clearly uncomfortable in while it's snowing so badly out , i felt so sorry for them . I won't be returning .

The place seems to have very warm and upbeat vibes. However, the excitement just ends there as the food is unable to match it up. We ordered the Chicken Tawook and it was Plain Bland. I was told it wouldn’t be spicy but the chicken seemed to have nothing except some salt. The pita provided was tasteless again and didn’t seem fresh.

Excellent menu of Lebanese cuisine. Loved the menu options and overall taste of the food and ingredients. The only thing: would have loved if the food was served hot. Unfortunately, the pita bread, manouche bread and kebab were warm/cold when put on our tables. One more thing: the kebab is quite dry (pistachio lamb especially), and it's the second time it has happened. I would highly recommend the Chef to put some lamb fat and ground onions to juice it up. Our server was very friendly and attentive: keeping our water glasses full and serving our table on time. Thank you!

Food, cocktails and atmosphere are good. Not a fan of the sofa/bench style seating. I find I sit too low so switched with my husband and sat in a chair. We did mention it was my birthday but didn’t acknowledge it in any way. Most high end restaurants do and it’s always a nice touch. Food was good but nothing blew me away. The cauliflower had a very off putting taste to me. The feta dressing tasted moldy to me but it could just be the type they use. Tiny expensive falafels. We had a nice evening but considering the price and taste of food I don’t think I would rush back.

An excellent dining experience, delicious food, but this restaurant is excessively noisy. Most people dine out to commune with each other, and it's very difficult to do at Amal. Please turn down the thumping music, and offer us an environment that's conducive to conversation. I'm ticking off "Yes" as a place I'd recommend, but only for a daytime meal. The noise level at night is untenable.

The ambiance is great. My food was not what I expected. I had been before and the food was delicious. I ordered brunch and the side potatoes were dry and seemed old. Like they were reheated too many times. There was also no bread or pita with my omelette. I was still hungry. I was also taken aback with the $9 water. I had asked for the unlimited water which on the menu says $2.50. I don’t like to complain but I need to express this. I spent a lot of money yesterday as it was a friend’s birthday and I was still hungry when I left.

Food was great! The dancers lights were tacky and clashed with the pretty interiors. Our server was extremely average only checked in on us once and it was a struggle to get his attention.

The food at Amal is excellent. The night we were there they had a large party so the mains took some time to come, but after the delicious appetizers this was not a big problem. I found the music to be too loud. I walked around the restaurant to see if there was an area that wasn't quite so loud so I would know for the future. The sides of the restaurant seem to have speakers aimed at the tables, whereas in the middle most of the noise is from the conversation of the patrons. Next time I will ask for a table in the middle of the restaurant.
