   Would suggest that Lunch is a better option if you want to have a private conversation because it is too loud for conversation at dinner time.

   Wonderful ambience inspired by modern design yet still incredibly cozy. The food was absolutely delicious, arrived quickly, and was priced fairly. Fantastic service and we will absolutely return in the future.

   Second time eating here. The decor is beautiful, though somewhat noisy. Very good service. The food is delicious! Loved the fried eggplant - yum! Great attention to food allergies. I have already recommended it to several people.

   What a fantastic night! Took in Amal for the first time, we were a little early but they made us very comfortable at the bar. The place was busy and lively, yet was warm and cozy. One complaint is that drinks were on the pricy side and wine list for bottles started significantly high. As the night was extremely busy our waiter was a little late getting to us but after that he was tentative, knowledgeable, friendly and really made us feel looked after including bring a caramelized date cake with Carmel sauce for my wife's birthday which was delicious. Spectacular service, bravo! See more at bearandlulu.ca in the coming weeks.

    Had a great experience at Amal! The decor is beautiful and the ambiance is very relaxing and cozy with an upscale vibe. I went on a Tuesday after work, and thought it might be quiet, but it was really busy and lively, and became even more so during my time there. That said, the service never faltered! The manager was so friendly when I arrived, and offered to hold my purse and bag while I removed my jacket. A small gesture, but I thought it was very polite of him. Our waiter was very attentive to our needs. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and provided great recommendations. After each course, numerous people came by to clear our plates right away. The prices were quite reasonable and the food was absolutely outstanding!! Great value overall. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!

    Fantastic Experience! This place is a must for someone who wants a great night out. The service was superb! The menu has a great selection, and literally everything is well crafted. AAA+ Can’t wait to come back to Toronto and spend some more time at Amal 🚀

    I enjoyed with my daughter a lot, Nabeh our server very pleasant and attentive, provided amazing service with care and professionalism another gentleman blond hair was very polite too, food was top notch, Lebanese food 100 like lebanon style very proud!!! The only disappoint drunk woman in the lobby naked holding her underwear and a beer screaming and talking profanity, shocked my daughter and we start dining up the stairs to the restaurant, really was upset that my daughter had to witness that on her birthday!! Bad experience!!! But other that that 100 recommended

    Had a wonderful experience however will not go back as could not hear anyone sitting across from me talk. Way too noisy!! So lost the desire to return despite food and service being wonderful. What good is a dinner if you can’t converse with your friends.

    We went to Amal for our Anniversary dinner. Loved the decor and the service! The friendly staff made you feel really welcomed! Food was excellent especially the hummus options! Would highly recommend this restaurant!

    Food and service were amazing as always. Spencer, our server was always on point and really attentive. Music was a tad louder than we would have liked if you were looking for group conversation but a small price to pay in the greater scheme of things.

    We went on a Monday night and were surprised by how busy it was. Service was fabulous - the entire staff were attentive. Food was really amazing (meat falling off the bone, flavourful recipes) and well presented. We left with full bellies and contented smiles. We had a small table (2) which made it a bit challenging for sharing multiple dishes amongst the table light and our drink glasses. Of note it looked like there was a DJ booth so although the night of our visit the noise level was perfect for conversation that might not be the same experience on other nights. Would highly recommend and plan to return in the future.

    Ambiance was nice. Its a beautiful space. Service was good. Waited quite a while for our table with reservations. Food took a long time we had to cancel an order after waiting so long. The drinks took a while as well. The kofta kebab was dry and needed seasoning. Fries were stale and when we sent it back, the new one tasted old as well. Maybe it was a bad night.

    Great food & interior but it seemed as though the waitress was annoyed with my groups food restrictions as some people have allergies & intolerances so we had to swap some side dishes in our meals. Shawarma entree is actually a shawarma wrap but that isn’t specified on the menu - it should be for people with gluten allergies.

    Absolutely loved my experience at Amal. The ambiance is beautiful from the moment you walk in, the room is gorgeous and aesthetically pleasing. Food was presented beautifully on the plates and the taste matched. Had a few cocktails which were also delicious!
