San Marzano sauce, spicy sausage, peppadew peppers, caramelized onion, house made bacon jam, topped with fior di latte
No sauce, fior di latte, pecorino romano, fresh garlic, oregano, extra virgin olive oil
Stuffed with ricotta, fior di latte, brushed with San Marzano sauce, extra virgin olive oil
It was a pity we needed to wait some 20 extra minutes to be seated. Apart from that, all dishes were great. Risotto was very good and also the canolis were super fresh
Had business dinner. Restaurant was full and service was extremely slow. Might be related to shortage of supply. Several items were not available. We tried to order second bottle of wine that we took, but they were out of inventory. Very nice historical building. Prices were affordable.
Great food and great service
Beautiful atmosphere and the food was fantastic!
Restaurant was not open, even though we had a reservation. Should have contacted me that they would not be open.
Traveling out of town after a 3 day conference . Nice place
Had reservations for early dinner. Service was quick food was good and reasonably priced for the area. Ordered spaghetti and meat balls and mushroom risotto. Both were very good.
The restaurant was packed and the staff was very busy, but handled it well. Melita, our server, was very friendly and attentive. Our food was brought out quickly and was well prepared and high quality. Loved the Peppadew pepper appetizer. Simply delicious.
Great atmosphere, cool old building right downtown. The staff was very friendly and the food was great.
We always come to Amalfi when in town. Fantastic food great ambience easy to talk
Tiramisu is the best!
We loved Amalfi, highly recommend it and definitely plan to return.
Risotto arrived lukewarm
Food was great and reservations through Open Table made our experience complete. This is always a favorite when in Atlanta for business.
Service and food were outstanding
One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to in the South. If I lived in Atlanta, this would absolutely be my go-to restaurant! Whether you are visiting, or live nearby, Amalfi is a hidden treasure and you must go!! Incredible atmosphere and even better food. Service was awesome as well. 10000/10. Everyone RAVED about their meal afterward.
5/5 for food- we had the pepperoni pizza, Quattro formaggio and tiramisu.
2/5 for service. Our appetizer never came, server checked in maybe once, we had to ask for water refills. If you are in any sort of time crunch this isn’t the place to go.
We were in Atlanta for the Peach Bowl and walked to restaurant from our hotel—Hilton. 7 of us—great service, enthusiastic manager and variety of Italian food choices—NOT JUST PIZZA. Great industrial atmosphere.
The food was pretty good, but the service was very slow. They were definitely understaffed. The hostess was bussing tables, setting tables, and seating tables. It took us 30 minutes to be seated. Our server was going nonstop between their tables. It took us 30 minutes to order food. Hopefully they can hire some more people.
Good not great. Smelled like cigarettes and puke when I had to take the accessibility elevator - not a great preface to a meal. Food was fine.
No staff…did ok with those they had. Food suffered most likely from inexperience. Just avoid for awhile or if cannot at least call first to see if still open. Unfortunate situation for them…
We were SO disappointed. With the reviews, we thought we’d come across a gem. How disappointing. Even allowing for Covid related staffing issues, the service was deplorable. We had a reservation at 5:30 and were seated immediately (by our server.) Having already perused the menu, we were ready to order and we did so. Our server did not ask for our beverage order and we had to ask another server to send our server back. The pizza was cooked in a too-hot oven with the outside rim crust too black and the pizza crust too raw. The sauce was sweet - not good. We were never asked about our meal, refills on wine or beverages or how our food tasted. We never saw our server again. When we wanted our check, we had to get up and ask for it and then wait for quite a while before settling our bill. We will not be returning.
Great service and best pizzas WE ATE ON 2021!
I made a reservation 2 weeks earlier for a surprise dinner for my spouse. I called ahead, two days before, asking if our guests could be seated promptly at our reservation time, and we would arrive 5-10 min after, and he could be surprised when we arrived at the table. Well, everyone arrived as planned, except our guests we still standing in the lobby upon our arrival. It was not overly busy - many open tables, including the one that was ours. We waited another 20 min until our table was finally set. We were seated 30 min later than our reservation. We were then served wine menus only to be told they didn’t have most of what was on the menu. We learned that the lack of drink options also extended to their bar options and sparking water.
Thankfully the food was great, but I doubt any of our 9 patrons will be returning.
Food was very tasty and service was awesome.Isabel was SOOOOOO great!!!!
This place was very eh and the food was not great, especially for the price . The waitress was super nice and the glass of wine was generous, and that was about it. I won’t be going back.
Waitress was on point!
Food and service were great. Took the team there for a get together and everyone enjoyed everything.
Server was warm and friendly. She made us feel welcome and was engaging. Food was delicious.
Waited over 1 hour for table. Multiple times needed to remind staff that large party with reservation was waiting. After delay promised free appetizers which were not given. Then left waiting another 30 min after seated to get any server. Food was good. But service was overwhelmingly terrible. Unfortunate.
The waitress was inattentive and we get rushed. The papparedelle noodles were stuck together and didn’t taste fresh. Don’t get the bruschetta: the tomatoes did not taste fresh nor did the bread
We came after the SEC championship game and it was crowded everywhere. The staff at Amalfi did an amazing job accommodating the rush. The hostess was also Bussing and prepping the tables for the next guest along with managing the reservations and waitlist. Once we were seated our waitress (I can’t remember her name but she was from Michigan and was wearing an Atlanta all sports shirt) made sure we all had water right away. She was friendly and pleasant. Our food came our quickly and was delicious. I especially loved the white mushroom pizza! Great job to all the staff!!
Place was great. We were mad on Friday night as we found the place walking downtown and looking for somewhere to eat. They only take reservations. We were able to reserve a table on Saturday night after the game. Was very glad we did. We sampled a little bit of everything, great flavor , presentation and taste. Will defiantly go back next time we are in town. Glad we found this place.
Be sure to eat before you go. Food was tasty but walked away hungry.......come on, pasta is cheap. Service was great.
Amalfi is our yearly family Christmas dinner with my aunt and my son from South Carolina. We love every minute of our visit!! Thanks for another great dinner!!’ :-)
We had a wonderful meal!
The food was outstanding.
Definitely will go again.
The server started out a little quiet but once
we were nice to her she warmed up and was great.
I think she may have been nervous.
Make sure you make a reservation. Visiting Atlanta and we went to Amalfi for dinner. The bruschetta and meatball appetizers were delicious. We had the Margherita pizza and a Calzone each with spicy sausage and it was great too. Wine is a bit overpriced. Had the cannoli dessert and that was amazing. Our waitress was great. Happy we decided to go back since we weren’t able to have dinner on Sunday since we didn’t have reservation and we were told they were short staffed.
Good food. Tasted fresh and delicious. Going to go back on a day when the full menu is available.
This place was truly wonderful; the food and the service was excellent. We will be back!!
Really nice dinner out on a Saturday evening. Excellent food.
