Dover Sole was superb as was service and apps! We look forward to the next visit.
Food was amazing and the service was wonderful!
We just adore this little spot, outside of the foliage that gets in the way of the booths, this place is delightful with absolutely delicious food and wine
Good size of the portions and very good flavor.
The service was great!
I thoroughly enjoy dining at this restaurant, and I would definitely go back!
Went for Jazz Night, amazing food and amazing music! Beautiful interior!
amazing food and service, great live performance too!
Always great food and service. My go to place.
Amazing food. Great service. And the wait staff was so helpful with recommendations.
This is a gem of a neighborhood place. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable and light. The service was friendly and appropriate (not overbearing, but always responsive). The "medium" hamburger was really rare - only negative.
This was a great place for a nice dinner before a show. Staff was friendly and the food delicious.
Food was really exceptional but the service was poor. Not enough wait staff yet all tables were filled. Would be better to open tables as staff is available to ensure the experience is worthy of the reputation and quality of the food coming out of the kitchen.
Delicious entrees and the service was great. We had to wait about 20 min for our table and were given 2 complementary glasses
Sisters overnight in city
This restaurant is so delicious. The food is so light (hummus is a must have), and the decor is absolutely stunning. The wine selection is soooo good, perfectly rounds out everything. Would highly recommend!
A few highlights: autumn squash salad, halibut with fennel and dill, orange olive oil cake. All were very favorable and presented nicely. Staff was very attentive. Would definitely return.
Food was delicious but portions were enormous and we weren't warned of that so we were completely too full to finish our entrees which was disappointing.
We felt as though everyone was friendly and warm. The menu is very interesting
Superior cuisine beautiful surroundings excellent service.
My friends and I had a fabulous experience dining at Amali. We celebrated my birthday there in style and our server was very kind and personable. We sincerely appreciated the excellent service, and I cannot wait to come back again soon! Thank you for a truly memorable experience yet again!
You'll feel an immediate sense of warmth as you walk into Amali. If it's ambiance doesn't feel enough like an escape from your anxiety-filled life, wait until the appetizer hits your plate (my date and I highly recommend the cauliflower).
It's the small details that made the dining experience at Amali feel extra grand. Sesame bread was the perfect included starter and a nice compliment to the artisan cocktails; the mains didn't come until we finished the appetizer (none of this shuffling of plates on the table business); all members of the staff spoke with knowledge and passion about their favorite dish; the birthday gelato came on a plate with chocolate written in calligraphy (a sure way to get your date to smile).
The food is interesting and cooked excellently. The price is steep so best for special occasions.
hosted a ladies power lunch for 12 and we had a great experience! The food was great.
The food was delicious!
There were a lot of people there, and it was noisy
Expensive .. really doesn’t worth it at all. Meal for two people costed $145 without ordering any drinks. Very normal nothing special, just like if you are getting chicken or pasta from your regular cheap italian restaurant
Superb experience: the spanish octopus was delicious and the Branzino for two people was simply the best I ever had..period!
Will definitely go back
Food was quite good but very expensive for what it is.
The food, the service, all of it was fantastic! We had the whipped feta to start, I had the scallops, my friend the quinoa crusted duck. We finished off with the olive oil cake. Stunning food all round!
The staff were lovely. Unfortunately the overall experience was not as wonderful as we were expecting. I think we’ll need to go back and try again. We were not familiar with the menu and the night was a bit cold and dreary.
The food is amazing
The food is truly special. I never order pasta and
I had the seafood one. Homemade noodles and perfect amount of chopped up seafood. The dips with flatbread were tasty. Great place with live music. Loved every minute. And the olive oil cake! 😘
Good delicious ! Service great ! Great nyc ambiance
The good was excessively salty and very overpriced.
Excellent place! Great food and atmosphere - service is attentive.
Food was all on the saltier side..even w/ my request to have less salt. Scallops & Halibut has tasty sauce & accompaniments but were overdone.
Good excellent. Very well prepared. Menu interesting. Pretty loud in a small place.
Very very good food but ridiculously mis-priced. Will not be going back; there are too many better options.
I had a very disappointing evening at Amali. The waiters did not wear masks and stood very close to the table. They explained they are vaccinated but I would've felt more comfortable if they wore masks. The service was extremely slow and the entrees arrived an hour and a half after ordering. We sat for a 730pm reservation and didn't finish until almost 10pm. Given the high price point at Amali, I expected a better dining experience.
Excellent food and service. The halibut and the hummus were outstanding.
