I am a fan of this restaurant, but recently the service and food were down grading, the service so rough, even the food taste different than before. I think I may not going again.

Very mediocre food with almost no authenticity. I ordered Penne and meatballs. Having meatballs added is a menu suggested add-on for $5 for a dish that would otherwise be penne and red sauce....The worst part was when I asked for parmesan, and they brought me a small bowl of store bought grated parmesan. This is unacceptable for any italian restaurant. No bread basket provided, and the servers are really pushy.

This was our first visit to Amano. I'd seen it mentioned in a Facebook group so decided to give it a try. The food was fantastic and the value can't be beat. Prices are very reasonable for truly exceptional food. Give it a try.

We did the Sunday Gravy menu - soooo much food and dessert! But all obviously handcrafted. Nothing pre- cooked here. Wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

Service was amazing, food was even better. Highly recommend the pork belly. Waitress was attentive, cutlery and plates were switched out for every course, and table was cleaned. Everything tasted fresh, and delicious. Will definitely return.

Only slight negative was that on this occasion our server was quick to remove plates/glasses without asking if we were done; quick service is good but not when you wish you had eaten the last bite or taken that last sip. Also, we were asked about the bill as our dessert had just arrived. I would appreciate being able to enjoy the entire meal before being handed the bill. Gastronomically; outstanding. Location has a cool casual vibe. We will definitely be back.

Food was ok and completely overpriced for the quantity we got. We won’t be going back.

We unfortunately found the food way too salty and hope to try it again another time to see if this was an isolated occurrence. The mussels were in a water based sauce that didn’t have tomato or any flavour. We would suggest that if they serve olives to serve with some bread as these were extremely salty as well.
