Our hostess, Nadine, was charming and helpful throughout the dining experience. We came for a family birthday celebration and made arrangements for the Plated Experience. The aperitif and drinks were a great start. From our appetizer to dessert, every dish was delicious, and the presentation was exceptional. As returning patrons, we will make this our official go-to restaurant.

Very nice atmosphere and excellent service. Fairly limited menu in my opinion, but my wife and I shared a burrata salad and each had the bolognas pasta. Would recommend for any night out.

Great food, great service and great prices for a fairly upscale Italian restaurant. Spent my birthday there and everyone had a great time. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious Italian dinner in the city. The Roman Pizza (pinza) and Arancini balls were especially great!!

The restaurant looks fancy. Food is good, prices are good as well. We were little bit disappointed because one of the dishes we wanted to order was no longer an option in the restaurant, the other dish didn’t work as well as they didn’t have scallops anymore. The food that was available was good, but nothing special. In overall the atmosphere in the restaurant was pretty nice. Staff was nice.

I’m really picky when it comes to Italian restaurants outside of Italy, however Amanda blew me away ! The servings we ordered were elegant and delicious The space feels very romantic, cozy and sophisticated and staff was truly amazing The truffle salad is a must try !

We had an very fine dinner here, trying two appetizers, two of the pasta dishes (pappardelle and cavatelli) and coconut panna cotta for dessert. The service was excellent.

Was really excited to try this place and unfortunately it did not deliver. The server ignored us for the entire meal, never once asked us how the food was or offered to refill our drinks. We started with the bread and charred broccoli salad which were fine. Then had the bolognese and the Summer Funguy pizza. The pizza was okay nothing special and certainly not worth the $34 price, but the bolognese tasted rancid. We literally could not eat it. Very disappointed, all around terrible meal and service.

We had a lovely experience at Amano. Great wine selection and food tasted like we were in Italy - incredibly fresh and flavourful. I would highly recommend the Arancini as a starter - it was fantastic. For mains my husband and I enjoyed scallops and the Bucatini - both delicious. Our server Ryan was helpful, friendly and efficient. I could only give the ambience rating a 3 because we were expecting a nice, intimate quiet setting. Instead we found the restaurant to be very loud.

The service was terrible!! Not sure if it was because we came on a Saturday, but it was crazy how long we even waited for 5 slices of bread and oil I was finished my drink by then. Food portions weren’t that great either for the price and tables are ridiculously small and it seems as if they care more about squeezing in a bunch of tables so close together than actual ambiance.

We did the chef’s tasting menu and every dish was superbly prepared and presented. We had way more food than we could finish there, so excellent value. The ambience was romantic with a chill jazz feel. We highly recommend and will be returning as soon as we can.

We had the most lovely anniversary dinner celebration here last evening. We were visiting Toronto and absolutely lucked out at this gem of a restaurant. Our waiter, Liam, and the management staff were wonderful as the service was amazing, as was the food!! We enjoyed complimentary sparkling wine which was such a lovely touch and the somalier pointed us to the perfect wine choice. We selected the shrimp crostini to start, followed by the truffle salad and both were most delicious. My husband had the bolognase pasta and I had the fettuccine Nero for mains, and both dishes were absolutely scrumptious. And the special tiramisu dessert was the best ending to the whole experience. Thanks again, we'll be back!

The food was very good, though I would describe the menu as pretentious. It was all in Italian with no explanations so if you don’t speak Italian fluently (as we don’t), you have to ask about every item. It very expensive with no options for children.

This was a lovely surprise. We booked it rather last minute to coordinate with some post dinner plans. And in a group of 6 had an incredible meal. The portions were very appropriately sized, the timing of each course was thoughtful and the servers were all delightful.
