My husband and I enjoyed our time there. Victor took good care of us and was very accommodating. The food was good- we shared Amatriciana penso, bolognese and hanger steak. Make sure to get the steak medium rare outherwise it will be dry. The place is very cozy and it's not noisy. They dont rush you like sime other plsces so it was great. Last but not least, the wine was so good(Barolo, Fontanafredda), I will see where I can find a place to buy a bottle as it's my new favorite. I just wished there were more options on the menu but overall it was a good experience. We will go back there again for sure.

Excellent evening enjoying our dinner at Amano. Each dish was great, cooked to perfection, with an excellent presentation. The Burrata, carpaccio, and truffle salad were equally excellent! The Amatraciana roman style pizza was outstanding! Crispy, fluffy, and full of flavor! The hanger steak was also done perfectly, and the smashed fried potatoes were perfect. All in all, a fantastic evening with excellent food! The ambience in the resto is great! Great layout, great decor. Don't miss out, you will not be disappointed!

My partner and I spent our anniversary here and it was so beautiful and was the perfect vibe that we were going for (a nice dim lit, romantic setting and intimate dinner). Upon being seated we were congratulated on our anniversary and brought some champagne which was a nice treat. The waiter was so kind and very personable, as were all the people that we interacted with. The food was delicious - my partner ordered the bolognese and I ordered the funghi pasta. The bolognese wasn’t very sauce heavy but the meat was still very flavourful and clung to the pasta quite well. My funghi pasta was a little too al dente for my taste but otherwise still had a great flavourful and creamy sauce. Overall this restaurant met our expectations and was a great place to attend for a romantic dinner!

First time dining here and we really enjoyed our meals. The Truffle salad , Doppi all' Amatrciana (stuffed ravioli), Fettucini Nere allo Scoglio and Olive oil cake were superb. Everything had lots of flavour. Martini's and wine made for an expensive meal but it was worth it.

The pasta is overcooked, and everything was overpriced (certainly for what you're getting - this isn't real Italian food). Also, they both texted and called within the 15 minute grace period, when we were running a bit behind - bit obnoxious, as were the hostesses. Some good flavors and the server didn't heir best to be helpful - it just wasn't anything worthwhile.

Definitely one of the best restaurants in Toronto. Exceptional food, very nice place but my compliments go to the staff who took care of everything down to the smallest detail. I will definitely go back again!!

Tried the chefs choice tasting menu. Food quality was great and the quantity was excessive (in the good way) for the $99 price point. Well done. Good ambience in the place too. Fun vibe. Will go back.

A beautiful menu, expertly executed. Our server helped us put together an array of flavors and styles of dishes. The mushroom pizzette was a standout, as was olive oil cake. We ordered the number of dishes recommended by the server, portion wise, and probably could have done with one fewer.

BEST SERVICE in town!! I went to Amano twice in the same week! One was a business meal with clients, another was dinner with a friend! Both times - service is impeccable! We were served by Victor, he was absolutely phenomenal! I was SO impressed! Loved the food, just the noise level could be moderately lower, but overall it was amazing experience! Must Try!

My wife and I fell in love with this restaurant and it's amazing staff after going there for the first time on our 5 year wedding anniversary. The amazing in house burrata is a must starter, and the hand made pasta dishes are all amazing as well. The attentiveness and warm welcoming staff there are all amazing as well, our most recent waiter Marcus was delightful and I have to give a special shout-out to Luca who we met last year and gave us some ideas of what we should try and also the in-house pasta guy. If you are looking for great Italian cuisine and the freshest pasta dishes look no further and come here!

Pleasant attentive staff with great pacing of service. Bartender was spot on with delicious cocktails. There were 6 of us including my elderly mother to celebrate my birthday. It was loud for her to hear the conversation around the table. The food was amazing. Presentation, layering of flavour & textures was noted & appreciated by all. Portions were great as there was enough to share a taste & savour your own. Desserts were also on point with not being too sweet bringing the meal to a lovely close. Recommend the pork shoulder, papardelle bolognese and the orange cake and cannoli. Highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion. Thank you to the staff for a memorable meal & delightful evening. We had a family dinner including with my 87 year old parents. Food was absolutely superb. The wine list excellent and our service was impeccable (especially given we were a party of eight). Extremely conscientious, attentive and pleasant. Highly recommend for the delicious food and excellent service

A delightful experience! Waitstaff was attentive and thoughtful even on a very busy night. The beef carpaccio was a particularly delightful dish as was the Hot Stuff N’duja pizza. Pasta was also cooked perfectly and very flavourful. Both wines we tried were outstanding choices, very pleased with Amano and will be back!

We very much enjoyed our dinner. Good vibe good service and really good food. The bolognese, which is a traditional and simple dish (which does not mean easy) was done at a very high level. Fresh pasta and a great milk finished bolognese was done so well. The squash and pancetta pizza with fried sage was also top shelf. I would be hard pressed not to have the exact meal next time. A DOCG Barbera was the perfect accompaniment. Loved our dinner

Amano had a few of the best vegetarian pastas I have ever eaten in my life. I sent so many friends here after my visit. all my friends were super happy with the choice of venue. The food was fantastic from start to finish. I wish I could list the menu. I’ll probably add that another point but I’ll post some pictures. Everybody couldn’t stop raving about the food here . Environment was very elegant and wonderful too . The chocolate tart and the tiramisu were not to be missed.

Great food, however it was very loud. Made it impossible to have a conversation as you could not hear anyone unless they were screaming in your ear. We had a hard time hearing our servers recommendations. Other than that it was a fabulous dining experience.

Extremely loud making it very difficult to have a conversation & that was after we asked for a quiet table. Very expensive especially the wine. They made me a delicious NEGRONI Food was tasty with generous servings but quite salty. The pizza was so thick that they provided kitchen shears to cut it. Staff were friendly and helpful
