Our Menu features a vast variety of poultry, meats, fish and seafood, as well as an extensive offering of vegetarian and vegan options, which has made Ambiyan a go to establishment for fine Indian cuisine in Unionville since 2009, and now in Toronto since 2019. The restaurant had some good value meal options that gave us the opportunity to taste quite a few options at a reasonable price. The daal makhni and paneer tikka were amazing, paired with some crispy yet fluffy naans. Their butter chicken tasted nice and light on the palate but could have been a little less sweet.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the service. Each dish was prepared well and the menu offers a lot of choice. My grandson especially loved the butter chicken and wanted to take the leftovers to school for lunch.

My partner and I had a lovely meal at Ambiyan on Saturday evening. Harlene, our server, was very helpful and service throughout the evening was very good. The food was delicious...we began with a shared appetizer...shrmps which were delicious...we followed it with a lamb saag and the prawn and fish curry. Delicious and more than ample servings. This was our first time here but it won't be our last and replaces what had been a favourite Indian restaurant on St. Clair West.

Over the past few years, every time I've tried a new Indian restaurant, I've been disappointed, not so with Ambiyan. Behind a store and just off Yonge Street, I wasn't attracted to it enough to try it, after having lived in the area for four years. I'm so glad that a couple of friends and I decided to give it a try after an afternoon concert. Every dish was excellent, the server was so attentive and kind, the decor was inviting, and we enjoyed each of the three selections, along with some delicious shrimp pakoras, as an appetizer. I'd highly recommend it to others.

I had a great time with my friends. The place is great if you are looking for a nice family time. The food was also great. The service was little slow in though there were not a lot of people. But that not something you will have in your mind when the place is awesome.

This is one of our go-to restos when we think of Indian food. The menu has all the usual favourites, plus some unique to Ambien. There are lots of vegetarian and vegan options as well. We had the usual prompt friendly service.

This is the best Indian food in Toronto without exception. …. And if that’s not enough, the owners are wonderful and hospitable and their service is exceptional . The take out business thrived during covid which is when they opened at this location. I sure hope that everyone will come to experience the restaurant so that they can thrive !

We have been here a few times and always find the servers and staff friendly and helpful. Most dishes can be tweaked to be a bit more or less spicy. Reasonable pricing for well prepared dishes.
