I’ve been eating at Amedeo’s since the late 70’s and it’s still the best lasagna in town.

Very cute place, sports & Italian how fun. Amedeo's Italian is 60 years old which shows in their collection of sports. tiny booths with a family welcoming feel. Their BREAD is spectacular. We tried the bake ziti and spag & meatballs. It seems the meat balls were all veal.

Food took over 40 minutes to be prepared and served, and it was not busy! Plus it was mediocre food. The stromboli was small and had about 2 inches of solid dough at each end. But we did enjoy the NC State theme and memorabilia.

Went with a crowd on NCSU family/parent weekend. Very busy, but worth the wait. Delicious food and friendly staff. Our fave restaurant for dinner when we visit NC State!

Very disappointing. Our server was good, but we waited an hour and a half for our food. When it finally came out, some of it was cold from sitting for so long. The restaurant was not very crowded and there were no explanations or apologies for why the food took as long as it did.

My husband and I had a fabulous time at Amedeo‘s. The staff treated us like kings and queens, and the food was delightful. I would say my most favorite part was how the staff warmly welcomed us and we felt at home. My daughter and her boyfriend were there also at another table celebrating their third dating anniversary. They were also treated fabulously all in all, we had a wonderful evening, and I would definitely come back again when I need some good traditional Italian food.

Kendi was a great server! Very attentive and courteous. Food was delicious😋. $5.00 lasagna day. Will definitely be going back soon.

This place was recommended by a local “as the best Italian in Raleigh.” Wouldn’t have been difficult to find better. The service is terrible. The food mediocre, but the spots memorabilia is plentiful if you care about the local teams. Next time in Raleigh i will avoid this place.

Even though there was only one review we decided to try it. Being Italian we are in search for a decent Italian restaurant. The search will go on. Loved the mushrooms and the mozzarella. The sauce very generic to the point of taste like a canned pizza sauce- nothing to rave about. Chicken Cutlet dry. Meatballs generic no taste- lacking grated cheese, garlic, etc

This was our first visit here. It's located in a little strip mall and as soon as you walk in you notice the Italian/sports decor, checkered tablecloths, "romantic" music playing, as well as NC State/Hurricanes decor above the booths. An unusual combination, but it works. We were seated right away and drink orders taken. We were brought some bread which was very soft soft and not at all crusty. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer, and we were definitely not disappointed in our choice! My wife ordered Caesar salad which was large and good. Although there was a wide variety of Calzones, Stromboli, and pasta dishes, I ordered the meat lasagna, which I thoroughly enjoyed. My wife ordered the "Pack Pasta", which was basically a home recipe chicken Alfredo with broccoli, and topped with mozzarella and tomatoes. She really enjoyed her meal. They weren't skimpy on the servings, we had plenty to take home for left overs. Amedeo's comes in a high rating for Italian food for reasonable prices. Service was excellent and if you're a "neutral" sports fan who can get past the NC State decor , you should enjoy your meal here.
