The lady that served us was fantastic. The food was great and quick.
Food wasn’t to decent standards. We ordered an appetizer and that was served with the main meal. Food was cold and without any taste. Wife’s food wasn’t any better. Pan fried cod was way over cooked.
We wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone.
I love my hot turkey sandwich and when I saw it in Amelia’s I was excited and ordered it. Nah, there was more bread and crumbs and gravy than turkey. Wait, there was barely enough turkey meat to call it a turkey sandwich. You don’t call a tuna sandwich without tuna in the sandwich and that applies to a turkey sandwich as well.
Service was lacking as well. Waitress gave us a lunch menu and a dinner menu but never even bothered to explain if we can order from the dinner menu at 12noon. We ended up just choosing lunch menu just because it’s lunch time.
She also promised to bring in chipotle saucer and my partner finished her meal without even seeing a drop of chipotle sauce.
These could have been remedied if she was in reach but you couldn’t even find her.
I left a review on the restaurants website it won’t copy and past here it’s way to long to write again. Bottom line rude ignorant staff will never go back will never recommend especially to anyone with a child. And the management clearly don’t care because they didn’t even respond to an email I sent them.
We didn’t know who our waiter/waitress was as multiple people came to our table. One told us to take a seat she brought water salt pepper vinegar and then walked away. Other couples came say got their drinks finally after about 15 mins someone came and took our drink order. About 10 mins later still no drinks but someone took our food order. I’ve never had a stuffed chicken breast before that had a huge bone in it and to say it was only semi warm would be pushing it. We finally got our drinks of course one of them was wrong. Very unorganized food was only semi warm. We went for our anniversary had this in the reservations when we got there we told them we had a reservation they said you don’t we’d one so they didn’t even ask our name just told us to take a seat. Not somewhere I’d rush back to or recommend to anyone.
I had a reservation on Sunday, May 9th at 1:30pm for Mother’s Day. There were 4 of us and we were the only people there. We never got our food until after 3pm! The staff practically ignored us until about 2:45 when they told us our food was soon ready. I hadn’t even received a glass of water at this point. Our food came out cold. My dad, who ordered the “Terre Neuve breakfast” did not receive toutons, but in its place, got cold untoasted bread. It was shameful. After complaining to a supervisor, we did receive 35% off our Bill. The waiter never did apologize. It was the worst experience I have ever received, and would never consider returning.
We waited 1h30 for our meal.
Mother’s Day. Took 90 minutes for the food to arrive and it was not busy in the restaurant. Food was complimentary but it soured our Mother’s Day experience.
Food was over cooked. Tables were very tippy. Was very rushed.
It was in the hotel foyer lol. Hard pass
Great Atmosphere. Awesome food. Top notch service! Highly recommend!
In terms of hotel restaurants I’ve had better, I’ve had worse. The service was very good, especially given that the restaurant was pretty busy. Our Server was very friendly, helpful and quick with refills, etc.
The food however left a bit to be desired. I ordered stake that was thin and grizzly. The flavour was good and my disappointment had nothing to do with the kitchen, it was the steak they chose to purchase. It reminded me of something you would get at Ponderosa. It was not what I was expecting for the price and from the pictures I had seen here. That being said, the sides were tasty and well seasoned.
Update: We returned for breakfast this morning and breakfast was delicious. Service was once again great.
I’d eat there again if staying at the hotel but I’d probably stick with the burgers, etc.
Food is great, staff is great and an awesome location. Cant ask for anything else.
